“What an adventure this was! Completely average food. Not great even for a little diner. But a completely surreal experience. The table by us sang "Happy Birthday" at least three times. Our server almost took my plate away because the kitchen gave me a "large" instead of a "regular" and I had to agree to pay for the bigger size. Everyone could hear what anyone was doing in the bathroom. Absolutely none of the staff had any clue what was going on. We felt like extras in an episode of Twin Peaks. 10/10 for atmosphere. “
“My coworkers & I have been going to Winans Choclates & Coffee for a while now. First, we were going to the one in Troy. When we heard our favorite barista, Ashley moved to Piqua location on Spring Street to become a manager there, we just had to start going to that location. Ashley is friendly, loves her job, and her store is always clean and presentable. She takes pride in everything she does. When any of us walk in, she knows our drinks before ordering, which in my opinion is amazing considering some days there is eight to ten of us. Keep up the great work Ashley! Wherever you go, you have a pack of coffee lovers ready to follow you!“
“Its a beautiful little spot with amazing food and coffee. i always get the chicken salad sandwich with toasted sourdough… its my favorite around. my bf gets the pizza panini and loves it every time as well! their coffee is top tier and today i tried the iced tea with some added rasberry syrup and im. in. love. “Absolutely adore the atmosphere here, the lofi music is the best. The people behind the counter were super sweet and kind, they were awesome. Will be frequenting more, esp to see the plant babies.UPDATE: I returned after close as I was stranded with a dead phone. I was also crying, as the entire reason I was stranded was because of my disability. I also had a rough day. The owner was so sweet, she let me inside so I could use an outlet and made sure I was well taken care of. The Waiting Room will become part of my weekly routine, as it is a safe accomodating place as well as an enjoyable experience.“
“The best 3rd wave coffee roaster in the area, and the best food of any coffee shop in the area. PC currently uses V60 and Chemex brewers, though they also serve batch brew and create many new espresso drinks (not using single origin beans for espresso currently). Their cortados are excellent! The food is amazing: giant breakfast sandwich, or bison burger, roasted sweet potatoes, or breakfast plate, and a plethora of baked goods. Because PC partners with local growers and bakers, the prices for food are higher than prepackaged generic food. Read the menu and ask questions. I believe the prices are fair to support local businesses. The baristas are friendly and helpful if you have questions. They typically get a little crowded on weekends, but early risers will have the place to themselves.“
