“Food is impressively good! The specials were eye opening along with the dipping sauces. This is a great place that actually seasons their burgers as well as taking pride in their knife skills- the perogies topped with beautifully caramelized small dice onion and that is difficult to accomplish. The burger patty wasn't overworked so it didn't become chewy. The special of sausage and zucchini soup also had exhibited this excellent knife work, and also show cased the skill of balancing flavor. The level of precision and attention to details of care for food is locally some what difficult to find!“

“Been out of state for 5 years was looking forward to eating here again. Food is still pretty good. Nice waitress that let us move to a table when it became apparent my elderly guests wasn't going to be able to get in or out of the booth.

Parking: It's a local parking lot and not dedicated to just the restaurant. Any local event fills it up fast. Get there early.“

“MBAG (Mike's Bar and Grill) is a great spot for some good drinks and food. It can be pretty busy inside depending on when you get there. Also, be aware that the owner is trying to correct the kitchen time on Google, but the kitchen closes at 9p, not 10p throughout the whole week! I usually get the chicken parm sandwich (which is stellar!) but tried the august porkbelly blt taco special. It was honesty very underwhelming. I subbed regular mayo for the Sriracha, but the real issue was the micro sliver of meat. I could barely taste. And I'm saying it was like a quarter piece of bacon but pork belly instead. Anyways, the other food at the table was delicious (except the fresh cut fries were a tad undercooked). Only other thing to mention is that the patio is lovely! But, if you get seated at a high top under the umbrellas, and it gets dark, there are no lights. And it's pretty dark, to the point where it's hard to see your meal. Service was very good, very friendly! Great place and definitely frequent a couple times a month.“

“The food and restaurant were great! The bathrooms were absolutely horrible. They were very dirty and not at all maintained. I felt like I was back at a college bar. There was no soap in the containers, just a hand soap bottle left on the sink that was uncomfortable to even touch. No paper towels, very little toilet paper. The floor was littered. The walls had graffiti. I was so disappointed and the condition made me worry about what the kitchen looked like. For a restaurant in Crocker park, where the prices were high, should not have a restroom that looks like that! It's not like they were too busy to get to it either as there were only two or three tables filled with customers to take care of. Thus will keep me from going to this place again.“

“been coming here since I turned 21 (almost 23) by far the best prices, best service, amazing pizza and hot dogs, great pool tables, touch tunes, and vape vending machine. “What a great place! My wife's been here several times before but this was my first chance to join her. I love the space and the concept, and the owner was super friendly and answered my many questions about the business and the beer.
One thing that pleasantly surprised me was that there were several beers that I would have never ordered normally, but since it was by the ounce I was able to do a lot of sampling and found that I enjoyed a couple more than I would have guessed. Great place to expand your beer palate!“

“I tried this place for the first time and EVERYTHING was amazing!!! The decor when you walk in. I came on a Thursday and they have karaoke night ! I thought that was cool and I didn’t know this initially. I came for the restaurant/rooftop. We went upstairs and they had a good playlist of songs , the food was amazing !!!! Absolutely delicious. I order the fire roasted shrimp as appetizer and it was so good when the veggies !! Although it said fire it wasn’t hot at all. It was Made just right . I ordered the chicken and waffles as my entree . Chicken was cooked perfect and the hot honey syrup was good as well . We also order the BBW wings and fries which were good too. I tried the green apple slushy mixed with the peach one and added my choice of liquor ! Delicious!!! Our sever Tone was great ! I will definitely be back. It’s a LBGTQ restaurant and they have drag brunch on Sundays ! I’ll be going to check it out . I’ve always wanted to go to one and now I do ??“

“Franks is a place you go where everyone knows your name. I haven’t met a regular or anyone that has ever been rude in this bar. My dad brought me here when it was Water Tower Pizza.

This should be your first stop (pregame) or maybe your last (postgame)

The one thing I know about this place- is even if the jukebox is a bit out of whack. No one will ever make you feel like you are not welcome.

And to that person that said I owned the jukebox/ damn right I did- and why didn’t you play a song? Either get in the game or sit back and watch!“

“My wife and I wandered into this place on a Sunday night after a concert at Baldwin-Wallace University. Nothing else was open and we weren't sure what we would find. What we found was an incredibly welcoming place. The kitchen was closed so we ordered drinks, which were fantastic. After talking with the bartender, and sharing our respective heritages of Poland and Alabama, he kindly fired up the grill and prepared a special batch of pierogis. They were the best pierogis I had had since childhood. Many thanks for the warm hospitality and excellent food and drink. “Great prices. Simple bar with a touch tunes jukebox. Small patio out back. Maybe not the safest place- twice when we came in there was a fight going on, once a physical fight. We saw the same people almost every time. The bartender is a nice guy. This place is right next to my old boyfriends apartment so we went down for late night drinks a lot and half the time it was closed at midnight. Despite its flaws, it was a nice place for me and my boyfriend to sip, talk and not spend a lot. We were always treated nicely by the bartender as well.“

“As far as hotel bars go, this one was pretty good! Nice sitting areas both inside and outside. Free pool table inside too! Prices were good as far as hotel bars go. I think beers were four or five bucks. Only downfall was you were not allowed to bring drinks down from your hotel room. (Unless it was in a cup) That's probably a standard rule, but some places let it slide. Overall an excellent experience!“
