“If only Detroit had a BBQ restaurant as good as this one. I've tried a handful of items but always go back to the pulled pork platter, the pork being properly smoked low and slow with a nice bark on it. The sauces are also very tasty, not overpowering the meat (and thankfully, not out of a bottle like at the chain restaurants). The sides are also quite good; the macaroni and cheese is a nice pile of artery-clogging goodness! Can't go wrong here. We always stop in when visiting the Toledo Zoo.“

“This place is amazing. Had never had it before. They were at my work today and let me tell you what. Talk about a killer lunch. I had the ribs with baked beans and Mac and cheese. Ribs are bomb. The hot sauce that you can get on them, definitely wanna get that. Mac and cheese was very cheesy and wasn’t dry like others. I can’t wait to try more!“

“My boyfriend and I were in from out of town over the weekend. Honestly we almost passed over this place due to the 3.9 overall rating on Google. But I am so so glad we didn't! OMG so good!! Went for lunch and got both of the sandwiches they offer. The big Pete and polish Pete. They were both piled high and so tasty. The green beans were very good too. Both of our favorite thing was the cornbread muffins!! More like a dessert/cupcake then cornbread. I could have ate a dozen myself lol. If you're in the area this place is a must try!“

“Filet was done correctly and tasted delicious. Didn't get any toppers, just the meat. Corn on the cob with elote-style seasoning was pretty good, not stellar. Service was perfectly adequate, but it was after 8pm on a Tuesday so they weren't busy. The country music is a hardship one must endure.“

“My mom & I have ordered out multiple times from the maumee location. The service is always good. The food is always nicely prepared and fresh. The ribs are the Best that I have had in Toledo!!! The meat is juicy, the sauce is good, and there's a lot of meat on the ribs. I have sent a great deal of customers to them. Also, the mac n cheese, baked beans, and corn muffins are finger licking good.“

“My fiancé and I ate here tonight. The food was good however we ordered the cheese fries and they came out with just cheese on them when the menu described bacon on it. I asked our waiter Seth and he said it would be 50 cents for a cup of bacon bits when we have gotten it before. My fiance got the New York strip and like any other time our server has him cut into it he did not. He didn’t have the best attitude and we ate our dinner with empty dishes on the table so there wasn’t much room. Dessert wasn’t mentioned after we were done. We’ve been to this location a few times and never had an issue but tonight was a little disappointing. I would say the food was great but the service could have been better“

The table across from us was absolutely atrociously behaved but Shawna kept her cool and served them kindly and professionally, while also managing all her other tables with grace. Their wings are my favorite, and they’re always perfectly cooked and so meaty! This is our family’s favorite takeout spot, and it’s incredibly reliable and well-prices.“
