“We were in Ohio for a wedding and stopped here for dinner. There was a 45 minute wait but after a quick look inside, we decided that it was worth checking out. We were very glad we waited, the appetizers were incredible and the burgers were perfect. I love bourbon and was impressed at their selection. “We ate at the Don Juan Mexican Bar & Grill - Maumee, 551 W Dussel Dr, Maumee, OH 43537 and had the best service I have had in a long time. Gina, our waitress, was very nice and offered to let me use her nail glue because my sandal broke. She helped me pick an amazing drink and made sure our party was happy with everything we got. It is nice to see people actually care about the people they are serving and not just the pay check they are getting. “Love coming here. The food is great and there are a wide variety of drinks both on tap and in cans/bottles in the cooler to pick from. They often have events like trivia or live music going on which they post on Facebook. There is also a small patio outside when the weather is nice. They welcome kids and have a cart of toys and activities, but there are no changing tables in the bathrooms, just as a heads up.

Kid-friendliness: There are toys and activities available. I think they have 2 high chairs. No changing tables though.“

“Stopped in for the first time with my wife to eat dinned. Originally ordered the sausage sandwich but the were out. I ultimately ordered the kielbasa hash. It was very tasty and I thought priced well. The wife ordered a burrito and 2 tacos. I had a bite of both and they too were pretty good and priced well. The atmosphere is that of a neighborhood bar. Both patrons and employees were nice and pleasant. We plan to return.“
