“Met my son-in-law for lunch, as we sat outside on the front porch enjoying the day I decided to try the new "Chunky Hunky", their answer to the dearly beloved, and now gone, Joe's Hungarian burger.Was a decent imitation but I feel needs to be refined if it wants to compete head to head. Found it to be a bit "dry" for my taste and could have used a few more onions & shrooms.Ordered fries on the side and they were crispy & plentiful. Our hostess, Amanda, was on spot and pleasant, a true delight.❤️My son in law had the stuffed peppers and the chicken sandwich, both were "DEEELICIOUS", according to him!! I hear the tacos & wings are more reasons to stop at the LaGrange Tavern, guess I need to go back!!!“

“Lost and looking for the freeway, I drive past Aunt 'B's dinner. After about a quarter mile, I had to turn around and go back. I was hungry and lost...so I turned around. Folk coming out said all the menu items were good....
I sat at the bar and asked the fellow next to me what he liked best...he said the Town special. The waiter said the Western Omelette.
It was the Omelet and coffee I ordered. Oh My was that good....so good I may try getting lost again just to find it.
Look for the corner of 162 X and 301. Parking is easy, people friendly and the food better than home cooking.
Told my wife about Aunt B's and had to promise I will take to Aunt B's too.
Why not get the old map out and take a country drive, you don't have to be lost, just hungry.
When you place you order tell them Joe sent you ,they will say Joe Who.. .that's Me ?“

“Just visited here with my boyfriend tonight and we were the only people in the front dining room! The food was great and very great value. Feel like they are getting screwed because of the construction right there. Would have went past it myself if my boyfriend hasn’t been there before and pointed it out. Very much recommend. Will be back very soon. :)“

“This was my first time visiting and my experience was quite pleasant. It is a weekday so there was no wait. The place is clean and you don't feel like your sharing your table with strangers. The food was good, nice sized portions with a fair price, and the service was on point. I will definitely go again“

“This hidden gem might just be our new favorite spot… we never realized such a great diner was so close to where we live! The menu has not just a great variety of options but the food was delicious. They even have Build-Your-Own options for salads, sandwiches, entrees, and more. Our server was wonderful and very patient as we made our decisions. “Yummy! Me and my hubby stopped in after our appointments today. Had a delicious breakfast. I got corned beef hash, sunny side up egg and he got chopped steak and eggs and we split some pancakes 🥞. Everything was cooked to perfection, flavorful and great price. Waitress was a sweetheart too! This is the type of place we both grew up eating at with our grandparents. Hope to bring our kids with us in the future one day. Happy customers!“

“My family and I traveled back to our hometown in Ohio for a funeral. We wanted to have some fun to cheer us up and we got in late, so this was the only place open later on a Sunday. We were so happy that we could let go and have a nice time together for some affordable bowling and some good food. The bartender was very helpful and she gave great service. Thank you to the staff for lightening our night last week.“

“what ever ice cream they have they'll make a shake for you which is delicious. The food was very very good. I felt like I was stepping back in time with the atmosphere and decor, very neat. I'll stop by again when I'm in the neighbor hood

“We stopped here on a whim trying to find somewhere new to eat on a date night and they delivered!
The staff were very friendly, the seating is seat yourself on the bar side and reservation only on the other.
Food was out of this world, we had the VooDoo Bombs (highly recommend), the brisket grilled cheese, and the Hot Fried Chicken Sandwich w/ Viper Slaw. They come with fries, but the real winner was the sweet potato fries and apple butter, it was absolutley worth the upgrade.
We will definitely be back!“

“Was looking for a spot to stop on our way to PA. Found this along the way but it was solid. I wouldn't say it was the best food I ever had but it was good and lots of variety for my family. We went with 2 young children and were easily able to appease their pickiness.
Since it was lunch I didn't try any cocktails but they sounded delicious.
Would recommend the stinky tator tots.“
