“Understaffed at the bar on a Friday night. bar server with full bar and she's also serving tables. 15 minutes to get served... and she's also getting drinks for the waitresses... and she didn't have a clue as to why we left... G.M doesn't have a clue either, as you wouldn't allow poor service to exist in your establishment on one of the busiest nights of the week - we took our $165.00 for dinner and drinks elsewhere where service was great ??“
“I've been meaning to come here for a while and finally tried it last night.. Incredible food and experience. The staff is informative but not overbearing- the food is top notch and has something for everyone. We had a few cocktails, meatballs and crabcakes, the gem salad, the risotto and short ribs. Don't skip dessert- we had the carrot cake ice cream sandwich. The ingredients are clearly sourced well and the whole team really shows you that they want you to have an awesome time. Will absolutely be back. Well done!“
“This place was amazing! I took my 18-year-old daughter here for dinner and she tried something new to her. Turns out she wasn't a fan (not because it wasn't good) But simply because they were flavors she wasn't familiar with. As it is with trying anything new, there's a fifty/ fifty chance you won't like it. Needless to say they were very understanding, and accommodating. Mike got our new order in right away, and went out of his way to make sure our experience was a good one. Thank you also to our wonderful server, Bella. For putting up with us with a smile, and making sure we were taken care of from the start. Definitely would recommend, and will definitely be back.“
“Amazing food here in a comfy space.. excellent bartender with the most’est . Just ask her for anything on the top shelf, you won’t regret it..The burger is always excellent as is anything in the specials menu. The staff is incredibly friendly and the chef and kitchen staff are on point with the cooking skillsTry anything on the menu, honestly I don’t think you can be disappointed hereIf you haven’t been here, stop whatever you’re doing and get here now!!!!“
“First time ever @ Crocker Park as we were taken for lunch today at Yard House to celebrate Mother’s Day.Great looking restaurant from the outside and eating areas all around the outside and oh what a massive inside and so clean and welcoming was warm and friendly.A huge shoutout to our waiter Patrick who went above and beyond for service..I had the best coffee ever along with Grilled Cheese and Tomato Bisque-yum to die for..we had appetizers including Bavarian pretzel and Wisconsin Fried Cheese Curds and tried truffle fries and to top it off a mini cheesecake crème brûlée…We’ll definitely be back to this fantastic spot and again thank you Patrick for getting our dessert on you and the wonderful message on our dish..made our day.See you again for sureFive star for suretWell we went again on 4/15 for a celebration with seven of us and the service was so great we tipped 22%.Food was amazing and music was fantastic.Restaurant was booming for near 8pm.Please do yourself a favor and eat here as you’ll be back..“
“I've been here several times and have always had a positive experience, from the friendly service to the delicious food. Today's Easter brunch was no exception; not only did everything on the buffet taste fresh, but the staff continually replenished the food to ensure everyone was able to enjoy it. Our server Dan was also so sweet and made our family outing that much more enjoyable. This place is such a gem in Westlake!“
“Excellent atmosphere and food. There appeared to be some confusion among the servers on several occasions on issues I couldn't discern. Plus, they also appeared a bit harried at times too. As well, the service was a bit "uneven" on several occasions during the meal. And, more specifically, when my table was cleared between courses, silverware was not automatically replenished. Plus, there were noticeable gaps in getting my table cleared between courses.“
“A little hidden gem in Avon Lake, Ohio. Friendly staff and polite hardworking employees everywhere you turn. We made reservations and they were accommodating. It’s a family friendly or date night kind of place. They have a small bar area up front with wine bottles every where, really cool vibes. The fresh bread and garlic butter are amazing. The Chicken Alfredo can easily feed 3-4 people, it’s HUGE! The grouper dish was good too. We had side of shrimp and calamari as well. Next time will save room for those delicious looking desserts. Clean and cozy spot!Parking: Parking lot upfront the restaurant.“
“My Wife and I went to Mahle's Friday the 22nd for our 38th wedding anniversary. because we were eating early we didn't think we would need reservations but upon arrival we were told that with the walk-ins they had and the reservations on the books they were full. We mentioned to Beverly that we had traveled a considerable distance, upon hearing that she found us a perfect spot in the corner of the back dining room. And as always the food and service was excellent.“
“Great experience! The food was really good and Brittany was great. I had the Asiago Chicken salad and my husband had the Smash Burger. Both were delicious. The drinks were also good. Was hard to decide which one to have and Brittany gave great recommendations.“
“Our server Dino was Aaaaaaaamazing!!!! The food was also excellent! Will be visiting again!Vegetarian options: Saw saladsDietary restrictions: They have gluten sensitive options, including dessertKid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and it isn't overpricedWheelchair accessibility: They have tables of varying sizes for wheelchair access“
“The restaurant and service were both nice, but I didn't like my entree (lobster fettuccine). I'm not one to bother and send anything back, but my pasta was way too salty and there was entirely too much sauce/cheese. My appetizer (Buffalo chicken spring rolls) was great and the bread/butter was awesome. I am not sure I would return. But I wouldn't warn against it. Service was and ambiance were really nice.“
“The food here is amazing, I never had tried there drinks but on a beautiful sunny day there drinks are delicious. They’re all fresh and never had something so healthy. After all that I ordered the sweet potato, OMG that was amazing. Come and try there potatoes out!!!“
“Fantastic restaurant. Amazing service. Great knowledge of wine and patience to share their knowledge. Food is awesome and Chef Ron continues to create dishes that make you want to come back again and again. Entertainment is a plus. Every night there's either someone entertaining or fun trivia, movie nights, car shows, clam bakes or paint nights. The patio is the best in town. Fire pit, patio heaters, great woodsy environment. Don't miss out on this gem in your own backyard.“
“Been talking about trying it, finally did. Rotating daily sausage options, recommend the sausage sampler to try some of them. They also have my favorite beer on tap (Kentucky Bourbon Barrell Ale). I tried the Fried Bologna sandwich, it was goodThe wife had the Rib Eye, she said it was outstanding (melts in your mouth). We got the apple pie for 2 to-go, looks great.“
“I went ahead and gave em 5 stars because the Rusty Barre has REALLY good food, great bartenders/servers, Keno and Queen of Hearts!! Parking is somewhat troublesome at times!! But I think the limited parking keeps it from getting too crowded ??Anyway, if you're in the area (Dover Center/Center Ridge) and your tummy is growling or your mouth is dry, stop on in!You won't be disappointed!“
“A young lady at Mark's told me about the trolley house met the owner Jen very nice person and the staff goes along with it we had their hamburgers there all fresh made hand cut fries the wings are awesome the wife and I will be new customers there once again great food highly recommend it“
“Excellent music. Nice people. Danielle is the best bartender I have come across in my life. 2 pool tables, $1.25/game. There are 3 rooms. Last food order goes in at 11, 10:30 grill food 10:30 Sun-Thur. Fri & Sat last food is at 1, grill 12:30. There is a late night menu. They have an outdoor bar and outdoor seating. They are on Touchtunes, Keno, and have an ATM. There is also plenty of room for truckers to park. $10/night or $50/month.“
“Nice, friendly, little neighborhood bar. They don't have many specials to speak of, except for their happy hour, and I was really looking for a place to go watch browns games. I probably won't stop back but I can still recommend it as an everyday bar.“
“I had the Friday special, prime rib and it was very tasty! The sides were good as well. There was live music, and the band played 60's music, so for us older groups, it was great!. If you want to talk while the band is playing, you're better off moving out from the covered patio. Overall, it was a nice experience. If you are going with a group, make a reservation, they were very busy.“
“Very nice workers and atmosphere. The food was super good. The French onion soup is the best I've ever had. It was so good and worth the price. The ribs fell right off the bone and could've fed the whole family. The fries here are no joke. I usually don't take fries home, but these were worthy of an acception. The chicken tenders were fresh and juicy and so were the burgers. For appetizers, we got fried mozzarella and beef nachos. We could've lived without the nachos, but the mozzarella was yummy. They also had homemade chips and French onion dip that were really good. It was hard to pick fries or chips as a side. I would definitely come back here.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu with plenty to choose from.“
“The absolute definition of a true restaurant of class. From the valet, to the greeter, to the waitress, Julie, absolutely exceptional service. The presentation of the food automatically brings a smile to one's eyes. The seasoning and quantity you could tell was actually made with love. A chef who really enjoys his work. Thanks To all the staff“
“I had their chili it was so good I purchased one to go, I want to try their burgers they look great, they have $3.00 off of the burgers on Mondays !! The bar tenders are great as well , always smiling & outgoing!! They have pool tables & dart boards, which are great! The only bad thing I would comment on is late at night, (if you don't like rap I wouldn't go there, but there are people that do ), your choice, I see a lot of the younger generation up there, having a great time, and that is all that matters. It is a fun & safe place to go to !! Highly recommend this place, especially during the Browns games, you have the best fans ,ever !!“
“We easily booked reservations for two for Saturday night, even though we called Saturday at noon. We requested the Beef Wellington when booking the reservation, and there was exactly one left when we arrived so maybe they saved it for us. We were seated immediately upon arrival, at a cozy (but tight) table near the fire. The wait staff was friendly, albeit a bit inattentive. There were a lot of people in the restaurant when we arrived, so I think that contributed to it. Also, there were quite a few challenging guests. I'm sure that put them on edge. But we were accommodated well enough. Thanks Olivia. I especially appreciate her arranging that virgin Moscow Mule. It was absolutely fabulous. It seems that the bar can certainly make a good cocktail! On to the food. My wife's beef wellington was delicious. The flavors were spot on and the pastry was perfectly baked. The steak however was a little overcooked. It was more medium, than medium rare. Fortunately, the meat was clearly well selected so it was still tender. My duck on the other hand was not good and I strongly discourage ordering it. It would have benefitted from slightly less time in the oven. The crispy honey glaze was underwhelming. Quite frankly, the dish lacked flavor. I’ll the pork next time.Overall our experience was a positive one, and I feel confident about recommending it. This is a place that has a good atmosphere but doesn’t make too much fuss about itself. It stands on its food and it stands well. Based on the rest, I think the duck is an outlier and not a true representation of their quality.Parking: The parking lot is a little small for all the people they can accommodate in the restaurant.“
“It was good to find a small diner that was open on a Monday. Many small businesses we tried were closed. The waitresses were very friendly and thorough. Our drinks were refilled without asking. Our order was taken quickly but the food took a while to come out. The food was hot and tasty and worth the wait. My friend had the Big Egg omelette. It was a very large portion and filled with plenty of meat and veggies served with a side of hash browns. I had the garden skillet which was eggs over red skinned potatoes. The veggies were peppers, onions, mushrooms and spinach. Very fresh tasting and large enough portions. Prices here are very affordable. This place is definitely worth a try. They don't only serve breakfast.“
“This has been a crazy extended weekend. Shary and I drove out to Lorain for the eclipse and started having mystical experiences before we were even halfway to the Ariel Hotel. For example, Shary saw a road sign for an attraction that kind of reminded us of that Frank Lloyd Wright house, Falling Waters. She plops that into the GPS and BAM! GPS says turn right at the next exit. So we get to see that. On the way there we pass a place we went white water rafting! Great memories. And of course, Falling Waters is rad. Anyway, we get to the hotel and the weekend just gets stranger. So fun. Everyone is all spazzing out about the eclipse. We meet a clothing designer. Whatever. So yeah. Back to this spot. Eclipse done. Fancy dinner for us vacationers? An internet search suggested this spot would be worth the 25 min drive from Lorain. And it was. Oysters. Cooked dates. Good drinks. Very good end to an extended weekend!“
