We are local and seasonal on Catawba. So glad we found this gem. Dined there Friday evening outdoor patio. BEST Walleye we have had. Lightly breaded and not greasy like the famous one next door. we choose this place all day long over the J Rogers one. Wait staff was so exceptional. A wonderful experience all around. Our new favorite hang out.
While the food was good, and atmosphere exceptional ( On the Shores of Lake Erie) our waitress failed us. She gave us our bill, then ran off waiting on four other customers, despite eye contact multiple times. She even returned to another table with drinks despite my repeated eye contact. At that time I attempted to pay the bill and was intercepted by the busboy who in turn attempted to get another server to accept payment. He was clearly busy and could not accept my payment....read full review
Terrible customer service from the hostess. I would recommend some customer service training. No attempt to help with seating our large party. Made us decide to dine elsewhere and not give them our business.

Situated on a private beach in Ohio, this spot is perfect for a relaxing cocktail with a great view. Boats can anchor nearby, and there's live music for weekend fun. The atmosphere is relaxed, with outdoor seating that provides a pleasant view of the lake, though sometimes the cold wind can make food get cold quickly. The ribs are "fall off the bone" good, and the Chipotle BBQ sauce has a sweet and spicy kick. Don't miss the Bavarian Pretzel with plentiful Queso. The outdoor area has a friendly vibe, and the staff are very personable and welcoming. Visitors can enjoy a chicken salad or a fried chicken sandwich while taking in the beautiful lake scenery. The mushrooms and jalapeno ranch are highly recommended, and the nachos and salsa are huge, making for a satisfying meal. The Walleye Sandwich is highly praised, and the ribs just fall off the bone. The coleslaw is considered one of the best around, and drinks are awesome. The place can be busy, but the food remains quick and delicious, and the bartender works hard to keep everyone’s drinks full. Parking can be tight and fill up fast on busy nights. Overall, the atmosphere is lively but not loud, making it a very nice place to enjoy good seafood and drinks in a relaxed setting.
