“Couldn’t call them but when I got there my friend had me call him and he placed the order with the friendly girl working the counter.Food was great, authentic and their pico is delicious! I ran out of tacos and started just eating the pico like coleslaw!Muy bueno!!“
“I found this place on Google & it’s literally 3 minutes from my house. I went the first time & I was so impressed, I now go all the time! The food is delicious & is definitely homemade. The prices are very reasonable as well. And the ladies who own it are beautiful, sweet, kind women. I genuinely enjoy seeing & talking to them. ❤️“
“Everytime I've been here the waitresses or waiters have ALWAYS been so nice and helpful. The food was always fresh and is delicious ik. I love their Birrias specially, but everything there is delicious and packed with flavor. Their salsa verde is also delicious and not overly spicy. The atmosphere of the place is warm and welcoming, as well as beautifully decorated. I went for my 21st in august and I do not at all regret going there. Truly one of my favorite places. Thank you!“
“Stopped for lunch. Walked in. Placed order. It was only about 10 minutes. The food was delicious! Got the L19 lunch and also the sopapias. So good! You must try. The portion was a good size. Not skimpy. Fast friendly service. Will definetely go back.“
“This was my husband and my first time having Taqueria y Pupuseria Mari. We each got a pork and cheese pupusa and a pork, bean, and cheese pupusa with mild sauce and red sauce. Last minute, we decided to add two quesa birrias. First, I have to say the customer service was top tier. I have anxiety so trying new places can be hard for me. I prefer to be able to look at the menu ahead of time so I can say exactly what I want when I go in because I worry that I’ll look stupid otherwise. I did not feel that way at all when we went in though. I didn’t feel like I was being a bother when I asked what was in something and she actually told us about some menu items without us even asking, giving us recommendations of popular menu items since it was our first time. The food was absolutely delicious, too. My husband and I both loved everything about it. I don’t like cole slaw in general so I didn’t get that but my husband doesn’t mind it so he decided to try the spicy slaw. He said if he liked cole slaw rather than just tolerated it, that would be how he would eat it because it was really good that way. This restaurant doesn’t look like much from the outside but aren’t those usually the best ones? I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!“
“Pros: Food was decent and service was good. Ambiance was fine. They clearly put a lot of thought, time, and money into the decor. Business was clean overall. Cleanliness goes a long way for me!Cons: Salsa tasted like straight-up garlic juice and the chips were hard. Music playing a bit too loud for my preference. (My phone was in my purse sitting next to me and I missed a call because I never heard it ring since the music was so loud). As I was walking out, I heard one employee shout a swear word (not directed at me), but still unprofessional. I have worked in food service and I love swearing, but I wouldn't do it right in front of customers in the main lobby. Gossiping and complaining in Spanish is still gossiping and complaining.“
“Everything tasted amazing, service was quick and our server was so sweet. The only issue is the price. I got a huge California burrito for $14 however, my brother ordered the ribeye and it tasted good but was very thin and not worth the $20+ price. Do yourself a flavor and try their homemade hot and mild sauce. The hot had great smoky flavor with a slow burn heat that lingers just long enough to be enjoyable. Their salsa was amazing and not to watery.“
“This is my favorite place in town, and a few months ago my family of 4 could eat here for $40-$50. We went there the other night and our bill was $91. I know it's not their fault because the food costs have gone up. Just not going to be able to eat here as much.“
