“First time! Excited! Heard nothing but compliments. The restaurant had many open seats. We enter and a person of upper management looked up and punched in something and then directed the server. The server, under direction took us to the worst place in the restaurant. My prayer was that it wasn’t because we were a family of color. I tried hard to disregard the thought as we were directed to sit outside the kitchen door. :—/. I was getting away from the kitchen. That was the last place I wanted to celebrate our special occasion. I asked for a different place in the restaurant that was housing one other visible couple. She was very happy to oblige us. When a restaurant is full, I can understand…. But this was far from the case. The server was 5STAR ! Food 5STAR ! The food was amazing and the woman working the counter was hard working and so friendly. Nonna's lasagna with fresh, home-made noodles is outstanding. Home-made lemon-honey ricotta with warm bread is off the hook! The Cavalli with home-made sausage meatballs is delicious!

“Camys was an extraordinary fast-casual Jamaican experience. The food was very flavorful and seasoned perfectly. It came out piping hot and you can tell the produce was handled with care. The plantains were perfectly balanced and fried well. The chicken was meaty and fulfilling with great amounts of deeply seasoned dark skin. Rice and peas had a great kick and rounded out the meal extremely well. The beef patties were also pretty decent. The counter worker needed to carry some personality to match the bold flavors of the dishes. But overall this was probably the best jerk food I’ve had in NEO.”

“The young man at the service counter had excellent customer service. He was polite and patient with a "needy" customer, and that was nice to see. The tuna wrap and the tuna sandwich that he made for us were done well. We could not have done anything differently, but maybe the bread toasted slightly better. “My meal was great, but things could have gone better. My moms meal came out and it was ice cold (a hot dish) and by the time the waiter came around everyone was nearly finished eating so she sent it back without getting something else. We also ordered an appetizer and for the price, an egg roll sampler, it was basically 4 rolls cut in half. We got a hot crab dip also and the bread slices that came with it where practically inedible due to how hard and burnt they where.”
