“Originally from Buffalo NY, found it very difficult to find a pizza that even comes close to what I was used to. I've tried many pizzas across the Miami Valley and all I can say is that most were pretty bad, and a few ok but not much more. 2 places were halfway decent but those places went downhill. I finally tried Joe's Pizza last month and have to say, the Absolute Best in Miami Valley. It was the closest to Buffalo Style Pizza I ever had in Southwest Ohio. Told their Staff the same. I will definitely be going back there despite being a little drive from where I live. I would recommend Joe's Pizza to everyone, especially if you're looking for a quality pizza!!“

“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

“Our favorite restaurant in downtown Dayton. Like the atmosphere, the people, and the food! Guacamole was delicious as usual. Enchiladas verdes were out of this world good. “absolutely delicious experience. The conveyor belt featured a wide variety of appetizers, salads, fresh fruit, sushi, nigiri, and dessert. our waitress was super attentive and extremely polite. The atmosphere is very fun and entertaining as you watch the conveyor belt, the trams on top of the belt, and the robots delivering hot and fresh food. our waitress was on top of our drinks and explained the iPad and the conveyor belt system very well. Will definitely be back. for the two of us with a generous tip, it was under $50.“

“Visited on a Sunday for brunch around 11. Restaurant was busy and we were recommended to make reservations, however we were able to get a table for two with very little wait.
Food was delicious and service was excellent and quick.
We ordered the Hangover Bowl, Meat Omelette, and Fried Chicken and Waffle Sandwich. I ordered a side of bacon with a side of Cajun Butter for my waffle. The portions sizes are a good size and the omelette and waffle sandwich are highly recommended.
Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.“

It was awkward on Valentine's weekend as the tables were so close in the area I was sat that it felt like we were sitting at a table with strangers. One side was a single long bench and I was maybe two feet from someone else. It was impossible not to overhear all the conversations. Not the atmosphere you want for this occasion.“

“This brewery had been on my list for a year or so to check out, and I have to see I was overly impressed. We tried 4 of their NE IPAs and each of them were pretty stellar. The space is great, simple modern and perfectly decorated. The bartenders were super helpful and kind, and the cherry on top was that the playlist absolutely slapped. We started off with pretzel bites, hot and delicious! Started off with cups of gumbo, perfect on a cold rainy day! Great soup loaded with shrimp, chicken and sausage. Then the 4 of us had deluxe pizza, a tuna melt, chicken quesadilla and the Italian sub. Everything was great. The pizza crust was crispy and light. Perfect!“

“Stopped by for lunch on our way to Yellow Springs, it’s a hole in the wall place with minimum decor that has definitely seen better days.

The bathroom is located in the back of the building, so you’ll need to exit the restaurant and walk around the building to get to it. Remember to turn on the light before you shut the door because it’s pitch black with the door shut.

The service is great, seated right away and took our order and food came out fast.

We got the lunch special bimbimbop and spicy ramen with beef. Everything tasted great. The spicy ramen definitely takes like Shin ramen straight out of package 🤣 but I enjoyed it anyways.

The normal menu price looked a bit pricy but I assume they come in big portions, there were a few items I wanted to try but was not available for lunch that I’ll have to save for the next visit.“

“Hoagie's was a staple for me in the 80s and early 90s when I lived nearby and worked in the Poe Avenue area. It had been a long time since I'd visited so I drove over (across town from Fairborn - about 25 minutes one way) and ordered when I got there. I got two pizzas, a whole Spider (one of my all time favorite sandwiches) and the stuffed garlic bread. I grabbed a Coke and sat outside on their patio in the lovely weather. 20-ish minutes later, they brought my order right out to me. It think it was about $40 and well worth it. The pizza was just as I remembered it - the big thing I love is their sauce has a great tomato flavor and isn't too sweet. Great crust and well topped. I ordered my wife's pizza light sauce and they did it perfectly. The Spider was everything I remembered and the stuffed bread sticks might be my wife's new favorite thing. They have a nice amount of inside seating and the staff was very friendly. While I was waiting outside, it was a constant stream of folks coming for pickup orders. Hoagie's is as good as I remember and it will be on our regular rotation going forward. I just made me happy to reconnect with some of those memories from my first job working in that area and to get back to Hoagie's. If you have the chance, you should go.“
