“You can't beat Mom's! We found this place via google maps as we were passing through the area. We got there early, the place was relatively quiet. We were seated right away. They have a number of specials and breakfast combos. The food came out hot and the portions were large. The service was good. There is also a ton of parking and it is easily accessible from the major roads.“

“First time here, would come more often if I lived closer. Plenty of choices, food was good, even food going to other tables looked good. Will be my go-to restaurant with when I come up. Will recommend to other local friends. Nice to see small local businesses doing well. Try it!! Employees all very friendly. Don't forget to check out the "specials board".“

“Perfect place for breakfast like mom used to make. They have all of your favorite breakfast foods here, along with plenty of hot coffee. They also have a decent lunch menu with the traditional offerings, all fresh and plentiful. During lent they have all you can eat fish with two sides of your choice ( fries, pierogi, MAC & cheese, coleslaw ) plus soup or salad on Wednesday and Friday for about $14.00. I've been in twice so far this season! What is best about this place is the great service. Everyone is friendly and the servers are attentive. It's a small, unassuming place that seems like family, one of Brook Parks best!“

“First time here (previously Sal's Diner), ordered carry out by phone. Large parking area in back. Small old school diner inside, can see the cook working feverishly in front of the counter seats. Maybe another 8 booths for seating. This is owned by the previous owners of Steve's 24hr Diner on Biddulph Road, that recently closed. This is about the same, open 24 hours and breakfast all day. The employees were pleasant and my order was perfect. I really enjoy their breakfast here and the famous chili dogs. For 2 breakfasts and 4 chili dogs came out to $22. You really can't beat that price anywhere. Give this place a try you won't be disappointed.“

“Great neighborhood place to grab breakfast or lunch. This place is clean and the staff is attentive. I highly recommend the Banana Pecan Pancakes... yum! They must have a good exhaust fan because you don't smell like breakfast when you leave.“

“We got there at the busiest part of the day Sunday and all the staff were hustling! It seems to be a really popular place most likely because the food is so good! Sure had me thinking about dinner at Grandma's oh so many decades ago.Kid-friendliness: 100% family friendly!Wheelchair accessibility: Shouldn't be a problem.“

“A small intimate space, Charlie's is the real deal. An authentic gem that still delivers a great diner experience, good breakfast food with cheerful service. The corn beef hash is simply excellent - maybe the best in years of diners. The eggs and sausage are standard fare delivered quickly and with a hugely friendly touch. Honestly, at the counter I felt like I had been coming for years, they were so nice. I'd come back anytime - and I think there are a few who do so every day. It is quirky and credible but it is also great, with plenty of parking and even if you have to take the highway briefly as we did from downtown... it was ten minutes and worth every moment of the drive - and that would be true if it was twice as far. Drive and pat yourself on the back for doing it right.“

“I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant that I didn't even know was here (despite living in the area for 7 years). It has a simply but comfy dining area and our waitress was very nice and attentive. I was worried at first because the coffee was mediocre (hence 4 stars on food) but then I got my food and everything was plenty tasty. I also give them high marks for very reasonable prices (the food in my picture was only $8) and also an A+ for presentation!“

“been going there for years for a friend lunch. Good, solid, short order cooking. I've never had anything I didn't like. Service is quick and the staff is friendly and efficient. One of my favorites was their liver and onions. I like to order it when I see it on the menu at any restaurant, I don't often see it, and it's often overcooked. It was perfectly done at Royal Lunch, to my taste, very flavorful and tender. They were starting to clean up for closing, so it was quiet. I sent my kudos to the cook, and he came out and we talked for awhile about how our mothers and grandmothers cooked liver, and other dishes as well, that we learned to cook at their knees. Such a pleasant experience and memory.“
