“Me & 2 friends got meals to go. The food was good, the ice tea was good, and they even let us take some of the free ice cream to go. I had the beef brisket, baked beans, roll , and sweet tea -plus my ice cream to go. Everything was good, but for the cost portion sizes were just average. It wasn’t my first time and I will eat here again.“

“Wow! What a great place- and extremely authentic for this area of the country. I went for the Dan Dan noodles- and they did not disappoint! I overlooked the hand stretched noodle version, but tried it the next time I was nearby. Perfect noodle texture and consistency, seasonings were just right. “We were passing through and stopped at this location on a very busy Friday night around 9pm. Katie was our server and she did an amazing job. Kudos to the chefs, as our food was delicious - it was hot and the seasonings were on point! I've been so disappointed with the location by our house and was blown away with our experience at this location tonight. Katie kept refills coming without prompting and kept our table cleared as we finished eating, which is very much appreciated. I worked at a Texas Roadhouse in college and tonight's experience brought back happy memories!“

“2 for 2 - Great BBQ! This is my second trip to City BBQ in a two week span and I have not been disappointed. First off - fantastic brisket! Tender, perfect amount of smoke, melts in your mouth. And the Texas Pastrami sandwich was just off the hook! Fall part tender. My wife loved the coleslaw and mac and cheese (plus the cornbread) - she's a vegetarian but there was more than enough on the menu to keep her happy. And we are both over the moon for the Peach Cobbler. Hands down one of the best desserts ever! I'm a believer and I'm thrilled I can get good BBQ close by. “I love the atmosphere of this City BBQ! The food is always hot and fresh, and the salad is so crispy and delicious! I always recommend the Lolo's Pulled Pork Sandwich!! It's so so good! “We rented a grill from Don for our little league event and due to weather we canceled and rescheduled for the following weekend. We were rained out the following weekend too. Don drove it down to us in Hamilton Township. He was so nice, professional and his customer service level is beyond compare. We plan to use him again for more events. The way he handled our interactions and the care he showed our group in both the delivery and pick up of the grill exemplified the reason small businesses are so important and willNever die! “I ordered two meats, ribs and brisket.. never again.. the ribs weren't even edible.. they were like days old and maybe even cooked twice.. so tough I couldn't chew them.. and brisket was burnt what little I could get threw had chunks of fat all over it. it's like they cut it off and then put the fat back on the plate to look like more food.. not impressed at all. $30 for a meal I couldn't or wouldn't eat.“

“Jade (Manager) did a fantastic job of taking care of our meal since we had issues with our Valentine's Day takeout order. Victoria (Server) also did a fantastic job with our services and checked back regularly to make sure we were satisfied. My wife had a T-bone and I had the Outlaw Ribeye. Both steaks were the best steaks ever and they were cooked perfectly. Jade surprised us with a delicious cheese cake dessert for our 50th Wedding Anniversary and it was fantastic. If you are reading yelp reviews, this place might not be for you. The food is amazing, the prices are more than fair, but if your collar isn't blue, this might not be the place for you. White Collar? tuck in your tie and enjoy! Good people serving hard working people Amazing breakfasts and lunches. and wings... Not fancy or pretty, but damn fine service, damn fine food and Great staff. Plus, if you wanna bitch, Vinney is usually at the front counter , (but you might want to make sure the complaint is legitimate...) . Advice: just dont be a shit head and enjoy yourself“

“Love this little food trailer bbq...Mr Ed is the nicest man..and some of the best bbq in dayton.. Big Ed is definitely A Must Check Out... I try to stop there at least twice a month. My grandson loves it too. It's a special treat for my fifteen year old grandson after school... Fyi...1 If the weather's bad snow or rain or just too cold Big Ed will not be there that day....“

“Been going there regularly, and they have great music, the food is authentic and reasonably priced, and the staff is chill. The only negative is the service. It is beyond terrible. One hour to get a beer? I could understand if it was one bad night, but it's all the time. I feel bad for the girls running the drinks, because the system there just sucks.“
