“First time visiting was without a flaw. Food was delicious and at a reasonable price. My guest had the filet mignon and I had the rigatoni. We shared the southwest egg rolls. My guest had water and I had tea. Everything was delicious and well presented. Total before the tip was $109. Could not spend this way 2 or more times a month, but it was a special occasion. Our service was exceptional and felt cared for but not obsessively so. The attention we were given was just right. I'll add Cooper's Hawk to my list for entertaining future guests. “My daughter and I went with friends today for lunch and it was amazing! There was plenty of parking outside (huge new lot!) and a lot of friendly staff members inside. There were giant TVs on every wall, a great food selection and drink menu. We had the deep fried pickles and cheese pulls for appetizers and they were fresh and delicious! They have a ‘Westside Charcuterie Board’ that’s an appetizer sampler platter for only 20.00! The kid meal was a nice size and my daughter loved the chicken tenders and waffle fries. The service was great. The staff was very attentive and polite. It was too hot for us to sit outside but the patio seating is really really nice! They have really made it a nice place to check out!“

“Highly recommend going to Athletico Delhi for physical therapy. I worked mainly with Brandon but their entire staff is wonderful to work with. They create a friendly environment where you feel like family. Other patients and I would often commiserate and bond over tough exercises while playfully teasing the physical therapists there! While my injury is something that couldn't fully heal through PT, Brandon helped strengthen my muscles so I could maintain my level of activity and reduce pain. It does get really busy and you may be 1 of 3-4 patients being treated at the same time, but Brandon is good at checking in on you frequently and giving 1:1 time. Sarah, who works the front desk, is also delightful and is always willing to help you figure out billing questions.“

“We rented the party room for an open house celebrating 60th birthday party and over the course of 4 hours had 100 people show up. We had a variety of appetizers and all was delicious. We had two waiters, Julia and Davey which work their butts off to take care of all of us. Great night with family and friends.“

“When I became a single dad, I relied on forming habits to get through the struggle and adjusting to a new way of life. One of these new habits was Monday nights going to the public library, going to the park and having dinner at Red Squirrel. Over the next 2.5 years, this pattern became a tradition. It helped us weather the pandemic and give us a chance to form a bond. Our tradition became known throughout my family and friends, that my mom would call if we changed up the order one night and she didn’t find us at the park. The workers at the restaurant grew to know us and that my son ordered the same thing every time. 3 pieces of French toast, whatever melon they had as part of their fruit bowl, and chocolate milk. We would talk about whatever was interesting him and I did my best to try and follow along. Over time the restaurant changed ownership. Some of the staff stayed on, some decided to move on. I believe those that moved on were the ones that made the restaurant familial, welcoming. For the last year I have broken from our tradition on Monday nights. It has grown hard to support an establishment that was once a second home. I understand times are tough and once new ownership comes in, they want to make it their own. I understand that costs of goods and services have gone up and the restaurant business operates on tight margins. What I cant understand is how a meal for a 7 year old can cost $17. When the change was made to use regular bread instead of Texas toast for the French toast, neither he nor I complained, we adjusted and ordered another slice. But this breaks down to $4 for a slice of bread dipped in egg wash and $1 for fruit, when we once paid $2/slice with the fruit included. We are not talking about the best tasting French toast. That has never been our reason for going. We went because it was our habit, we liked the staff, we were welcomed. Now when we go there are more and more empty tables, young staff on their phones and not at all welcoming. There is no sense of familial or even warmth. All that’s there is cold and sterile“
