Despite missing the previous restaurant, El Ranchero, the reviewer found El Asadero to be just as enjoyable. The revamped interior and extensive menu, especially the variety of massive margaritas, impressed the reviewer. They tried beef empanadas, birria quesadillas, lunch steak fajitas, and grilled tilapia, all of which were seasoned well and delicious. The salsa was thicker than usual and flavorful.
