The last 2 times I've been there, I've had to point out the silverware wasn't clean. I also heard another customer complain of the same.“

“First time! Excited! Heard nothing but compliments. The restaurant had many open seats. We enter and a person of upper management looked up and punched in something and then directed the server. The server, under direction took us to the worst place in the restaurant. My prayer was that it wasn’t because we were a family of color. I tried hard to disregard the thought as we were directed to sit outside the kitchen door. :—/. I was getting away from the kitchen. That was the last place I wanted to celebrate our special occasion. I asked for a different place in the restaurant that was housing one other visible couple. She was very happy to oblige us. When a restaurant is full, I can understand…. But this was far from the case. The server was 5STAR ! Food 5STAR ! I will definitely try it again with hopes that it was a mistake on the management part. My hopes…“

“Tutto-Carne is a hidden gem of a restaurant on Murray Hill far enough away from the crowds in Little Italy. You could walk there for dessert, but why bother. Everything at Tutto-Carne from the appetizers (the mussels were excellent) to the desserts (tira misu) were phenomenal...plus they had valet parking right out front.“
