Last night Murphy and James knocked it out of the park for my boyfriend and I ... oh yes I must give it up for the chefs who delivered a home run with our steaks. But James especially went above and beyond. He said he's been there 9 years so his kindness, efficiency and rapt attention must just be in his blood. Our experience went way beyond my wildest expectations and it was because of James. Thank you Murphy, James and Longhorn for restoring my faith in the world ... “Absolutely wonderful. Amazing menu, delicious homemade soup from scratch. Service was A1 as well. Dinner was so great, we decided to try their breakfast buffet the following weekend. Without a doubt the breakfast buffet was just as good. Nothing better than picking your ingredients and watching them prepare your omelet in front of you. A must try. I refer to it as Lake counties hidden gem.

“Ordered an Arnold Palmer and specifically said “No additional lemon”. Different waitress delivered the drink WITH A LEMON. Asked that she bring me another with NO LEMON. She took the drink away and removed the lemon and brought back the same drink. Next time I'll keep the drink until she brings me an entirely new drink. Service was mediocre at best. Very sad, because it's one of my favorite restaurants and I was there with a guest. He was not impressed.“
