“I had the honor of being a participant at the Fall Health Fest today, proudly representing Sunrise Recovery, put on by the health department at the Lancaster Camp Grounds. It was an amazing day with perfect weather. I only wish the turn out would have been better!“

“We had a rehearsal dinner at El Parian Steaks & Tequila. They have a back room that seats up to 60 people. They were absolutely wonderful to work with, reasonable in price, and very accommodating. They gave us the option to pick 4 menu items off the menu for our guests to choose from or the options of - taco, fajita, or nacho bar. We chose the fajita and nacho bar. The food was hot and ready when we arrived. The guacamole here tastes so good! They even packed up the leftover food for us! Their staff were very attentive and kind. We will definitely recommend them to others. Wonderful job! 👏👏👏“

“Had a family Christmas get together (party of 8) Tuesday Dec 23 at Max and Ermas Lancaster. I want to say my food was great as were the kids meals and my wife seemed to enjoy her Great American Burger! The complaints I had were less about the food but rather the attentiveness in the service. We left what was over $20 tip on a $102 ticket so the waitress was more than compensated. My mom was a waitress most of her life and so our family has always tipped. Service would have to be nonexistent for us to no tip but many would have said the kind of service received during this visit was no where near a $20 tip. At no point were we ever preemptively asked for drink refills. Max and Ermas now has fry refills much like Red Robin but again at no time were we ever asked for such. We did get asked when the food was brought out if we needed anything else but at NO point did a manager or staff member ask how the food was or check in from a customer service perspective. The ticket could have easily earned another $15-$20 higher even with suggestions of ice cream for the kids or appetizers. I wanted to share this because as stated while from a food taste perspective most of our food was terrific (The Larado Steak was way too tough) the quality of service would probably make me think about a visit again soon!“

“Alyssa was our server and she was great! Atmosphere was also nice. We ordered cocktails, the french onion soup, a side salad with blue cheese dressing, Prime Rib with creamy horseradish sauce, and Chicken Varenna. The cocktails were great. The soup was delicious and by far the best thing we had. I would go here again just for the soup if nothing else! Yes, it was that good. The blue cheese dressing on the side salad was also homemade and excellent. Not all blue cheese dressings are created equal. The prime rib was fine but not good enough when you consider the cost. The creamy horseradish was wonderful, but overall we would not order that meal again. The chicken varenna tasted ok, but was extremely dry and the pasta was overcooked. To be fair, unless I get homemade pasta served al dente, it is hard to please me when it comes to pasta taste/texture. I am a pasta snob, admittedly. I was very disappointed with the chicken varenna because I had seen several reviews raving about the meal online (which is why I ordered it). We ended with 2 Ale House coffees (also very good). Other meals coming out on trays around us looked much better than what we ordered. There was definitely enough good here to go and give it another shot. Maybe we just ordered the wrong dinners.“

She checked on the table next to ours 3 times and refilled their drinks before she got to ours. No veterans discount even though I wore a vet hat and Army polo shirt. poor. just poor this time. usually very good.“

Took me here today. and she was Right. it was great Sandwich grilled chicken with lettuce Tomato and Onion and pickles. it was fresh and delicious and the Fries was made with fresh potatoes cut into fries. “Ate at Applebees over the weekend. Our server Megan R was fantastic. She just came on shift and was slammed with 5-6 tables but that didn't stop her. She got every tables drinks and food orders in a timely manner. She didn't even write anything down even with all the chaos. Super impressed. She was also very sweet and kind! Giving only 3 stars for the atmosphere simply because they are renovating which is no fault to anyone.“
