“This wonderfully cozy bar/restaurant has some of the most delicious meals you could ask for! The steak Saturdays are perfect for a date a night or a night out with the family! Vince and the kitchen staff have done incredible things! Tony out front makes some amazing cocktails! Will definitely be back!“

“Bar maid's boy friend was at the end of the bar. Needless to say he got 80% of her attention. It was difficult to spend money or get a drink. Food tasted great. Although my French dip sandwich came with enough dip for about two bites. I would guess it was just the bar maid doing a poor job. She spent a lot of time in the kitchen. The Thursday day bar tender needs a different job. I will return hoping for better service.“

“My husband and I made reservations for Valentine’s Day for a 5 course meal. We made our selections for each course ahead of time. As you may see in other reviews, this was the first time the restaurant offered this type of service for Valentine’s Day. Our amazing server, Jenn, gave us a heads up that the kitchen was behind.

The food did come out pretty late, but I am still leaving a 5-star review for 4 reasons:

1. The quality of service from our server, Jenn. She was kind, calm, and personable. She kept the wine coming and did a great job of setting our expectations and taking care of us wherever she could.

2. The restaurant’s response to the wait time for food. All of the wine we drank that evening (it was a lot) was fully comped. Then, the restaurant went above and beyond by sending everyone a $50 gift certificate for future use. I don’t think many restaurants would do that.

3. The quality of food when it finally arrived. Yes it took some time to get to our table, but the food was phenomenal! Still dreaming of that filet Oscar. Worth every penny!

4. The wine. Michael Angelo’s has always had amazing wine at an incredible price, and we definitely enjoyed our fair share this particular evening! I can think of a lot worse situations to be in than waiting for a meal with some great wine in the company of my best friend.

Yes there were some hiccups, but we will absolutely be back if they decide to try this type of service again.“

“We have been coming to Hot Grillz Diner since we saw it on New Day Cleveland (way before the pandemic). Karen and crew are awesome and the food is fabulous. She was very attentive, prompt and always had a smile on her face. She was very friendly and it was apparent to me she really loved her job! “I came for early dinner and missed the Saturday night rush. The atmosphere was nice with decor and soft music. There was a full bar separate from the dining room and more than one dining room. They had a nice offering of wine on the menu. I started with a salad with house dressing. Fresh shredded cheese topped it off. It was good. There was also a basket of Italian bread that comes fresh every morning from local Massoli bakery. It was really good. I ordered the ravioli combo which is house made every morning. The combo had 9 large ravioli, 3 meat, 3 spinach and 3 cheese. They were very good. I got a side of house made hot Italian sausage with marinara. I really liked it. I finished with a house made cannoli which was excellent. Service was great and I enjoyed the meal. They have many house made items on the menu so I would like to come back and try some more. I read that the lasagna is popular and they have daily specials. I highly recommend.“

“My girlfriend took me here for my 60th birthday.Everything was impeccable except when the waitress brought this little dish of vanilla ice cream and wished me happy birthday.I believe for a place of this caliber they should offer you something from the dessert menu for your special occasion.“

“This was our first time going and it was honestly so good! It’s super refreshing to find a restaurant that does breakfast but in a healthy way! I love that most dishes have avocado as an ingredient because of the health benefits. I personally cannot eat avocado due to an intolerance but my food was still amazing even when I took it out! I got the Eggs Benedict - BLT.. I don’t even have words to describe it. The greens were crunchy, the hollandaise sauce was citrusy, the eggs were perfectly jammy while my bread was beautifully toasted and the bacon and tomato just added to it. I got it with the side of potatoes and those were perfect. I will absolutely be coming back. Also, I’m not big on coffee at all, but their coffee is so amazing that I actually had to get a bag for home.“

“It was the perfect place to take my mom as she is in a wheelchair. The staff was so accommodating. Staff was spot on for professional servers, which has been hard to find since before Covid. “We ordered: pumpkin donuts as an appetizer robust coffee, served in carafes, and the chikichanga and September's special breakfast sandwich - sausage and eggs on a croissant with jalapeños and thick cut bacon and apricot jam. “When they actually get your order right it’s good food. The problem is that they screw up the orders too often. It doesn’t matter if you order online or over the phone, what you ask for and pay for is not what’s in the box. They either drown the wings because you ask for extra sauce (to the point where the box can’t hold the sauce & it’s spilling out) or the wings are bone dry. The last order I placed was for a white pizza with chicken and bacon, I got a white pizza with banana peppers, tomatoes, black olives and bacon… NOT the same!
It’s frustrating because the food IS good :(“

“The food was so good! I love the environment and the chairs were super comfortable. My only issue would be they are not very attentive with the community table, but despite that I don’t mind a little wait for some hot fresh breakfast and with Christmas right around the corner I’d expect a little wait.
