“Easy to find location and plenty of parking. This location wasn't very busy, so we were seated right away. For not being busy, service was on the slow side, not bad or rude or anything, just slow.For came out hot and correct. The food was good. Refills we're slow as well. Maybe a new waiter, or he was tired. I would eat here again.“
“Order at counter. Drinks in a cooler next to counter. Assorted soda, water, tea and beer. Food was brought to our table. Started with chips, queso, elote.We enjoyed these starters. Main dish, I ordered the chicken quesadilla with crema. This was a very tasty quesadilla and I would order again. They have a trash and recycle can next to door for you to dispose of your paper dishes and drink bottles. A very small staff, but they did a great job making sure we had what we needed.“
“Stopped in for a late weekday lunch. Huevos Rancheros were delicious and fresh. Only thing that would make it better is more and original vegetarian options.Vegetarian options: Pretty much the same old options as other Mexican style restaurants. In this day an age you would think there would be better options.“
“We've decided to work on a little tour of Cincinnati style chili, and picked Gold Star for our next version. We ordered ahead online, but service was slow and it wasn't ready when quoted. The food itself was very good - we got two cheese coneys, two 4-Ways with onions, a 3-Way, and fries, so that we could get a good sample size. It was well packaged for carryout.“
“Legit street tacos! Moved here from LA and have been looking for decent tacos that aren’t expensive. This place should not be struggling for customers. The meat seasoning is mild but flavorful. We’re gonna call it sazon Ohio lite, but you can kick it up at the salsa bar with excellent pickled habanero onions and jalapeño cilantro salsa. If you have a friend who doesn’t like flavor they can get some white bread and ham from subway next door. If they weren’t in a strip mall with nothing else nearby they’d be killing it. DoorDash and thank me later.“
