“I have been living in North Canton for 6 years and tried many Chinese restaurants. For the first time in 6 years, I have found THE. BEST. CHINESE. AROUND. Hands down the best! Large portions, the staff was nice and the food was fabulous and extraordinary! Yes it was that good. Try, try TRY!!“

All three items tasted amazing.

“Me and a friend visited last night. We witnessed the woman in front of us yell at and berate her young child for “not speaking loud enough when ordering.” When the girl, who couldn’t have been older than 8 and seemed very shy, spoke up, the worker responded in a very kind a polite tone. The woman then proceeded to yell at the worker for “talking to her kid like she was slow.”

The worker, whose name I learned was Kat, did not respond or engage with the woman. She was far more professional than I think I could have been in that situation. Her kindness and patience is something to be commended. Both in her response to the woman, and the way she spoke to that little girl.“

“As a Chinese person and a loyal Mr. Cheng’s customer whenever I’m in the area, I’m giving this very serviceable, immigrant-owned business a resolute five stars. The food is consistently fresh and well-cooked, and the quality of the ingredients, especially the veg, is obvious. (The order: chicken with snow peas and beef and broccoli.) Yes, sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but that’s to be expected of a busy establishment firing dishes to order.

Mr. Cheng’s has earned five stars through its own merit, but I’m doubling down on that rating in context of my identity. Take my word for it and not that of some previous reviewers who are evidently accustomed to ignorance, red 40, and no seasoning.“

“This is the best Chinese place by far the last few years I have been disappointed in other Chinese restaurants lately. We tried this place because we just wanted good Chinese food, But this restaurant is top tier and I don't think I'll go to another Chinese food place again. Food is always supreme taste, hot and fresh. And the lady at the cash register is always very nice. Also sell pop and other food products in their front fridge behind the counter. Can't remember if they have seating but we always get take out. But it's still hot by the time you get it home!“

“I am from out of state. I came into town for a family medical emergency. The motel that I stayed at recommended China Star. I love Chinese food and I am very picky where I eat and especially being from out of town. They delivered fast and the food was the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend them. First time coming here got the chicken lo mein with fried rice, general tso’s chicken with fried rice, 2 pork eggrolls and 10 crab rangoons and it was steaming fresh, piled to the top and extremely tasty & worth the money!! They just gained a regular customer from me!!!“

“We have always enjoyed the quality of the food and how quickly they get our order ready for pick up. I have to say that for the most part, the food is always good but our order yesterday was the best we have ever had. Joey (owner) was working which I have not seen in quite some time. I live in Florida full time now but whenever i come back to Ohio we get Lucky Star. I hope Joey will be more involved at the restaurant again because our food was absolutely amazing!! “As a long islander I can’t say enough how much I loved this Chinese food!! The orange chicken was nice and crunchy with the right amount of sauce, the dumplings were the perfect amount of doughy and the sauce paired with it was perfect! Reminded me of the Chinese food I used to have when I was a kid.

okay let me calm down. I placed a order at 8:45pm not knowing they closed at 9:30. When I say everything was so good and crispy and fresh. No burnt grease, no nasty left over flavor no this shit was amazing to get them today“

“My husband and I love Chinatown Kitchen chinese food. I love the Kung Pao dishes, especially the shrimp. I like mine really hot and spicy and it's perfect every time. My husband likes to try different dishes and has like them all. They give you a lot. No complaints.“

“Actually was really surprised by the quality of this buffet. Also going to skip rate to the point and say that we love sushi and my daughter and I went to this location , and we were actually both impressed with the quality of the sushi they have here , because I have had sushi from other buffets that doesn't even come close to sushi. This place is on par With some of the best sushi i've ever had.
Also , for what it's worth , the gentleman who was making the sushi seemed to be very passionate about it.
The servers were very helpful, Everybody was extraordinarily kind. The only complaint that I had was that our table was placed directly behind a doorway, and it got really drafty.When it was cold and it was warm enough inside to where you didn't want to wear a coat.But then the draft made it cold enough to where you needed to. This has no bearing on the restaurant in any way.In the entire experience was actually phenomenal -epecially for the price.
Bathrooms also seemed clean from what I could tell.“
