They offer great standard Chinese takeout options which our kids love, but the Szechuan dishes are where they really shine. If the menu says it’s spicy, expect the dish to be exceptional!“

“I don't do this often where I write a review about a place but Ming Cheng has been one of the very few Chinese restaurants that have stayed around since I was little. I recently went back. Now that I'm an adult and was welcomed with not only kindness but also warmness from the atmosphere and personality that their food also brings they give amazing size portions for their price. You definitely recommend coming here“

“Surprised at all the low reviews. My portions, including meats, have always been sizable. The flavors have always been great, the egg rolls crisp, the rangoons stuffed. The people are pleasant enough. Not really a place to eat inside, although I've never been uncomfortable when i.had to eat in. They have hot mustard and hot oil both by the individual container. Nice joint to have in Tallmadge!“

“Tried this place for the first time last night and loved it. Higher priced than other places, but the portion sizes are enough for two meals. Everything was freshly prepared. I had the shrimp with pea pods and my husband had the satay beef. The spring rolls were crisp and delicious. Will definitely be back.“

“Today was our first visit. The restaurant is very visually appealing. We had yellow curry with chicken and garlic chicken and the crab rangoon appetizer. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was great, too!! Definitely recommend!!! We will definitely return.“

“OK, this was a surprise. On a biz trip and wanted some beef and broccoli. Randomly found this online and ordered take out. GREAT! Food was delicious and ready fast. Friendly person helped me. Looked around and saw multiple woks, and they had good menu items. Would love to try some other dishes. The dining room is small, but for carry out is was perfect. Avoid the chains, and come here!“

“My wife and I wanted some egg roll and crab rangoon. I have trouble walking because of spinal problems bad knees and bad hips so I was looking for a place that had these items at a drive through... this one did not.. however when I called to find out if they did the lady told us she would bring it out to us,. so I ordered, we picked it up , and she brought it out to us.. she even took my money went in got the change and brought it back. I believe she went over and beyond. she was very nice and accommodating plus the food was excellent. The crab rangoon was probably the best I've ever had.“

“Wanted to try a new Chinese place for our company. Tried a few items beforehand and was impressed. So, I ordered a Friday lunch for 15 people. The order was ready on time and everyone agreed it was better than the last place. They threw in 4 orders of crab rangoon for free. The owner even instructed me on how to transport my order saying I should place it on the car's floor so the bags wouldn't tip over and helped me carry it to my car. Great job!“

I especially love their lunch specials Less than $10 without a tip ( but you should tip ). Lots of food, many could get two meals out of it! “Our original place changed hands and was not good anymore. Tried this place for the first time. Prices were great for the portions. We had samll shrimp lo mein, small veggie lo mien, small pork fried rice and large wonton soup. $26 Everything was very, very tasty. Don’t let the outside deceive you. The food was great. Wonton soup was delicious. My Veg lo mein had mushrooms, onions and broccoli appropriate for the portion. The fried rice was very tasty. It is our new favorite place for food. I should’ve taken more photos, but I will next time. I didn’t realize it would be this good.“

“Best Chinese in the area. Sure it could be better. But out of what other choices there are I'm not going to complain when it's in Lakemore/Springfield area. I will say the last time we went we found a fried fly in the lomain in 1 of our 3 meals. Kinda ended our appetite but that's never happened before. It's hot as you know what there, so I'm sure they leave doors open for ventilation.“

Got to say everything I have ordered Moo Shu Beef, crab ragoons, pork egg roll, mongolian beef, onion rice, and beef lo mein have all been delicous. Whole family approved. “easily my favorite place to get chinese food. last time we ordered, i accidentally chose delivery instead of pickup. they had no problems with me coming to pick it up instead of getting it delivered. and when i chose to leave the delivery tip on the order, the woman giving me my food told me to take 2 sodas! they definitely get busy at peak times, but i don't mind waiting a bit longer for my food if it means they're getting good business! they deserve it!“
