“A unique place to enjoy a delicious pizza with someone special. The pizza can be ordered in thin, regular or thick crust. We got the regular and it was on the thinner side yet very enjoyable. A great amount of toppings. Of course, you get to enjoy this while eating inside of an authentic 1862 covered bridge turned restaurant!”

“My wife and I had dinner here on the last night of our anniversary trip (Tuesday evening), and it was the perfect way to end our stay in Ashtabula. The restaurant is just a quick minute’s walk from the beautiful River Bend Hotel — super convenient!

We didn’t think to make a reservation since Google Maps showed no wait on a Tuesday, but it turned out to be quite busy. We put our name in and walked down to Bridge Street Tavern for a couple of drinks while we waited. Tip for anyone visiting: if you know when you’d like to dine, definitely make a reservation — it’s worth it.

Once seated, we had an excellent experience. The flank steak was phenomenal, and my wife’s salmon was cooked perfectly. Our waitress, Jamie, took great care of us, and we really noticed how well the entire staff worked together — the waitresses and bar team were all covering for one another seamlessly, which made for smooth and attentive service.

Highly recommend stopping at Bascule Bridge Grille when passing through Ashtabula. Great food, great service, and a warm local atmosphere — a perfect spot for any special evening!”

“We had a group of 7 on a holiday weekend and were very impressed with their ability to seat us right away. There is tons of outdoor seating with the tables being far enough away from each other that you don’t feel like you are invading someone else’s dinner. “My first time here was tonight. I got a Gyro combo. So I did not get to eat my food for 45 mins, (driving to our destination and then waited about 20 mins to eat.) but the fries were still crispy and delicious! The gyro….absolutely incredible. The flavors are out of this world. Will be returning because I’d like to try more menu items!!”

“What a great place! After hours of traveling the name is what first caught our attention and the place did not disappoint! A friendly neighborhood pub, incredible staff, ice cold beer, and good hearty food! Kate was friendly, knowledgeable and FUN! It was truly reminiscent of my time in Ireland! “A friend took me here , yesterday September 30, 2025… as she comes to Angela’s a lot when she visits the lake. We spoke to Angela, she care about you individually, she cares about how your food comes out to you, she cares that you come and eat and enjoy the time you have there with them and proves that by never putting the meal ticket/ bill on the table, when you’re done… you simply walk to the register to pay as she never wants you to feel rushed by putting the ticket on your table. She will put any Veterans picture on her walls when you bring it to her , out of respect for veterans! You see that right away by the service flags just outside of her doors! She and her staff are good people, good food, good prices… respect her and others while you’re there, enjoy the pictures on the wall while you watch your food cook and even visit with the people at the table next to you. “My husband and I have been visiting Buccia ever since 2019. We came across this lovely bed and breakfast vineyard when we were looking for somewhere to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We decided to book with them & I am so thankful we booked here. We have continued to come a couple times a year ever since. The wine is AMAZING, the food is tasty & the music is wonderful. Bill and his staff are super welcoming, kind and attentive. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, romantic, and the jacuzzi in the room is a hit. The breakfast they serve is a delicious treat that hits the spot (not too much, not too little). We have enjoyed coming all these years and will continue to do so. I promise if you visit Buccia you’ll never want to leave & you will definitely come back ❤️”

“We have been eating at Los Compadres for many years. We both enjoy the variety of meals and drinks that are available. The service is outstanding from the time you step in the door until you have completed you meal. If you have a large party, you need to let them know because they work really hard to make sure everyone, not just the celebrating party, are served the meals quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

The staff is very friendly and the portions are large enough to almost always have leftoversto get to enjoy another day. Today I tried the cabbage roll and it was just like my Mom used to make (great memory for me) I met so many nice staff members - and they even remember me and what I ordered last time. Pretty cool! “Amazing pizza. My son has celiac. it's a struggle to find decent gluten free crust. Their crust is "the best he's ever had". Regular pizza was great as well. Spumoni bombs for desert are delicious.”
