“I was invited to a music gig on a Sunday several weeks ago and have stopped several times since. It's a great place and bike riding distance from my home. Each time I've met new friends and owner and bar are authentice and unique! The music presented is such a gift.”

“Wow rarely do I feel as strong as I do now to leave a review unprompted, but this place is SO GOOD. I popped in randomly because I was in the shopping complex and have been meaning to try - I am so glad I did! We got beef and chicken quesadillas, a cup of their chicken noodle soup, brownie and a smoothie. Everything was incredible and actually tasted like real, fresh food. I was definitely hungry, but everything reallyy hit the spot today.

I also have to mention the owner is super nice! We chatted a little and from the moment I walked in he made me feel welcome. It felt very much like a family joint where he cares to know his customers as opposed to a standard fast food type place.

Overall, I’m incredibly impressed and can’t wait to go back. Cleveland needs more places like this.”

“We had Old Carolina cater our wedding this last Saturday (2.24.24) at Lake Affect Studios in Cleveland, OH and we cannot thank the staff enough. We opted for a buffet option which worked out so well. We are still getting compliments on how delicious the food was. When we were thinking about food for our wedding, I knew I wanted a barbecue buffet! Once we saw they were on the preferred list of vendors for Lake Affect Studios it was a no brainer and we went with them as our first choice. We used to love eating at Old Carolina when they had a restaurant in Mentor, OH. Kelsey was so helpful in answering all of my questions leading up to wedding day, and assisting with the set up the day before. They did an amazing job keeping everyone fed and the staff was friendly and efficient. They let us take home left over food and we were able to enjoy the barbecue even after our big day. Took him yesterday for his birthday, we are both still talking about it today. He told me he told multiple people at work about it and has been thinking about your cannolis all day and I have been too, best I've ever had. Ever single thing from cocktails to dessert to atmosphere is absolutely amazing, I, we cannot brag about you guys enough! Classy cocktail menu, the char sour and classic old fashioned are a must try. You're selection of bourbon for bourbon lovers is top notch too! Last the food, beet salad, lobster rolls, cassoulet pie are to die for 🤌 have to talk about the cannolis again, one pistachio and one chocolate chip, don't snooze on those if you go! My biggest compliments to the chef. We will definitely be back.”

“I like small places with character, good service and a chef that knows how to prepare interesting dishes and Tartine checked off all of those. In the Historic District of Rocky River this small restaurant with bar has a small but very interesting menu with a staff that was friendly and helpful from our entrance. The menu has two sides with meat and vegan choices with a focus on tartines, appetizers and soups. We had the Fromage Board, Butternut & Apple Bisque and the Duck Tartine. The cheeses were not exotic but abundant served with a good bread and jam. The Butternut Apple soup lacked flavor of Butternut Squash or Apple but the Duck Tartine was delicious. The star was our desert - the Pistachio Cheesecake tooped with an Italian Meringue which was outstanding. I'd be happy to return and try the other choices.”

Many said it was the best food they have had at a wedding. Mario gave us exactly what we asked for and elevated his food with the love he has for cooking. She always goes the extra mile for her customers and is a local favorite. Her pho is better than any Asian restaurant in town, with the best ingredients and flavor. We love ordering the bone broth to take home. Also be sure to try the Bison meatballs, coffees and desserts... not to mention the variety of goods she sells in the shop. This is a very unique and wonderful spot. You won't be sorry when you visit.”

“Stopped for breakfast on a rare morning when my spouse didn't have to work. He had the Toast of France, huge serving was well presented but he couldn't eat all of it. I had the Mini Griddle with scrambled eggs and the side of fruit. All was fresh and tasty. Our server was just the right amount of attentive.”

“Booked the Gondola for a date night & it was a fun experience! It was nice to have our own little piece of ‘Vail' in Cleveland. They added a little space heater and 4 blankets (one for each person in the gondola). Overall, it was a fun experience and a different way to have a meal. Invited another couple to join us and the space still didn't feel to cramped! Downside - as a vegan they didn't have the Vegan gyro meat to make the wrap and the Brussels are labeled as vegan - but they are made in a shared fryer - so they are not vegan.”

“Not only is this space clean, beautiful, and welcoming, but the team goes above and beyond to make every customer feel special. My grandmother turned 70 on November 1st, and she loves bingo and slot machines. She’s never had a birthday cake or party before, so this celebration meant the world to us. I shared her story with the team, and they truly understood the assignment.

They walked me through topper options, asked about design ideas, and took full creative control after I showed them the theme. When the original color didn’t complement the toppers I’d chosen, they professionally suggested an alternative. I’m so glad they did! I picked up the cake on Halloween, and all the ladies were excited to show me their beautiful work. It was honestly one of the most stunning cakes I’ve ever seen. I even got to thank the cake designer personally for her artistry and attention to detail.

Even on a busy day, their pick-up process was smooth and clearly organized with labeled signs. My grandmother absolutely loved her German chocolate cake. I’ve never been a fan of German chocolate myself, but this cake changed my mind. It was moist, rich, and perfectly balanced. My mom, who also loves German chocolate, has her birthday on Veterans Day, so I ordered cupcakes from Kelsey Elizabeth’s for her too. When I placed the order, they remembered me and asked how my grandmother enjoyed her cake. That kind of thoughtfulness and genuine care is rare.

My mom adored her cupcakes just as much as my grandmother loved her cake. The quality, flavor, and presentation were all exceptional. This team is not only talented but also kind, professional, and affordable for any special event. I’ve already recommended them to several people because they truly helped make two incredible women in my life feel celebrated and loved.
