“My niece and I finally checked out Joey’s Kendal Tavern after hearing so many great things, and it did not disappoint. We both had the Deluxe Louisiana Burger. It was perfectly cooked, piled high with cheese, onions, and peppers. The portion was generous, the fries were delicious, and it was more than worth the $13. On top of the great food, our waitress Heather was wonderful, and the owner was very friendly. Overall, a great experience and we’ll definitely be back.“

“Hands down the best place to get fried chicken and jojo's ( fried potato wedges in the same breading as the chicken). The taste of there batter for the chicken is so delicious and they always cook it the same way every time and I visit multiple locations in akron and canton Ohio. There Cole slaw is also good, it's creamy and has that good taste you want when buying it. They also have other menu items such as subs and pizza, and more. There pizza is also delicious I love there different kind of signature pizzas, such as the Greek, and there Hawiann! If your looking for good prices and a good fried chicken spot please come to gioninos they have many in the stark and summit county areas, it's my go to everytime I want Chicken and jojos!“

“First time we've had "nothing to brag about" service from here. We come here often and this time our server was forever getting to our table just to get our drinks. I order sweet tea with lemon had to ask 3 times before getting the lemon. Hubby orders no tomatoes on his meal and they came with. She took his dish back and to be honest it didn't take long and here she came with his dish. We think they just took them off and some extra fries and added a few new fries and the toppings (roosters nest) I asked for a box to bring left overs home and that took forever she passed our table 3 or 4 times before she brought one saying she was looking for a smaller box. Like I said we been here several times and I felt like she should of wrote things down but they don't do it that way. I understand they were busy and the tomatoes could have been the kitchen staff but it's always busy there.“

“Had never tried before. Was like a Chipotle experience but Asian and delicious lemonades, seating indoor and out. I had them make a steak bowl with purple rice and think I had a Ginger teriyaki sauce. Tried the healthy soup too which was good. Highly recommend trying.“

“Ate last week here and had the soup and salad bar. It was the best salad bar I have had in years. The salad makings were fresh and plentiful. The soups were bean and noodle. The bean soup was a vegetably soup with a good broth, similar to a minestrone soup without the noodles. The noodle had three different types of noodles in a rich broth. Salad bar even had pasta salad and potato salad. Great food. Liked it so much, had to go back today. Sandwiches and lunch items start about 11AM, but breakfast items are served all day.“

“This place is an amazing place to eat and get some quick food. You can build your own pizza however you like down the line and have many different options on what to put on the pizza. I come here at a minimum 2 times a week this place is amazing and the staff are great. If you’re thinking about getting some good pizza, come on over here!“
