“Been eating here for years, always pretty consistently good. Flavors and cooking quality changes from time to time, it's worth it to try again after a bad experience. Over the last 9 years I've been eating here I've only had 2 or 3 times that I've had issues with the food.“

This was our first time eating here but it definitely won't be the last. My wife and I were both pleasantly surprised by how good the food was.

Their waitresses are very friendly and make your dining experiences great. I had the Mongolian beef, fried rice, egg drop soup and egg roll/hot tea. Very enjoyable meal and a complete dining experience. Golden City is well worth the time and drive for the very enjoyable food they serve. One of Toledo's well kept secrets for great Chinese food.“

We had the eggdrop soup - think and flavorful; the sweet and sour shrimp - the sauce is wonderful with hints of pineapple and orange peel; and the wonton special was tasty and packed with vegetables. Kung Po Chicken, Cumin Beef, Double Cooked Pork Slices, and Spicy Boiled Fish left nothing to be desired, they're all perfect!

Most important of all, make sure to ask for the Chinese menu instead of English version if you’re looking for some real Chinese food, because they serve totally different food on different menu.“

“Stopped in for lunch, we were very glad we did, the wonton soup is great, you also get egg roll and a chicken wing with the dinner, the egg roll was good, love the sweet sauce for it, the chicken wing was hot and crispy, my wife got the crab rangoon which were light and crispy with great flavor, my dinner was the almond boneless chicken which tasted great, love the sauce that comes on it, my wife got the sweet and sour chicken, she also really liked her meal, overall this is a great place to eat, we enjoyed it and will be back.“

“My go-to for Chinese food and they deliver. Fyi- they put a lot of orange rind n their orange chicken. I'm not a fan of so much orange peel. Also, I never hear them when they deliver so b on the look out. My food was on my cold porch for a long time.“

“Just picked up chicken fried rice on way home and it is amazing! This is the second time recently I have done this and it was delicious and hot both times. I always love the smoothies from here but I highly recommend the family size chicken fried rice. It's a huge portion and we get like 3 meals out of it. Even the sautéed chicken in it is yummy.
