“For anyone curious, there is a new bakery in the space. Vget Bakery & Cafe is currently having a soft open and plans to be fully open early May. They serve egg toast, rice balls, and Hong Kong style milk tea. They will be serving coffee once they fully open. The food I've tried so far is great and I'm looking forward to the grand opening!“

“I pre ordered a large order of pastry items for a special event that took place yesterday. I am not from Arlington and was shocked by how many customers were coming and going on an ordinary Wednesday afternoon. I selected an assortment that included the Rasberry Bar, Rasberry Tea Cake, Bear Claw, Butterscotch Rolls and Cinnamon Sticks. I was stuck by how nicely they were boxed, so as to not crush or break. Our guests gobbled everything ...the tray that had more than enough for everyone was emptied..and I had numerous questions about where I got the bakery items. Several of the guests commented their plans to make a "road trip" together to come back for more. It's hard to find a bakery like this anymore. Most big box stores only carry the run of the mill cookie, cupcake and donuts. While they also offer those items here, if you want something different...you can find it here and it will be delicious.“

Yes, her pastries are out of this world and I could wax poetic on them - specifically the sweet potato one, look if you know you know - but this review is for the absolute masterpiece of a wedding cake that she put together for us. Because we’re long standing customers, we actually ended up doing both the spring/summer and the fall/winter tasting boxes. There is no wrong answer here, every single cake she makes is delicious, but we ended up going with the pretty traditional almond raspberry with the raspberry jam. It’s sweet, it’s decadent, and it was a huge hit with our guests. And god, just look at it! So beautiful! 100% worth it, choose Isa and Three Bites for all your pastry and cake needs!“

“The absolute most delicious cinnamon rolls you have ever tasted!! Get there early because 1) they are hot out of the oven and 2) they sell out. The icing is creamy and not overly sweet. You don't feel like you have a mouth full of sugar. Also, they keep well on the counter. Just a quick microwave in the morning and they are fresh and hot again!“

“The Bacon Egg Breakfast Sandwich was absolutely delicious! We split one between the two of us and were not disappointed. The price($10) was a bit high, but after eating it, I understand why. “Was craving some bingsoo (Korean shaved ice) and luckily was able to find some at Tea Zone Bakery! They have regular fruit bingsoo and snowflake ice bingsoo on the weekend! It was refreshing with a variety of fruits, sweet red bean, little rice cakes, and vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. They also have a plethora of freshly baked Korean style cakes and breads ranging from soboru (my personal favorite ) to red bean buns and fried donuts. Would love to see if they can do a red bean filled soboru bun! I was surprised by how good the fried donut was - super soft and filled with sweet red bean inside. If you're a chestnut lover, I also recommend the chestnut soboru bun. It had chunks of chestnuts inside and was not too sweet. If you're a savory person or need a meal, they also serve ramen There are plenty of seats inside and the interior has such a classic, homey feel to it. They even have traditional Korean style seating! The workers are also very sweet and friendly. Definitely a place I would go back whenever the sweets craving hits!“

“A Japanese French bakery in CBUS? Pinch me! If it were only closer to home. Maybe it's a blessing though, because everything is sooo good. Try the made-to-order crèpes, they're very good, I love their almond croissants & mango mousse cake, their sandwiches, breads, everything I tried was done well and with great intention to detail. “Good macarons are hard to come by, but Macaron Bar in Short North has some delicious macarons! They make everything in house from scratch and I can tell they take great pride in delivering a great macaron! I ordered a pistachio macaron and my first bite had the initial crunch of the top and bottom layer. Then came the chewy/doughy of the macaron as I continued to chew my scrumptious macaron. It had the right amount of sweetness and I could taste the pistachio flavor. Wow. Will be back again!“

“Cute little cafe in downtown! I walked here from my hotel after reading about this Lemon Aioli and Rosemary-Lemon Sausage, I knew I had to have it. I placed my order online and headed over. It's super cute and isn't incredibly busy in the area where it's located. It also has its own parking lot which is a plus! My order was ready as soon as I arrived. I ordered the Rosemary Breakfast Sammich. Yum! Totally unique and unlike any breakfast sandwich I've had. Super flavorful, and the marriage of the flavors betwixt the fresh baked croissant bun. Chef's kiss! I also ordered a regular drip coffee. It was tasty! The cafe itself is adorable and cozy, but bright and happy. I also really loved reading about (and supporting!) their mission. Swing by here while you're in the area and have one of their elevated breakfast staples. You won't be disappointed!“

Anand worked with our group to provide a wonderful atmosphere for our event. The staff were attentive and very professional in their assistance. Absolutely delicious red velvet cake and the design we asked for was replicated PERFECTLY, such a beautiful cake.We also had some last minute schedule changes for cake pick up and we did not have any issues updating the pick up time- we so appreciated the flexibility!Our only comment is that it would be nice to have an actual cake slice tasting instead of trying cake balls because it was a little bit different texture.“

“By recommendation, I popped by Bake Me Happy to find a good treat. I ended up with a coffee cake muffin. It had cinnamon inside and frosting on top. The appearance was fantastic. I'm not used to gluten free, but I'm trying.So that I could eat it immediately, I got a chair out of my hatch and sat right there in the parking lot to enjoy it. It's cool to get a feel for the neighborhood.These guys have all sorts of ground coffee, gluten-free beer, tea, dry goods and refrigerated items, along with actual coffee shop items.This building used to be an old post office. “My husband and I came in for the first time fri night around 7. The person working the counter was so sweet! They explained each dessert to us and even gave us some samples. The original baklava just came out fresh and we were able to get a taste of that and it was so delicious I could taste hints of rose water. The shop was clean and very chic. “This is top 2 best bakeries coming from a CA girly. My first time visiting Ohio and we came back 3 times in a week. The minimal design showcasing all the fantastic desserts was beautiful. We had the pistachio tart, chocolate bombe & crème brûlée eclair. I DIED! The eclair was our favorite, perfect execution of texture and sweetness. Its a must if you're debating on what to choose. The tart was next fav and chocolate bombe was good but I prefer cake over a mousse. Tried all the seasonal drinks. The honey butter latte was the winner. Staff is professional and friendly. The cherry on top would be if there were more seating inside or outside. Im obsessed with this place and it'll always be a non-negotiable when I visit.“

“I can't say enough great things about The Cakehound! My dog was the ring bearer in my wedding so we had a special cake made for him for the big day. Not only was it GORGEOUS and matched our theme but Teresa also catered the ingredients to suit my sensitive dog's dietary requirements. I don't know how she managed to make a raw-incorporated cake look so beautiful but she did it! He went absolutely bonkers for the cake and it added a fun, special touch that all of our guests loved. “My Husband & I are so grateful to Woodhouse Vegan for hosting & catering our intimate 40 person wedding in September 2022. My husband and I are both vegan, and found the prospect of finding vegan catering for our small wedding daunting. We were thrilled that Woodhouse, one of the best vegan restaurants in Columbus, was open to not only catering our wedding, but also hosting it! Carla & the entire Woodhouse team made our big day incredible!! They did a fantastic job communicating prior to the wedding- we spoke via email, text, phone, and in person at the Woodhouse space. THIS is the Japanese-focused market, and outstanding for its range and quality. Whether you are looking for fresh sashimi-grade seafood, frozen Berkshire pork for hotpot, noodles, sauces, spices, kitchen tools, cutlery, dishes... the list just goes on and on, and it's all here. 6 stars.“

However, I've tried a few of the others, and they're not bad.The service at this location is pretty good. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my order, even when they were busy. The ordering process is pretty simple. There are ordering kiosks available, or you can place an online order, which speeds thing up even more.My only issue is that you are forced to buy their massive cookies every time. They have smaller cookies, but they're only available with their catering. These should be available as purchase options as well.Other than that, I would recommend them if you're looking to satisfy that sweet craving.“

“I'm very split on this place. I love that they clearly use high quality ingredients. I love that they have creative baked goods and breakfast/brunch items. I love the decor. However it is very expensive. Which would be fine, except half of the time (out of 4-5 times) I have gotten a meal here it has been bland. If I order a ham biscuit with horseradish sauce, that should have a ton of flavor, but lo and behold, somehow that happened (although the biscuits have always been consistently good). Where do you buy bland ham from? The service is generally quite dry... I always kind of get the impression that I'm an inconvenience. The employees aren't overtly mean or disrespectful, but they don't really do much to make the place feel welcoming. Again, that'd be fine if it weren't for the lack of consistency and the prices. However their desserts have always been very good, and I always like to see what seasonal pie they are doing. It's hard for me not to step in and buy a slice when I'm walking by on the sidewalk. You'd find me coming here much more often if they could make their breakfast/brunch consistently good enough to justify the high prices.“

“I've been buying the bread and buckeye's from The Candied Cottage for almost a year now. The breads are moist full of flavor, they freeze great and tastes as good as when you purchased them. The buckeyes have a great chocolate taste, I have purchased the dark and milk chocolate buckeyes. They also freeze great and they taste even better frozen.I think I have bought every flavor of bread and buckeye that Candise has made and they never disappoint.“
