“Barr’s Public House is such a great spot! As a realtor, I love that it’s super convenient and close to several title companies—makes it an easy stop after work or between appointments. The shrimp taco is absolutely amazing (definitely my favorite on the menu). I went one time on a Wednesday and got to enjoy some live music, which made the atmosphere even better. Great food, great vibe, and a really nice place to relax. Sometimes a little slow on service but overall I highly recommend!“

“Food was excellent and came out quickly. Service not so great as our waitress barely checked on us and had to wait for a refill. The atmosphere was nice, except for the ugly picture if the Big Nut I had to see the whole time. The outdoor seating area looked nice too but was way too hot to sit outdoors that evening.“

“This is a decent restaurant right off the strip in Sylvania. There is a large variety of various cheese melt sandwiches. The Milky Way Martini was absolutely delicious. The french fries were hot and crispy. The Onion rings we're borderline roached a couple were. The sandwiches are really good. Maybe a little bit pricey but at least it was fresh food.“

“I came here a little over an hour before closing then was seated by the hostess, our waitress took our drink order then was inattentive for 35 minutes after me even waving her down multiple times but wouldn’t come to the table, I brought it up to the owner and kitchen staff out in the sushi making area, and they were right at my service, from there me, the owner and few employees even made some genuine conversation, and brought out the food very quickly, (which is always fantastic) when I was all finished the owner told us it was all free, I really hope the owner and staff knows that was the best customer service I have ever received, so a huge thank you to the owner and staff!“

“We were able to have some amazing Doc’s Rib Cage food at a party, and it was all hot and tasty! The staff was wonderful to work with, and the Mac and cheese, chicken chunks, and shredded pork were especially delicious! The portions were huge, so we got to have awesome leftovers too!“

“Good food. Sometimes a bit tough to make a take out order. They get busy. About 80% of the time I get what I asked for, exactly. But again, not a deal breaker. They fix things. Better then many others. Nothing really bad. But very good food.. especially chili.“

“A good friend of mine and I swung by after the Maumee Film Festival to end the evening. Its a good place to go to near uptown (especially if you don’t want to deal with the traffic/parking of uptown).
Ambiance reminded me of a bar near home, but this place was more delightful and spacious. They have a NICE pool table (free pool and Sundays and Mondays too!) The bartender who served us was good.
I ordered the Bourbon Pulled Pork (Under Doc Specialty). I was surprised to be honest, I didn’t expect the portion to be THIS big?! I had to use both hands- I used the fries to eat what dropped out. The sauce was better than the food truck we stopped at earlier in the day during intermission.
If you haven’t eaten much during the day and want something to pair well with a beer, this would be it!

“This place is and has been a go-to for my husband's family for years! The people are super nice and the margaritas be margarita-ing like WHOA! 🥴🤣 Lol but in the best way! So good and better than most in the area. Others tend to taste too syrupy. City Hall margs taste fresh and not to mention, such a huge variety of flavors!“

“I took my girlfriend to the Toledo Black Rock for Valentines day. To start, the restaurant is beautiful. In addition to this, the food was brilliant. The manager came out to check on us mid way through our meal. He was very kind and very helpful. Lastly, the service was on point. Our waitress, Katelyn, was always ready and available to help. It was one of my best dining experiences. We will be back!“

“Brian and I was there for our 1st time last night February 29, 2024 and wow was we surprised. great atmosphere service was awesome and other customers was friendly too. The food was extremely good and for the 1st time I heard my husband say I'm full after having 2 yes 2 slices of pizza. We will be back and spread the word about Pizza Pub 516.“

“The food was amazing! It was my first time going. The style was buffet and the assortment was fantabulous! The only drawback was that our waitress never cleared any dishes from our table or came back to ask if anyone needed refills. We were there, a party of over 20 for maybe 2 hours. Another glass of water would've been nice. Other than sitting in here section, 10/10. I highly recommend. Chef's 💋“

“The food and environment is great! I really the love the chicken quesadilla, catfish nuggets and turkey walking taco. They had the strongest margarita I’ve ever had! I went during the daily happy hour and while the appetizers was half off. $5 Marg & a nice size $9 quesadilla all for under $20. My stomach was happy. Don’t hesitate to stop into the Breeze Bar & Grill. Actually you should RUN! Lol“
