I enjoy trying different things and asked the lady at the register what she recommended. She had really good recommendations, was kind and friendly. “The tables were big, allowing room for everyone's plates and silverware. The wings were delicious, I happened to ask for sauce on the side and enjoyed every dip in their ranch and buffalo! We stopped there looking for the Mothman Pizza, and we were not disappointed. I haven't had pizza this good in over a decade! Usually you see a novelty food, and it's fun but doesn't taste anything to write home about, but that's absolutely not the case here! It was delicious, and I just couldn't stop myself from eating to bursting! The staff were super sweet and personable, and they were quick as you please on refilling drinks! Do yourself a favor and drop buy for some good food and a relaxed atmosphere!”

I was in Pomeroy for the first time because I purchased a farm nearby and my friends said to go to Sonny’s. I will visit again because Amie made me and friends feel so welcomed, and she also made one of the best bloody Mary’s .

“The employees here work their butt's off to make sure everything is exactly the way the customer wants it. They are extremely friendly, kind, respectful and go out of their way to make customers feel welcome. On 8/21/24 in the late afternoon, I was picking up an online order when I witnessed the 3 girls working being treated like dirt by an older couple who also placed an online order. Unfortunately, the couple placed their order incorrectly, and listed what they didn't want as apposed to what they did want. The girls made the order exactly as it was placed. This couple then went on to belittle and badger these girls demanding their food be remade, all the while harassing them, talking down to them and verbally abusing them at the counter while they did what was asked of them. The girls not only kept their composure, but did so while remaining friendly and pleasant. So I am writing this reveiw to commend them for their ability to behave better than most grown adults would in such a stressful situation. Also, SHAME on you to the older couple who felt they had any right to treat these employees in such a nasty manner. Management should be aware.”

“When I received my order, the thought that ran through my head was “classic southern cooking”. This is the type of food that you could imagine a grandmother making because she thinks you need more meat on your bones. The biscuits are full, the gravy is thick and classically made with whole chunks of sausage in it, and the portions are big. The atmosphere is right out of a classic diner and comfortable to the point that I would be surprised if the cooks weren’t using griddle slang for orders. Definitely a place I would love to dine again.”

“Pizza was great. But 5 stars are for excellent customer service. Online order was wrong. When we called to complain the woman who answered the phone owned the error. She did not blame others or the computer or anything else. The remade pizza was excellent. In a age of blaming others good customer service is rare. The Mason, WV team was very refreshing to experience. We are not from Mason, WV and I was unfamiliar with Gino's. We will look for it again up in Columbus, OH because the pizza was great but the customer service was even better.”
