“Visited this weekend and we were very happy with our server/bartender Hunter! He was on top of things, handled our substitutions easily, and pleasant to talk to. Food was pretty decent, the tortilla on the burrito was weirdly hard or overcooked on the edges which made it hard to cut. But overall a good experience and fun casual atmosphere!“

“Wow, where do I begin? I was there for lunch, and the garage doors were open which created a great atmosphere. The food was flat out amazing and so flavorful. The wings were also on point. I would not typically order wings from a taco joint, but after being advised they're great, we tried them and I can't disagree! Magnificent. And the sauce they serve is far from a conventional wing sauce, but it's delicious! I highly recommend this place in every aspect. Oh, and the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and punctual. Ohh, and DEFINITELY try the spicy margarita. Best marg of that type I've ever had. Smoky. Great stuff all around. ?“

“1/25/2025 First time here. Wonderful experience. The food was incredible. We had 2 special items for the week..the chicken tortilla soup and Alambre tacos. Food was fresh and extremely flavorful. The taco tortilla was lightly fried and was crispy, not gummy like most. We had the Elote(corn off the cob) topped with a lime Crema maybe that was the best I have ever had. Margarita was delicious and a large glass was only $9.00. The place looks small from the outside but dining room is open and pretty large. “Come here with my GF at least once a month. Prices are perfect. The food is great and holds many options and there margaritas are the best that we've had anywhere near beechmont so far. All the servers are friendly including the girls that work the front at the greeting and the workers at the bar. Love this spot hopefully they get more recognition!“

“El Barril is a really awesome Mexican joint we found in Mount Adam's in Cincinnati. It had both indoor and outdoor seating but on this day we decided on the inside. The restaurant looks really super fun with lots of tremendous decor with even the chairs being unique (and comfortable too.) They had a lot of unique takes on Mexican dishes (lots of unique burgers on the menu for one) as well as some classic favourites. We started with an appetizer of Buffalo Chicken Dip which was a straightforward take on it. It had lot's of chicken, a very flavourful but not too spicy Buffalo sauce, and some blue cheese mixed in. It was served with chips. This was as good of take as I've had on a Buffalo Dip that I've had from anyplace. For my main course I tried the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos which was 3 hard tacos served with grilled shrimp topped with spicy Bang Bang sauce as well as cilantro. This was very unique but very delicious all the same. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and that sauce I would describe as zesty with a slight punch but not too much. Really liked them a lot. My wife enjoyed her Margarita as well as her food (I believe it was a pork dish but I forgot to take a picture). This was a super fantastic lunch and I for one can't wait to come back.“
