“14” pizza with 3 toppings, $13. Beer $2.25, mixed drink $4. Pizza was good! Drinks were good (not light on the alcohol in the mixed drink like some places)! They have Broasted chicken we’ll try next time we go. Everything is home made so don’t plan on being in a hurry.”

“Delicious spot in a little old town. We stopped for lunch and had the roast beef sandwich and Fort 88 burger with bacon. The thickest slab of bacon I’ve ever seen in a burger. The food is all locally sourced and very well made. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Great spot!”

Sounds sus, but ok I tried it and….It. Did. Not. Disappoint!! I ate it so fast, I forgot to take a picture!! The cherry - Merlot sauce will be in my dreams for days to come!!!Whether you’re a local or driving through, it’s a must stop!! Such a cool place! “It's a awesome little place. Nice pool table! I brought home two subs my wife got a pizza sub that comes with 4 toppings and I got the Italian sub. The wife and I loved them. They weren't skimpy on the meat it's packed full! Can't wait to go back for pool and food.”

“Stopped in for lunch while working in the area. Ordered cheese burger, sweet potato fries, and coleslaw. Burger was cooked perfectly. The fries were, too. The coleslaw was fresh and you get a nice size serving. Some places serve it in a thimble. Not here . I have been here several times. Food and service are good and consistent........”

“We held our daughter's wedding in the hall and reception in The Vault. Appetizers, bar, food and cake........ AMAZING. We could not have asked for better food and service from Victor and his people! He worked with us on our every request, and everything was perfect. We have received MANY compliments from guests on the food and the venue. “First time back in the Boxcar in 11 years. Wanted a green beer for St Patty's Day, and they came through with some. Fair prices for drafts as well. $2.25 for 16oz, and $2.50 for 22oz. Go with the 22oz, comes in a ice cold tall mug. This place has changed so much over the years. I remember going in when you had to use the short stick to shoot pool. Great crowd, friendly and fun people.”

“I ordered a pizza for delivery… it came.. I literally JUST realized the driver filled out her OWN tip and wrote the total. She told me I just needed to sign and I glanced the in the process of my toddler throwing a fit and just seen it was filled out and didn’t think any of it. She left and I sat down and realized what happened. I mean cool she did sell herself short on a tip because I was going to tip a little more than she wrote but I still think the customer should be able to dictate the tip and not the driver.”

“Definitely worth the drive over. Ample toppings, cheese, and sauce, and a nice, soft crust. They also have a generous delivery range and will bring it to you basically in the middle of nowhere. (Don't forget to give the driver a nice tip for coming all that way.) The few people who gave negative reviews must have caught them on an off day and/or not called them back. Most, if not all restaurants will replace an order if you speak up about it. They want you to come back and spend more money.”

“My favorite in town pizza. Sauce is sweet Italian so it's not everybody's taste, but I love it. Pepperoni rolls are excellent and the antipasto salad? You HAVE to get the house dressing and a small will feed a couple easily.Parking: It's uptown in the middle of several bars and restaurants so it can be tricky at night. Plus they only have a couple of tables as it's mostly carry out.Kid-friendliness: Extremely nice people with a strong spiritual connection.”

Lots of chopped broccoli, snowpeas, onions, carrots. The sweet n sour sauce was different but ok. I needed more soy sauce. 1 packet doesn't cover a quart sized dish.”

Many other menu items are better choices but if you want the bourbon barbecue sauce? Be prepared for the bourbon lol. It's literally like Sweet Baby Rays and a shot. Good yes, but it's still got the bourbon kick.Parking: It's in town and street parking is a premium because all the bars and restaurants in town share the same street area.Kid-friendliness: Old west style atmosphere and my kids love it.Wheelchair accessibility: Its directly off the street at ground level.”

“It used to be a happening place, standing room only, but the owner has let the place go. A couple of pool tables and electric dartboard machines, and if the place gets more than a dozen people, they might turn on the main dance floor music instead of the jukebox. What a shame. The place has so much potential.”

“This place gets crowded fast. There needs to be about 5 less tables for there to be room to move. The bar food is ok, pretzels are highly recommend. We tasted the coffee beer and the s'mores beer. Not to shabby on both really. But the coffee wins hands down. Live music here is ok, not really set up for a decent show, but can hold their own for most acts. Parking in back is small and not well planned, but if you get there early and leave late you won't even notice. All in all id definitely go back. It's a great place for that town. Probably the best.”

Crispy on the bottom, soft texture in the middle.The sauce is tangy yet sweet, an impossible combination to pull off in a pizza sauce!We ordered our medium 8-slice deep dish pizza topped with pepperoni, bacon, onion, and pineapple. It was superb! After devouring my first slice, I asked my wife if she thought it was too late to order a large!This pizza is so good that we're considering a two-hour road trip to come back again!”

“Came in, wanted to place an order to pick up in 2 hours. I thought I was being helpful by ordering ahead and giving them plenty of time to complete my order. The 2 employees appeared to be put out that I requested help. There was only one customer there besides me. They told me I would need to go online to order. I left, disappointed that there was NO customer service. I drove across town and got immediate, courteous service/assistance from that store.”

“When we went they were out of tenders and all white meat, and this was early dinner time on a Saturday. They were also really slow to get out food (we were the only one in line). They apologized and gave us a discount which I thought was very unexpected and above and beyond. Upstanding staff for sure.”
