“Of the food I’ve tried, the flavors are appropriate to what we ate, including the sauces. Sports bar enthusiast will love that televisions available to watch their game. The music is upbeat, but not too loud. they do have a bar, but it’s separate and not the focus of the restaurant which is good. there are more than just beers. You can get hard alcohol too. The breakfast menu is always available during restaurant hours. Courteous staff ready to serve. Customization of your food is encouraged. I had a behemoth burger and potato soup. Both were flavorful. Size portions are decent. 99 out of 100.“

I have celiac disease and I have never gotten sick from their gluten free menu. I can't and don't eat out anywhere else anymore because I've gotten glutened everywhere pretty much. I can trust coming here.

“Perfect spot for a date night! We were drawn to this place for many reasons. From the history and atmosphere to the limited days/hours of service, we knew we were in for a treat. Service was consistent from the moment we arrived.
Chef James Hillen rivals some of the top Chefs that we have dined with. The food was FANTASTIC! Our steaks were flavorful and cooked to perfection with an exceptional sear.
The garlic mashed potatoes were perfectly seasoned and prepared. The homemade mac and cheese was creamy with the perfect crust on top. The salad was a good portion size and tasted like it was freshly chopped and prepared.
The asparagus was cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned. The crème brûlée was balanced and creamy with a delicious hardened caramelized sugar layer.
We can't brag on this place enough and definitely recommend this restaurant. This is a place we will dine at again!“

Ive dined here for many holidays, special occasions, last minute dinners, or “just because” at brunch, lunch, and dinner for years and have never ever had a bad experience. They’re creative with their menu options but also have dishes for the pickier eaters - they definitely know how to make a dish their own and every bite is full of flavor. One of my personal favorite dinner options is the salmon and/or their grilled chicken with the tzatziki but my NEW favorite is the bourbon peach glazed pork chop 😍 SO flavorful and the portion is just right, extra good with sweet potato fries and their honey glazed carrots. They’re always improving and curating cool dishes. Cocktails always hit just right, wide variety of local beers, etc. Staff is always accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. Playlists always hit, vibes are always high, and the atmosphere is cozy. They keep the place super clean and I’ve always felt safe and comfortable to enjoy myself - no matter if I’m there 45 minutes or hours. Love it here!“

“We always enjoy Waffle House. Breakfast is our to go food. There are two waffle Houses in our area. I like both but the one on 29th street in Huntington WV is my favorite. There is a young waitress there. I think her name is Shanti but I’m not positive. I have a 13 year old grandson who has had trouble with bullying and has difficulties with making friends. She teases him and is extra friendly to him. She calls him Mr. Long Hair because he like a lot of teenage boys has long hair. He loves going to Waffle House and his mental attitude has changed so much. We are very appreciative of her. She is what Waffle House is. Going home where you feel comfortable and eating a good meal with family and friends.“

“This was by far the absolute WORST Waffle House my family & I had ever been to. We stopped here for dinner on our way home from a family outing & I really wish we had not. We sat at the booth for well over 15 min. before anyone would acknowledge us or even come to our table. When the waitress with the pink hair finally did come, she was rude and complaining of other customers. It took her 10 min. just to bring our drinks, which she gave us no straws & my coffee was cold & tasted old. We never seen her again. She was to busy flirting with a group of guys. Eventually another waitress brought us our food 30 min. later & the order completely wrong. Guests who came in way after us received their food first. My husband & I were finished eating by the time our kids even got their food. Not one time was we offered a refill, ask how the food was or anything. BTW, the bacon was extremely burnt, the eggs were cold as well as the grits & they forgot half our order. What a mess, very unprofessional, the cook was not wearing gloves as he was preparing food & the bathrooms & restaurant was dirty. The worst experience dining out EVER!!! Save your time & money & do yourself a favor & just go to a different Waffle House.“

“We had a great time at Roosters. With a table of 16 people, they were able to get us seated in less than 30 minutes to accommodate our group. Our waitress was Cam, she killed it! The service was amazing. She got our drinks out quickly, our orders were correct, the food came out hot. Cam, made sure our drinks were always full and checked in often. She gave us the vip treatment. The food was amazing and the prices were even better. I highly recommend the roosters nest fries and the fried pickles to start your dinner with your friends and family. I'm so glad we stopped here on our weekend trip.
