“If only Detroit had a BBQ restaurant as good as this one. I've tried a handful of items but always go back to the pulled pork platter, the pork being properly smoked low and slow with a nice bark on it. The sauces are also very tasty, not overpowering the meat (and thankfully, not out of a bottle like at the chain restaurants). The sides are also quite good; the macaroni and cheese is a nice pile of artery-clogging goodness! Can't go wrong here. We always stop in when visiting the Toledo Zoo.“

“This place is amazing. Had never had it before. They were at my work today and let me tell you what. Talk about a killer lunch. I had the ribs with baked beans and Mac and cheese. Ribs are bomb. Their animal style fries are super yummy, coming from a Cali native, they were WAAAAY better than In-n-Out's trash fries lolHad 2 shots: frosted animal cracker(yum!) and Pen*s Shot or something like that, which was also really good.Atmosphere was alright. Some cover band and a good amount of middle aged people maybe 40s and up. Hilarious enough one side was fuuull of clearly the older generation and then the other side was all 20s and 30 year olds haha. “Honestly theres not enough good things i can say about this place. Generally hard to find good bbq this far north. Was passing through with a freind from Alabama that wanted bbq, i warned him most was horrible in the area and i normally smoke my own. We stopped here and we were both impressed. Service was great, guy working was super friendly. Food seemed expensive but portions are large. Had the big pork bbq with slaw, best you will find in the area.“

“Once again, a Texan up north trying to find some good que. This place has 4.7 stars and I was hoping for the best. Great atmosphere, playing BB King and the "Blues" when I walked in. I ordered the "personal sampler" with pulled chicken, ribs, smoked Polish sausage, brisket beans, Mac n cheese and cornbread. They did have sweet tea so gold star for them! The pulled chicken was interesting but tasty. The smoked Polish sausage was good but the ribs were tougher than an old lady's Chihuahua. There was no falling off the bone, hell I almost fell outta the chair trying to get the bone out! ? They were seasoned well just not loved on in the smoker long enough. Everyone in the joint was raving about that Mac n cheese & cornbread and bless their lil hearts. ? I think they all had "Helsinki Syndrome" (when you get held hostage for so long you start thinking like your captors ?) because the Mac n cheese was literally Kraft macaroni & cheese made with spiral noodles and the cornbread tasted like an unfrosted cupcake . (Super sweet) The brisket beans tasted like canned beans with no visible brisket in them BUT, they did have sweet tea! (even though the cornbread was sweeter than the tea ??) Being from Texas I may have a bias but even my ribs, mac n cheese and brisket beans too theirs and I'm just a Jr. Pit Master. 6 out of 10 and that because I'd never had "pulled chicken" and they had sweet tea. Service was great, food came out very fast and the atmosphere was decent. If I went back it'd be because they have sweet tea.. ??“

“Food was good. I had the salmon on rice with broccoli and sweet potato. My husband had steak and lobster with a loaded baked potato. Our server was attentive. This place always looks busy. The parking lot was packed but we got seated right away.“

“My fiancé and I ate here tonight. The food was good however we ordered the cheese fries and they came out with just cheese on them when the menu described bacon on it. I asked our waiter Seth and he said it would be 50 cents for a cup of bacon bits when we have gotten it before. My fiance got the New York strip and like any other time our server has him cut into it he did not. He didn’t have the best attitude and we ate our dinner with empty dishes on the table so there wasn’t much room. Dessert wasn’t mentioned after we were done. We’ve been to this location a few times and never had an issue but tonight was a little disappointing. I would say the food was great but the service could have been better“

“I haven’t been here in a few years because I felt like they had fallen off a bit but this is my 2nd time getting the mixed meat salad and they did not disappoint!! Salad is delicious, fresh and they don’t skimp on ingredients. I also was running late for work and they got my order together quickly! Don’t know if they have new owners, a new cook or what but they are back to my go to for salads!“
