Loved this place completely until today. I've been here probably 40-50 times in the last 2 years. It's always been pretty good and good service. Today I met a friend there for dinner and we got Ismaelas a server. He got mad at us because our drinks weren't right. All we did was ask for something different. He did not like that. We got our new drinks after about 10 minutes. We ordered our food and he even repeated back to us what we were ordering as he was writing it down. Once...read full review

El Asadero Mexican Bar & Grill - Forest Park is always a phenomenal experience with food, fun drinks, and the best service. The restaurant features bright colors of the interior, a big room with pillars and partitions, and cute picture taking places on the walls. The atmosphere is amazing, clean, and welcoming, with great music. The food is fresh beyond fresh. Meals like fresh lettuce tacos, pollo loco, birria quesadillas, and the luis special are amazing and awesome. The chocoflan is one of the best desserts ever. Table side guac and light up margaritas are highlights. The service is incredibly helpful, nice, and ON IT. Staff are attentive, kind, and go out of their way, holding the door for guests with walkers and anticipating needs before they are asked. Servers are wonderful, sweet, and the best. The restaurant offers prompt service even during off peak times. Never a bad experience here, 10/10 food and service. Whether for a family dinner or a birthday celebration, El Asadero exceeds everything. It is a vibe and a favorite Mexican food spot.
