“My husband and I used to frequent this restaurant weekly. Now that he is in a nursing home I still go every chance I get. “Mom” makes the best homemade pies anywhere! Fries rival every fair in the state. You cannot find a better waitstaff anywhere! So friendly they make you feel like family. I am very particular about where I drink coffee. But I know I can always count on a good cup here. If it’s not fresh they’ll make it for ya. Only criticism is they’re not open for late night meals. You have to get those to go. Lol.“
“First I would say that I would give it 4 and a half stars for service and atmosphere. Food was bar food and was ok..not bad but was not blown away either. That said the drinks were really good and they had a nice bourbon selection. I would go back for drinks for sure.“

“Our 1st experience and not a bad one. Very clean atmosphere. Excellent service, very good homemade food. I had one of the Thursday specials, " The Ruben Sandwich, Fries and added a house salad, the sandwich was large and filled. The thousand island was on the side. Have i had better, honestly yes, but this Ruben was in the top 5. The lettuce salad arrived in a small plastic dish with 1 cucumber slice a 1 grape tomato, ( which I cut in two ) lol. Price: $3.50, ouch. My wife ordered chopped steak, med well w/ Fries and house salad. It arrived hot and still juicy. She stated: very good.The menu variety is good and reasonable prices, except the gold salad. Wayside offers many daily specials to choose from and a senior and kids menus.I might add, finish your experience with a piece of the chefs homemade cheesecake.I give it a rating of 4. When we're in the area again. Sure we will make plans to patronize again. Thanks all.“
“We visited this past Sunday on June 4th after we were in the area skydiving. We had really great service and the food was very good. The bartender took care of us very well. I will definitely stop back there next time we're in the area“
“Wish I knew the specials were written on the wall…. I would’ve order any if them. I wasn’t aware so I ended up with a Freddy burger, which was good. My partner got the 22oz steak which was a bit tougher than he would’ve wanted. The dessert was peach cobbler and was the highlight of the meal.“
