“We were in the area for 4 days. Cleats was the only restaurant we visited twice! Their outdoor patio is nice with a marina view. The appetizers were great. Foods were a little lackluster. The frozen cocktails were delicious. The second visit, our 4 kids were whiny, loud, and impatient. Our waitress (wish I would have got her name) was so kind and patient with us. She got mom and dad’s drinks out right away with waters for all the kids. Brought coloring pages and crayons. Took the babies binky and rinsed it off after it fell to the ground and brought it back wrapped in a napkin. She was very attentive and kind to our family. :)“

The drinks? Absolutely top-notch—perfectly mixed, fresh, and exactly what you want on a sunny day by the water. You can tell they take pride in every pour. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between laid-back and lively, with music and energy that make you want to stay all afternoon.
Nick runs the kind of place where everyone—locals, first-timers, or repeat visitors—feels welcome. He’s attentive without hovering, knows his menu inside and out, and clearly loves creating a great time for his guests. His team works like a well-oiled machine, smiling through the busiest rush and making sure no one’s glass ever sits empty.
If you want amazing drinks, a fun crowd, and service that makes you feel like part of the Blue Marlin family, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back—again and again!“

“Great place! My 9 year old had the best time too. They allow kids during the day Mon-Thursday for $10. I highly recommend this place for a day by the pool. The music brought me back to my 20’s -club days. We had a great afternoon! You feel like you’re at the beach here, & in this town. Will return“

“We are local and seasonal on Catawba. So glad we found this gem. Dined there Friday evening outdoor patio. BEST Walleye we have had. Lightly breaded and not greasy like the famous one next door. we choose this place all day long over the J Rogers one. Wait staff was so exceptional. A wonderful experience all around. Our new favorite hang out.“
