“Once again I'd like to compliment this place for their consistency - like fifty years of it! It's not just the Taco Salad, which Taco Salad originated (yes, they did), but all the menu items have a stand-alone personality, a draw established by the original owner back in the fair-play hippie days. Always a fun spot, always a fair deal (not the skimpy factory food of Taco Bell and such neighborhood parasites, robbing local businesses of patronage). The Norwood location is the most laid-back Taco Casa. The new manager is tops, dedicated as they come. Grab a carry-out and hit the little park across Mtgmy road. Taco Casa is as much a Cincinnati tradition now as the chili spots. And a much better deal if you've ever seen Gold Star's "double decker," overpriced, sad, threadbare cafeteria fare. Yuk. Just finished a TC taco salad and I'll say it again: the much-imitated but never duplicated buttermilk dressing is a secret recipe I'd give anything to learn. If you know, you know :-) it's the best.“

-The enchiladas NORTENA was great. Great spinach cheese sauce. The chicken one was not that good or bad. The cheese and beef were good.
- Jumbo margarita (raspberry) was very good!“

“One of the few Taco Bells that hasn't switched to kiosks. They always get my order right, the food is always warm, and the staff is always very friendly! I go out of my way to dine at this location because it is better than all of the other locations around me.“

“Crown Cantina provided a exceptional dining experience last night. The kitchen is 100% gluten-free, offering a unique and refreshing change of pace. We started with the tostadas and salsa, which were delicious and had a nice kick. We also enjoyed the Hamachi, the Tijuanero (steak taco), and the large plate chicken enchiladas verde, all of which were made to order and full of flavor. The margaritas were also a highlight, with the ghost and guava margarita being a standout. All of their margaritas are crafted in-house, making them a healthier option. If you're looking for a high-end Mexican meal, Crown Cantina is a great choice.“

“I haven’t had a meal hit that good in a while and the atmosphere was a vibe and exceeded my expectations! They were jamming Bad Bunny which I enjoyed, perfect warm sunny day patio vibe. The tacos were the best if not the best birria tacos I’ve had! The street corn was really good, I think my personal preference would have been a little more of the sauce on the outside of the cob. No complaints about the strawberry churro with chocolate dipping sauce! Got a birria ramen for the road and it was pretty good, I feel like it would have been better with some shredded cheese in it and I’m unsure if there was supposed to be some that came in it but mine did not. Still good though! I also rock with their values, they stand with immigrants and against ICE“

Food is great. Bit expensive but I'd come here before going to Chipotle now.
Wish they had more topping options but it's a lot of food and very filling because of the rice. I got a bowl with steak and shrimp. Love the 1st customer coupon by purchasing online also.
Employees work fast and are very friendly.“

The menu is loaded with amazing food from numerous countries in S. America. Huge portions (food AND drink!) at reasonable prices and everything we tried was over-the-top delish! We've returned num times...our new favorite place to eat with consistently great food/drinks!“

When it came time for dessert the server said that they had churros and I’m glad we ordered them because they were delicious. We had fajitas and and a taco salad and both of them were amazin as well.

“We got 10 tacos and one quesadilla with a tip for $60 - so it's affordable! Good quality meat and corn tortillas, very authentic. Nice spicy red sauce and refreshing green sauce. They don't skimp on the meat, cheese, toppings and sauce! Good place, just slightly sketchy area, but it's all good. They were busy enough and speedy to make the order.“

“Loved this place completely until today. I've been here probably 40-50 times in the last 2 years. It's always been pretty good and good service. Today I met a friend there for dinner and we got Ismaelas a server. He got mad at us because our drinks weren't right. All we did was ask for something different. He did not like that. We got our new drinks after about 10 minutes. We ordered our food and he even repeated back to us what we were ordering as he was writing it down. Once our food came mine had onions and pico. Neither of which I eat. We waited a few minutes for him to come back around and I told him about my issue. He looked mad that I did not want the onions on my food. Literal just gave me a dirty look.I told him to just take it back and I do not need a replacement. My friend did eat his tacos. He didn't come back over to our table for a while. My buddy ran out of his drink for maybe 15-20 minutes. We told the lady at the counter but she didn't seem to care. Hopefully someone does. I've brought a lot of people to this establishment and I myself have spent a ton of money there bringing my family of 5. Ive left good reviews and always spoke highly of this place. I've always bragged about how they have it figured out. Well, today has somewhat ruined it for me. Never once were we rude or out of line. I'm guessing Ismael was having a bad day. Maybe I'll come back later in the future, maybe not. That's sucks because I really like their food.“

“We went today after seeing them on Mullet Review last week. GLAD WE DID!! They have a family style buffet 11-4 Saturday and Sunday, and it’s awesome! We got there at open and they were still finishing setup, no worries cause the chips were warm and the salsa was flavorful with a little heat. All the typical favs were on the buffet and some stuff I’ve never tried before. The soups are delicious and flavorful. There’s a variety of meats as well as veggies, rice, beans, cheese and salsa. Dessert bar has some of the freshest fruits we’ve ever had. There’s also fried and corn dogs, I assume for the kids or people who have a preference away from the Mexican choices. My favs were of course the beans and rice, chicken fajita mix and the seafood/crab soup. Def going to make this a regular stop!!“

“Everyone was very friendly and acknowledged me right away even though they were 30 minutes from closing. My food was phenomenal which I was very happy about since some places don't serve quality food up to time of closing. I paid for extra chicken in my burrito and they really loaded it up. This was a much better value than Chipotle right around the corner. The flavor was amazing, the chicken wasn't over cooked, and the rice wasn't crunchy. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“El Barril is a really awesome Mexican joint we found in Mount Adam's in Cincinnati. It had both indoor and outdoor seating but on this day we decided on the inside. The restaurant looks really super fun with lots of tremendous decor with even the chairs being unique (and comfortable too.) They had a lot of unique takes on Mexican dishes (lots of unique burgers on the menu for one) as well as some classic favourites. We started with an appetizer of Buffalo Chicken Dip which was a straightforward take on it. It had lot's of chicken, a very flavourful but not too spicy Buffalo sauce, and some blue cheese mixed in. It was served with chips. This was as good of take as I've had on a Buffalo Dip that I've had from anyplace. For my main course I tried the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos which was 3 hard tacos served with grilled shrimp topped with spicy Bang Bang sauce as well as cilantro. This was very unique but very delicious all the same. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and that sauce I would describe as zesty with a slight punch but not too much. Really liked them a lot. My wife enjoyed her Margarita as well as her food (I believe it was a pork dish but I forgot to take a picture). This was a super fantastic lunch and I for one can't wait to come back.“
