“Unbelievable bakery and kitchen gadget store. This place looks small on the outside and is huge on the inside. Baked goods are absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. They have ready to go decorated cakes that they will personalize while you wait. Their donuts are very good. Their bakery case has an extensive variety of sweets and breads. They sell coffee by the cup. They sell a variety of coffee beans you grind to the texture you choose. They have sanding sugars of all types and colors. They sell greeting cards and wine, beer and drink mixes. They sell every kitchen gadget, small appliance, and baking pan you can imagine. Truly a delightful place to browse or to grab a baked treat.“

They made 2 custom samples for a cookie I wanted in the set, so I could see the options, and I paid less than I’d anticipated for the size of the custom order. Of course they were delicious! I will constantly have them as an ace in my sleeve, and would recommend them for any special occasions around Toledo.“

“My daughter turned 10 last week and she was so excited to have a Pink Dancer birthday cake made by the Cookie Company!? I picked it up today, took it home and put it in the microwave to keep it safe from my food driven Golden Retriever!! However, a family member took it out of the microwave to warm something up and forgot to put it back in and the dog ate a 1/4 of the cake!! I immediately brought it back to the Cookie Company and they were EXTREMELY understanding and made me a new one within 15 minutes at no extra cost!!!?♥️ Their customer service is top-notch here!!! “Cafe Donuts single handedly saved the day for our child’s donut theme breakfast birthday. We discovered that Krispy Kreme was just… closed despite placing a pick up order earlier in the week for this. This was at 9 AM and we had no treats for a party! We called cafe donuts in a panic- we had 60 people to feed! By 10:00 AM, we had 200 freshly made donut holes and four dozen raised glazes with sprinkles to match our theme still a bit warm from the fryer on our party table- even including a special donut with multicolored sprinkles in a box labeled “happy birthday!” The person picking up said every employee was working impressively quickly to get this order out the door in under 30 minutes from phone call to car! My frantic husband even noted that the manager was calm and collected when he was definitely not, suggesting the right number of donuts and types! I cannot express how extraordinary their customer service is. We already loved their donuts anyway, but I have to say I don’t know that we’ll ever go to another bakery in Toledo besides Cafe after this day saving experience!“

First- decoration was ABOVE AND BEYOND anything I could have ever expected. Second- peanut butter frosting. You need to order it. Third- that homemade caramel! “The best Tamales in Toledo, both Spicy and mild. You can buy them by the dozen, Cold or Hot. I buy three dozen pretty regularly, they're so good. The staff is so nice and helpful. The only down side is they only sell them on Saturdays and Sundays. But that tells you how damn good they are. 10 out 10. Beans and rice are top notch as well. Their pasteries are also so good. All in all it's you traditional Mexican Bodega with that fire food and merch. BUT if you Need further convincing..... I'm Mexican and eat there lol.“

For me it started with a happy 18th birthday cake and it’s still continuing with the random cup cake or cookies orders!
I’d say packaging and presentation are always A1 and when it comes to looks and taste I’d rate it A1000!
