“Pretty damn good. I prefer it to Chipotle. Some different types of meats and veggies to finish the Burrito, Bowl, or Tacos with.

Brian at this Lyndhurst location was above and beyond and working his tail off.

“I had a disappointing experience at another Chipotle location that wasn’t prepared at 11 AM—no steak, brown rice, lettuce, or fajitas available. Frustrated, I came to this location, and they completely turned things around. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Their kindness and professionalism really stood out, and I truly appreciate them fixing the other location’s mistake. This is the kind of service that keeps customers coming back. “We came to Barroco's on Larchmere for the first time to celebrate a friend's birthday. We live an hour away and regularly try new and interesting places. This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and a creative menu of food and cocktails. Our server, Brianna P, took amazing care of us with recommendations that were on-point! “You know that scene in Ratatouille where the food critic was transported to his childhood from the food that happened to me here. The tacos tijuana with carne asada brought me back to when I was a kid sharing a botana platter with friends after church in the little hole in the wall restaurant down the street. I've never had carne asada like that since, and now I've found it. The holy grail Taco. The one Taco to rule them all. The macguffin of my life. I've found on my 40th birthday a taco that was and shall be my simple yet amazing friend. Don't get me wrong, I love Condado, Momocho, and lesser but still love for Barrio. However, they were usurped in my heart by the new number 1 authentic Mexican in my humble opinion. I love food, and for the first time in a long while, I felt that love was reciprocated. Don't miss this hidden gem. You won't regret it!“

“we order from here at least once a week ordered yesterday. went to pick up the order and the cashier who is always very rude tried to charge me $2.00 more for each dinner. I had to get a menu to show her the prices because she wanted to argue about it. the burritos were also very dry, when usually the food is very good. they need a new cashier!“

“Sad that I hadn’t ventured here sooner. The atmosphere was calm and exciting at the same time. The guac was impressive, and the chips were perfect…and then the food came.

I was not at all expecting to have a steak this good. I can normally pick apart a steak but literally nothing on the plate was anything short of perfect. The potatoes were next level.

“The grocery store has authentic Latin American products that I could not find anywhere else in the area. Ordered steak plate from restaurant and it was also authentic and delicious. Real Latinx flavors. Highly recommend. El supermercado tiene productos Latinoamericanos que no pude encontrar en el area (totopos El Milagro, queso panela, paletas, pupusas, etc). Ordenamos una carne asada del restaurant y aliño estuvo delicioso.“

Little bit pricey for amount of food I got but overall taco bowl was good.

I heard about 4% surcharge when using credit card. Next time I would not use credit card again so I can avoid approximately 4% surcharge on my final bill.

I’m glad it’s open late til’ 10:30pm on most days except Sundays.“

“Very pleased with cuisine. There were twelve of us and everyone enjoyed their lunch. The food was different from what we're used to eating because this is Latin American cuisine. Most of us had plantains and all were cooked differently but extremely tasty. I had the Sancocho as an entrée with Black Bean Soup as an appetizer...both very delicious. Nat, the waitress, was extremely attentive. Can't wait till we go back.“
