“I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!“

“We went to the VIP tasting and everything was absolutely delicious!! It was so good we went back the next day on the official opening for dinner! Everything we ordered was fantastic! “It's a college bar. Not much more to say about that.Not to bad on weekdays. Its a nice bar to stop and have a drink after work. And maybe shoot gave a pool. Dont try to play pool though on the weekends when the college kids are in. Because they use it as a table to sit on and put drinks on and spill things on and lay down and take a nap on and puke on.“
