“Food is good, however in the past they along with other restaurants showed appreciation for Veterans by offering a complimentary meal to the Veteran(s) on Veterans Day. They don't do that anymore. Now its a complimentary ice cream desert and a gift card for an appetizer for your next visit. Don't come here Veterans... dont come here on Veterans Day. Go to Outback or Applebee's where you can actually feel appreciated the one day out of the year.“

“Spats is my kinda place. The first time I visited Spats, I saw a neon beer sign in the window and figured I’d grab a beer while I was waiting for my gf to finish her shopping. I was instantly met with the dive-bar/hole in the wall vibe. Spats did not disappoint! If that’s not what you’re looking for, you might try the dining area instead of the bar area, which has at least 10 TVs, so I assume it’s also a nice sports bar.

So I told my gf that we should come back sometime when we want to hang out. We did! There aren’t many vegetarian options, but you can get typical bar food, plus an extensive lunch/dinner menu. I tried the fried mushrooms. They were delicious! I see why some ppl don’t like the fries, but they were perfect for me. They were not greasy or cooked in recycled oil like some idiots claimed in their reviews. But yes, they’re typical of real potato fries: soft and limp, just the way I like them. But they were also a little bland. Nothing a little salt couldn’t fix. I also had the fried shrimp, which was fine. Cole slaw was OK. My gf liked her chicken salad. Portions are HUGE. I’ll be back to try other items on the menu. I’m giving it 5 stars to offset the idiots who gave it one. But overall, it’s probably 4.5 stars.“

The staff is always friendly, attentive, and genuinely seems to care about their customers. The food is consistently delicious — real comfort food with generous portions at very reasonable prices. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you really can’t go wrong. The restaurant is always clean, cozy, and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for families, friends, or even a solo meal. Service is quick, coffee is always topped off, and they’re great with kids and larger groups too. “Fantastic lunch with a great friend! couldn't decide between a couple items so the waitress suggested their Toofer - basically a soup and sandwich. I got the Seafood Bisque cup and a half Ruben sandwich. Both tasted great and waitress was spot on (there when we needed her and not there when we didn't need her). “The food is outstanding! Lunch was the burger special for my husband and I had the cream of broccoli soup and club sandwich. The soup was so good and fresh tasting. The sandwich was piled high and the bacon had real bacon taste. I just wish the iced tea had more flavor, next time I'll try something else. Best meal out in a long time.We will be back for breakfast sometime soon. Everyone should dine here.“

“Where do I start ? Came for dinner Wednesday night and then came for dinner Thursday again. That should say something . I’m beyond impressed by the Staff and the establishment, it beyond exceeded my expectations. We have a lot of fine dining in the Poconos region with some higher end restaurants and this place exceeded them. The quality of the food is superior. Take a look at some of the pics of the food we ordered. Ended up meeting Sean the head chef and impressed how he runs his kitchen , everything goes with the flow . Make sure you make a reservation :) we ended up not making one and we got seated over looking the kitchen and it was the best place. You see all the action. Can’t wait to come back from Poconos. “Moved to Ohio a few months ago, after trying a few place in the neighborhood, Saw people playing corn hole in the parking lot. Decided to try it out and brought my wife. As sooner as we walked in, 1st it was busy, but was greeted right away, by what I thought was the owner, ( later found out she was working in the kitchen) . Long story short, they made us feel like we found a new home!“

“Surprised at how good the food is for a bar in a plaza. We stopped in mid-week and they had trivia, then karaoke. We must have lucked out, there were some very talented singers in the house! I had the cauliflower ‘wings’ and traditional wings which were cooked perfectly (not overcooked, very fresh). Great service too.“
