“Perfect venue, fantastic staff! Shelly’s hosted a party of around 60 guests for my mom’s 70th birthday. The venue was a perfect mix of places to sit, lounge, or move around to catch up with friends. Shelly and Adrienne served great drinks all evening. Everyone commented on what a great time they had. Don’t hesitate to book Shelly’s for your next event!“

“Delicious pizza first of all. My wife and I finished the whole thing. Staff was very friendly and pointed us in the right direction as far as ordering food & drinks. Yes, you go up to order your own pizza, but they do bring it to you. Fun atmosphere for a trip out without the kids!“

“Food was excellent and came out quickly. Service not so great as our waitress barely checked on us and had to wait for a refill. The atmosphere was nice, except for the ugly picture if the Big Nut I had to see the whole time. The outdoor seating area looked nice too but was way too hot to sit outdoors that evening.“

“We ate at the Don Juan Mexican Bar & Grill - Maumee, 551 W Dussel Dr, Maumee, OH 43537 and had the best service I have had in a long time. Gina, our waitress, was very nice and offered to let me use her nail glue because my sandal broke. She helped me pick an amazing drink and made sure our party was happy with everything we got. It is nice to see people actually care about the people they are serving and not just the pay check they are getting. We will definitely be going back and hopefully Gina will be there with here bright smile!“

“Charlie’s in Maumee is truly a gem in our community. The ambiance and food quality are wonderful. We’ve enjoyed breakfast, Gyros, full dinners, and desserts on multiple occasions, and each experience has been excellent. George and his staff truly care. We highly recommend it!“

“When we can get a babysitter, this is the spot my wife and I come for date night every time! The beer selection is always good (and you can sample whatever beer is on tap to find the one you like), the food is good, and the bartenders are always wonderful!“

“A great place!! I went there 30 years ago. It was wild. I used to go to Henry J's, and friend suggested going to Frankies. It was insane. There was always something going on wherever you were at at the place, even out back in the parking lot & they had an area outside where you could drink & relax. My Sister & friends wanted me to go see the Smashing Pumpkins... I said no...It's probably just some unknown band that was never going to make it. Boy, I was wrong. 🎃“

“Stopped by Lenny's for a quick beer with my son, and grandson. {Lenny lll and Lenny lV.} We were a little short on time but all three of us were impressed with the relaxed friendly atmosphere but especially with Alex who was tending bar. He is truly a pro at his art. We plan to return and spend more time on our next visit.“

“I went for a baby shower. The bartender was very nice and informative. She filled me in on how to join and what membership entailed..I didn't really look around the entire place so I can't give an honest opinion. And i didn't eat so I can't comment on the food.

“I stopped in and I said Wow. Impressive pinballs -Bar -bathroom-Change machine. Bartender extremely professional. Played Venom - Lady next to me was playing Sopranos which too funny ?? kept saying Fuc# all the time. Too funny. She and I were laughing. Jeffrey you are not allowed to have that one. Will be back. Good exercise - going up and down the stairs.“

“We had a large party so we purchased the ‘cater’ type deal. It was awesome. Lots of sandwich options and sides. Our waitress, Traci, was great. “Townie bar. Service is kinda slow, one bartender thinks she is the almighty higher being and will cut you off for no reason, but everyone likes to feel special and that they're in charge of others. It's been around for 100 years, probably be around for another 100. If you like the dark, depressing bar atmosphere, this is the place for you!“

“We were in Ohio for a wedding and stopped here for dinner. There was a 45 minute wait but after a quick look inside, we decided that it was worth checking out. We were very glad we waited, the appetizers were incredible and the burgers were perfect. I love bourbon and was impressed at their selection. If we are ever back in Ohio, we will definitely be back.“
