“We’ve been going to Isa for a while, so when we started planning our wedding, she was honestly our first and only choice. Yes, her pastries are out of this world and I could wax poetic on them - specifically the sweet potato one, look if you know you know - but this review is for the absolute masterpiece of a wedding cake that she put together for us. Because we’re long standing customers, we actually ended up doing both the spring/summer and the fall/winter tasting boxes. There is no wrong answer here, every single cake she makes is delicious, but we ended up going with the pretty traditional almond raspberry with the raspberry jam. It’s sweet, it’s decadent, and it was a huge hit with our guests. And god, just look at it! So beautiful! 100% worth it, choose Isa and Three Bites for all your pastry and cake needs!“

“The Bacon Egg Breakfast Sandwich was absolutely delicious! We split one between the two of us and were not disappointed. The price($10) was a bit high, but after eating it, I understand why. “Cute little cafe in downtown! I walked here from my hotel after reading about this Lemon Aioli and Rosemary-Lemon Sausage, I knew I had to have it. I placed my order online and headed over. It's super cute and isn't incredibly busy in the area where it's located. It also has its own parking lot which is a plus! My order was ready as soon as I arrived. I ordered the Rosemary Breakfast Sammich. Yum! Totally unique and unlike any breakfast sandwich I've had. Super flavorful, and the marriage of the flavors betwixt the fresh baked croissant bun. Chef's kiss! I also ordered a regular drip coffee. It was tasty! The cafe itself is adorable and cozy, but bright and happy. I also really loved reading about (and supporting!) their mission. Swing by here while you're in the area and have one of their elevated breakfast staples. You won't be disappointed!“

The brownies were just as good.The online order process was easy, and there's the option for delivery, or pickup. “Good macarons are hard to come by, but Macaron Bar in Short North has some delicious macarons! They make everything in house from scratch and I can tell they take great pride in delivering a great macaron! I ordered a pistachio macaron and my first bite had the initial crunch of the top and bottom layer. Then came the chewy/doughy of the macaron as I continued to chew my scrumptious macaron. It had the right amount of sweetness and I could taste the pistachio flavor. Wow. Will be back again!“

Absolutely delicious red velvet cake and the design we asked for was replicated PERFECTLY, such a beautiful cake.We also had some last minute schedule changes for cake pick up and we did not have any issues updating the pick up time- we so appreciated the flexibility!Our only comment is that it would be nice to have an actual cake slice tasting instead of trying cake balls because it was a little bit different texture.“

“By recommendation, I popped by Bake Me Happy to find a good treat. I ended up with a coffee cake muffin. It had cinnamon inside and frosting on top. The appearance was fantastic. I'm not used to gluten free, but I'm trying.So that I could eat it immediately, I got a chair out of my hatch and sat right there in the parking lot to enjoy it. It's cool to get a feel for the neighborhood.These guys have all sorts of ground coffee, gluten-free beer, tea, dry goods and refrigerated items, along with actual coffee shop items.This building used to be an old post office. They moved to this location about 2 years ago. It's a mile or so from the old spot, but has way better car and foot traffic. “This is top 2 best bakeries coming from a CA girly. My first time visiting Ohio and we came back 3 times in a week. The minimal design showcasing all the fantastic desserts was beautiful. We had the pistachio tart, chocolate bombe & crème brûlée eclair. I DIED! The eclair was our favorite, perfect execution of texture and sweetness. Its a must if you're debating on what to choose. The tart was next fav and chocolate bombe was good but I prefer cake over a mousse. Tried all the seasonal drinks. The honey butter latte was the winner. Staff is professional and friendly. The cherry on top would be if there were more seating inside or outside. Im obsessed with this place and it'll always be a non-negotiable when I visit.“

“I can't say enough great things about The Cakehound! My dog was the ring bearer in my wedding so we had a special cake made for him for the big day. Not only was it GORGEOUS and matched our theme but Teresa also catered the ingredients to suit my sensitive dog's dietary requirements. I don't know how she managed to make a raw-incorporated cake look so beautiful but she did it! He went absolutely bonkers for the cake and it added a fun, special touch that all of our guests loved. “My Husband & I are so grateful to Woodhouse Vegan for hosting & catering our intimate 40 person wedding in September 2022. My husband and I are both vegan, and found the prospect of finding vegan catering for our small wedding daunting. We were thrilled that Woodhouse, one of the best vegan restaurants in Columbus, was open to not only catering our wedding, but also hosting it! Carla & the entire Woodhouse team made our big day incredible!! They did a fantastic job communicating prior to the wedding- we spoke via email, text, phone, and in person at the Woodhouse space. They answered all of our questions & provided helpful suggestions for how the night should run. On the day of our wedding they were flexible and provided us the stress-free easy going atmosphere we were hoping for. Carla kindly whispered a few things in our ears as the night went on letting us know how the bar tab was doing and to check in prior to serving each course. We had so much fun! The entire Woodhouse team helped us craft a delicious multi-course meal that our vegan and non-vegan guests loved. Their drinks were also fantastic! They happily catered to a few picky eaters on the guest list, as well as provided some non-alcoholic options for our non-drinking guests. The atmosphere was gorgeous, as always, and we were thrilled to use both the patio and indoor space. With 40 guests the space felt lively but not crowded. We even had space to install a small archway in the patio for the ceremony. We’re so grateful to the whole Woodhouse team for all they did to make our dream wedding day come to life!“

The prices are surprisingly reasonable (not boutique/cafe prices for an individual item). “I've been buying the bread and buckeye's from The Candied Cottage for almost a year now. The breads are moist full of flavor, they freeze great and tastes as good as when you purchased them. The buckeyes have a great chocolate taste, I have purchased the dark and milk chocolate buckeyes. They also freeze great and they taste even better frozen.I think I have bought every flavor of bread and buckeye that Candise has made and they never disappoint.“

Located just outside Grandview Heights, this place is very charming and has great service. Everything is made fresh. Biscuits were delicious and the sammy was satisfying. I got the egg, cheese, and sausage on a regular biscuit and really enjoyed it. We also got the special of the day with a jalapeño biscuit. It was very good and left you with a little zing. They also serve Stauf's coffee which I feel is one of the best in the city. Cute little area in the shop for eating or you can eat outside in a nice area. They even have a fire pit. I am sure you will be happy if you give them a try.“

The location is right off the side of the road, but has a cute little outdoor seating area and is dog friendly. During the summer, my dog and I would go hear to enjoy the sun and a yummy treat. The staff are always friendly and loved seeing my dog. He would sometimes get a free treat! A way to get a cheaper whitser is to order the flavor of the weak or day! The scoops are cheaper than if you make or order your own. I highly recommend this place. Also, I keep tabs on the best things I've tried throughout Columbus so far and their german chocolate flavor made the week. If they have this flavor you must try it if you enjoy chocolate, coconut and caramel together. IT'S ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!“

“I pre ordered a large order of pastry items for a special event that took place yesterday. I am not from Arlington and was shocked by how many customers were coming and going on an ordinary Wednesday afternoon. I selected an assortment that included the Rasberry Bar, Rasberry Tea Cake, Bear Claw, Butterscotch Rolls and Cinnamon Sticks. I was stuck by how nicely they were boxed, so as to not crush or break. Our guests gobbled everything ...the tray that had more than enough for everyone was emptied..and I had numerous questions about where I got the bakery items. Several of the guests commented their plans to make a "road trip" together to come back for more. It's hard to find a bakery like this anymore. Most big box stores only carry the run of the mill cookie, cupcake and donuts. While they also offer those items here, if you want something different...you can find it here and it will be delicious.“

“Went here to get our " ordinary cake day" cause my husband and daughter loves their cake here as always owner is so nice,I was looking for just a 6" cake for an ordinary cake day for us, they didn't have it but they have the 8" available.. owner decided to give the 8" with discount.. “Incredibly sweet owner with very tasty doughnuts (the doughnut sticks are the best in the Hilltop!). The cookies are delicious, sometimes on the crunchy/chewy side but always tastes amazing and perfect with a cup of coffee or warm hot chocolate. You can also go in and make custom orders, as Terry makes adorable cakes (I've gotten cakes with wildflowers, ghosts, and Kirby so far)! I'm grateful to have such a lovely little bakery so close to home <3“
