“Quiet little suburb dive bar thats been around for years and definitely shows. Large beverage selection with friendly bartenders and staff. Summertime this place really picks up with its sand volleyball courts and outside bar/patio. Great spot for fundraisers or events due to it large dining space and stage area. Killer Karaoke crowd on the weekends shows off some serious local talent. Stop by and enjoy a cold one.

Vegetarian options: Two words: French Fries

Parking: Plenty of parking especially after 6pm

Kid-friendliness: Kids can play on volleyball court and eat chicken tendies.

Wheelchair accessibility: First floor joint with several entrances/exits. No stairs in sight.“

“We spent some time at The Christmas Story House, Gift Shop and museum. The Rowley Inn is right on the same corner and was AMAZING! We went to get a seat oround 3:45pm and they got a table of 7 right in for us! Food, price and staff was so great! Will definitely come back!!!“

Took him yesterday for his birthday, we are both still talking about it today. He told me he told multiple people at work about it and has been thinking about your cannolis all day and I have been too, best I've ever had. Ever single thing from cocktails to dessert to atmosphere is absolutely amazing, I, we cannot brag about you guys enough! Classy cocktail menu, the char sour and classic old fashioned are a must try. You're selection of bourbon for bourbon lovers is top notch too! Last the food, beet salad, lobster rolls, cassoulet pie are to die for 🤌 have to talk about the cannolis again, one pistachio and one chocolate chip, don't snooze on those if you go! My biggest compliments to the chef. We will definitely be back.“

Sat outside because it was a nice night, but the service was non existent, and unfortunately there were two guys smoking cigars near us that nobody seemed to want to do anything about, lol...“

I like the vibe but my girlfriend thought it was divey and smelled like piss so maybe leave your woman at home! “

Never mind the big sigh and eye roll as we sat down AND still wasn't told Hi. 1 hour for food. okay Its a Friday night we understand. Our fries were soggy a cold. chicken tenders cold. wings cold. It def was sitting up there waiting a while to be brought out. We said something she said it was our fault for going outside for 5 mins. We know the difference between food sitting for awhile before being served. Extremely disappointed. We will be back but maybe when someone else is working.“

“Visited Gen's 176 for the first time this evening. It may not look like much from the outside but the place is clean and the food is really good. They have a nice size menu with a variety of choices. The pierogi are large and filled with potato and cheese (they also have other varieties). My companion had a mushroom burger. It was a 1/2 pound with lots of toppings and the tots that came with were hot and tasty. I had a veggie quesadilla full of cheese, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes (I passed on the black olives). Service was excellent! In all, it was a great, affordable meal. We will be back!“

“Very nice place! The burger was delicious! The only complaint is the parking. Thankfully we went on a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn’t busy but I couldn’t imagine trying to find parking when it’s busy. Even with parking I will definitely be back. Our server was very nice :)“

We love the B and G so much we came here after our wedding, for the after party and always try to take friends from out of town.
