“Update: I have not been there in almost forever, my visit today was a 160 turn around, food was hot and the way I ordered it, service was awesome, the young man at the drive thru was really doing a great job even with the car in front changing their order but acting like it was his fault. He stayed very respectful. Probably one of the worst, no since of urgency what so ever...2 folks working on a saturday night, said they were not doing anything other than the grill, no fried food. Sure no problem 27 minutes after we paid to get 8 cheeseburgers, one went and took the trash out and stay out in the cage area on his phone, while the other one would not come any where near the window so we could just get our money back. Should be no stars“

We were a little disappointed in the serving size of the fries, Double cheese burger, and Fried bologna sandwich. Taste wise it was great. Service was fast and friendly. I'd recommend to anyone but I'd definitely recommend to double your order if you want enough to eat.“

“It doesn't look like much from the outside or the inside, but damn is that burger good. Hand made patties that definitely seem like it's more than 8 ounces. And then the topping choices are insane. I love manchego cheese and have never put it on a burger. I will be from here on out. The fried manchego with peppers and the orange/pineapple/whatever sauce was delicious.

“I’ve been here a couple times and absolutely loved it. It’s a good place to get a hearty breakfast and a good cup of coffee. The food is good, the service is outstanding and despite the place being a bit cramped at time it’s cozy. I particularly recommend this one thing I had that I think was called the Flying Pig. It was ham and swiss on french toast, and while that sounds weird it was absolutely delicious. Definitely check this place out if you can.“

“My family and I have been coming here for years and I've yet to be disappointed. The food is fantastic, and the service is quick and kind. Even if they are busy, they will get you in, or if you have a large party, they can accommodate you. Their menu is large and varied, so you will find something for everyone. Keep an eye out for the seasonal menu because it changes and you'll find yummy things on it.

“Last time we came here we had a gift card for Oakley kitchen, and the man working at the time (April 16th 2024 actually) did sketches and drawings and was super nice, (also the burgers are phenomenal) he figured out how to use the gift card perfectly fine and even rung us up a second time for another order. We came again today and they suddenly can’t take the gift card, it’s a 100 dollar gift card and there’s only four places even open here with fat Al’s being one of the two places we’re interested in. Really dissapointing as it was used perfectly fine the last time TWICE and we drove half an hour to get here specifically for their burgers. The manager was on the phone and said they were one of the last people to switch to using a card (or something like that??) but again it worked last time we came so that doesn’t make any sense :/ our visit today was on 4/30/24.“

“Neighborhood nar and grill where I felt welcome as an outsider. The burgers were cooked perfectly to order. My burger (medium well) came out with a patty the measured roughly 1-3/4" thick and 3" wide. Some don't like so thick burgers, but it was juicy and cooked perfectly to order.“

“I just went through the drive-through off of Ridge in Oakley and ordered a bacon BBQ steak burger. The gentleman who took my order could not have been more sweet and kind. Today I had a really bad day and the gentleman who took my order showed me an act of kindness that really lifted my spirits. Not to mention when I got home the sandwich was hot, and tasted really good! I hardly ever go to Steak And Shake but I am a huge fan now. The best experience I’ve had in a very long time with fast food chains. Ignore all the negative comments. This location is the BEST.“

“Last Fall, we had Ron's Roost cater a family wedding celebration at our home. When we picked up the food, it was tediously prepared and organized for transporting. Their service was outstanding! The portions were abundant! Nobody beats their chicken for a large crowd. Everyone raved about it! And we were able to send lots of food home with our guests. I HIGHLY recommend both their restaurant and this take out catering service. They are reasonably priced, a Westside favorite and owned by a lovely family. Thank you!“

“I've been a fan of Local Post since they first opened, and they never disappoint. My most recent visit was on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon, where I enjoyed the patio and the rare treat of a weekday brunch. As someone with a nontraditional schedule, I love that they offer brunch during the week! Though I didn’t see a Bloody Mary on the menu, the bartender went above and beyond to make me one, and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had. I also ordered the brunch fries, which were spot-on. The service was outstanding—friendly, accommodating, and they really made me feel at home. The laid-back atmosphere and great vibes make Local Post a go-to spot for me.“

“On 2-7-25 I ordered at drive thru. I waited for them to bring out my order. 4 cars behind me got their order.I went inside to find out where my order was. Asst Mgr Barb, without missing a beat continued filling orders, asked if they had my order.When she got no answer, she asked one of the cooks to make my sandwich.She asked another co-worker if she had coupons. Once my order was ready, she sincerely apologized for the and gave me my food and the coupon. I told her I was impressed with how she made things happen and took care of the situation. She was very professional and was doing an awesome job managing the business.“

“El Barril is a really awesome Mexican joint we found in Mount Adam's in Cincinnati. It had both indoor and outdoor seating but on this day we decided on the inside. The restaurant looks really super fun with lots of tremendous decor with even the chairs being unique (and comfortable too.) They had a lot of unique takes on Mexican dishes (lots of unique burgers on the menu for one) as well as some classic favourites. We started with an appetizer of Buffalo Chicken Dip which was a straightforward take on it. It had lot's of chicken, a very flavourful but not too spicy Buffalo sauce, and some blue cheese mixed in. It was served with chips. This was as good of take as I've had on a Buffalo Dip that I've had from anyplace. For my main course I tried the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos which was 3 hard tacos served with grilled shrimp topped with spicy Bang Bang sauce as well as cilantro. This was very unique but very delicious all the same. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and that sauce I would describe as zesty with a slight punch but not too much. Really liked them a lot. My wife enjoyed her Margarita as well as her food (I believe it was a pork dish but I forgot to take a picture). This was a super fantastic lunch and I for one can't wait to come back.“
