“Once again I'd like to compliment this place for their consistency - like fifty years of it! It's not just the Taco Salad, which Taco Salad originated (yes, they did), but all the menu items have a stand-alone personality, a draw established by the original owner back in the fair-play hippie days. Always a fun spot, always a fair deal (not the skimpy factory food of Taco Bell and such neighborhood parasites, robbing local businesses of patronage). The Norwood location is the most laid-back Taco Casa. The new manager is tops, dedicated as they come. Grab a carry-out and hit the little park across Mtgmy road. Taco Casa is as much a Cincinnati tradition now as the chili spots. And a much better deal if you've ever seen Gold Star's "double decker," overpriced, sad, threadbare cafeteria fare. Yuk. Just finished a TC taco salad and I'll say it again: the much-imitated but never duplicated buttermilk dressing is a secret recipe I'd give anything to learn. If you know, you know :-) it's the best.“

“Ok I haven't been to taco bell in a while but in the past I always thought it was hit or miss as far as service and the food. But I went later this evening before close. Only one car in the drive thru. They were very quick to ask me to order when I was ready. I am actually really impressed. There were maybe two workers but they were very attentive, fast, and very professional. I went home, and im not going to lie. ..it was probably the best quality taco bell I had ever had! Everything turned out well beyond what i expected. There were napkins. And the sauce I ordered was well supplied. The food was hot. Tasted like they just made it. I just feel like my experiences at any restaurant have been pretty disappointing and I thought taco bell did amazing tonight. I'd have posted how it looked but it was gone before I got to this ? thanks guys!“

“Crown Cantina provided a exceptional dining experience last night. The kitchen is 100% gluten-free, offering a unique and refreshing change of pace. We started with the tostadas and salsa, which were delicious and had a nice kick. We also enjoyed the Hamachi, the Tijuanero (steak taco), and the large plate chicken enchiladas verde, all of which were made to order and full of flavor. The margaritas were also a highlight, with the ghost and guava margarita being a standout. All of their margaritas are crafted in-house, making them a healthier option. If you're looking for a high-end Mexican meal, Crown Cantina is a great choice.“

“This place is awesome. Never had an order get messed up and portion sizes are generous. Food itself is always great and pricing is fair. Never gone inside but it looks similar in atmosphere to Chipolte. Staff at the pick up window are always quick and friendly. Fully recommend it.“

We had a trio of tacos plus fish tacos and the best hibiscus margarita EVER. You can find us at Comal every Tuesday. Yes, I eat the Salsa with a spoon. Yummy!!!!!!!“

“Decent restaurant nearby. Decent size parking lot. Complimentary Chips & Salsa (didn’t ask if they have spicy salsa). We came in on a Friday evening and got the last table for 8. Friendly server and decent foods. Our grandkids like it, thus we will probably come back. I had the special “Cubed Steak with White Rice, and Corn”, quite good.“

“Loved this place completely until today. I've been here probably 40-50 times in the last 2 years. It's always been pretty good and good service. Today I met a friend there for dinner and we got Ismaelas a server. He got mad at us because our drinks weren't right. All we did was ask for something different. He did not like that. We got our new drinks after about 10 minutes. We ordered our food and he even repeated back to us what we were ordering as he was writing it down. Once our food came mine had onions and pico. Neither of which I eat. We waited a few minutes for him to come back around and I told him about my issue. He looked mad that I did not want the onions on my food. Literal just gave me a dirty look.I told him to just take it back and I do not need a replacement. My friend did eat his tacos. He didn't come back over to our table for a while. My buddy ran out of his drink for maybe 15-20 minutes. We told the lady at the counter but she didn't seem to care. Hopefully someone does. I've brought a lot of people to this establishment and I myself have spent a ton of money there bringing my family of 5. Ive left good reviews and always spoke highly of this place. I've always bragged about how they have it figured out. Well, today has somewhat ruined it for me. Never once were we rude or out of line. I'm guessing Ismael was having a bad day. Maybe I'll come back later in the future, maybe not. That's sucks because I really like their food.“

“El Barril is a really awesome Mexican joint we found in Mount Adam's in Cincinnati. It had both indoor and outdoor seating but on this day we decided on the inside. The restaurant looks really super fun with lots of tremendous decor with even the chairs being unique (and comfortable too.) They had a lot of unique takes on Mexican dishes (lots of unique burgers on the menu for one) as well as some classic favourites. We started with an appetizer of Buffalo Chicken Dip which was a straightforward take on it. It had lot's of chicken, a very flavourful but not too spicy Buffalo sauce, and some blue cheese mixed in. It was served with chips. This was as good of take as I've had on a Buffalo Dip that I've had from anyplace. For my main course I tried the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos which was 3 hard tacos served with grilled shrimp topped with spicy Bang Bang sauce as well as cilantro. This was very unique but very delicious all the same. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and that sauce I would describe as zesty with a slight punch but not too much. Really liked them a lot. My wife enjoyed her Margarita as well as her food (I believe it was a pork dish but I forgot to take a picture). This was a super fantastic lunch and I for one can't wait to come back.“

It somewhat took away from the really good brunch options, atmosphere and great service. We asked if they could turn the volume down, but the manager said no.“

“We went today after seeing them on Mullet Review last week. GLAD WE DID!! They have a family style buffet 11-4 Saturday and Sunday, and it’s awesome! We got there at open and they were still finishing setup, no worries cause the chips were warm and the salsa was flavorful with a little heat. All the typical favs were on the buffet and some stuff I’ve never tried before. The soups are delicious and flavorful. There’s a variety of meats as well as veggies, rice, beans, cheese and salsa. Dessert bar has some of the freshest fruits we’ve ever had. There’s also fried and corn dogs, I assume for the kids or people who have a preference away from the Mexican choices. My favs were of course the beans and rice, chicken fajita mix and the seafood/crab soup. Def going to make this a regular stop!!“

“I am a couple weeks late to writing this - I got the mediterranean bowl and it was PERFECT literally so good didn’t ask for anything to be changed and this was the most yummy food I have ordered out in forever, amazing taste and portions were generous, they gave me a ton of everything! it was just delicious, either this location or tylersville - we can’t remember right now but they gave us the most delicious food and service! the ladies working the front were so amazing to my husband and I when we came in with our baby, they gave us something special for our next visit too and that meant so much we just lost our dad unexpectedly two weeks ago right before christmas so these ladies don’t understand what their random act of kindness meant after we paid for our food! thank you for such a great experience we look forward to coming back seriously craving the mediterranean bowl right now!! currito needs to come to the west side of town“

“I love this place!!! I normally get chicken tacos or a beef huarache and both never disappoint. There are definitely times someone in the kitchen is lacking, but I feel most times I’m there I get the most perfect chicken or beef. I love the salsas they bring to the table as well, they’re an essential when trying the tacos, my personal favorite is the green one. Sometimes the music can be too loud or there are children running around, but it adds to the vibe and never annoys me. Such a delicious local taqueria, this is my place for a taco fix!“
