“If only Detroit had a BBQ restaurant as good as this one. I've tried a handful of items but always go back to the pulled pork platter, the pork being properly smoked low and slow with a nice bark on it. The sauces are also very tasty, not overpowering the meat (and thankfully, not out of a bottle like at the chain restaurants). The sides are also quite good; the macaroni and cheese is a nice pile of artery-clogging goodness! Can't go wrong here. We always stop in when visiting the Toledo Zoo.“

“TLDR: great food and drinks and decent atmosphere(:Granted we were sitting at the bar so service was quick for us pretty much automatically. Their animal style fries are super yummy, coming from a Cali native, they were WAAAAY better than In-n-Out's trash fries lolHad 2 shots: frosted animal cracker(yum!) and Pen*s Shot or something like that, which was also really good.Atmosphere was alright. Some cover band and a good amount of middle aged people maybe 40s and up. Hilarious enough one side was fuuull of clearly the older generation and then the other side was all 20s and 30 year olds haha. “This place is amazing. Had never had it before. They were at my work today and let me tell you what. Talk about a killer lunch. I had the ribs with baked beans and Mac and cheese. Ribs are bomb. The hot sauce that you can get on them, definitely wanna get that. Mac and cheese was very cheesy and wasn’t dry like others. I can’t wait to try more!“

“Honestly theres not enough good things i can say about this place. Generally hard to find good bbq this far north. Was passing through with a freind from Alabama that wanted bbq, i warned him most was horrible in the area and i normally smoke my own. We stopped here and we were both impressed. Service was great, guy working was super friendly. Food seemed expensive but portions are large. Had the big pork bbq with slaw, best you will find in the area.“

“My fiancé and I ate here tonight. The food was good however we ordered the cheese fries and they came out with just cheese on them when the menu described bacon on it. I asked our waiter Seth and he said it would be 50 cents for a cup of bacon bits when we have gotten it before. My fiance got the New York strip and like any other time our server has him cut into it he did not. He didn’t have the best attitude and we ate our dinner with empty dishes on the table so there wasn’t much room. Dessert wasn’t mentioned after we were done. We’ve been to this location a few times and never had an issue but tonight was a little disappointing. I would say the food was great but the service could have been better“

The table across from us was absolutely atrociously behaved but Shawna kept her cool and served them kindly and professionally, while also managing all her other tables with grace.
