They serve fancy hotdogs on fancy bread for the buns, the Norway is topped with mashed potatoes, beacon bits cheese, etc. Me and my girlfriend went back for seconds after we had the Norway and Germany dogs.“

“It had been many years since we had been to the Root Beer Stand so it was high time to come back. It had grown a fair amount since our last visit which was great to see. The place was really busy but they really are streamlined well and there was not a long wait time. There is a bit of indoor seating but a vast majority of the seating is at picnic tables outside around the area. Everything looked great all around the grounds although you must remember you are outside and there are a fair amount of bees around so beware of that. I had a footlong chili dog and fries which were excellent especially the chili dog. Also had to have a root beer float which was legendary as usual as their locally sourced root beer really is delicious. This is definitely an awesome place to go on a summer day for sure and it gets my highest recommendation.“

You can definitely show up dressed comfortably/casually, but they have pretty decent ambiance, suitable for some weekend fun. We weren't super intrigued by the menu; it was a little less extensive than I'd hope from a place like this, mostly heavier options, and maybe not a ton of things I'd order next time. For me, the mussels far exceeded my expectations. That broth was heavenly, the bread was soft and perfect for soaking up the great flavors, the mussels themselves were very abundant, and had okay freshness. My lady said her burger was mediocre. She tried both the truffle fries and duck fat fries and was disappointed by both. I've never seen her not eat fries before, so that says a lot! Service was good overall. I'd come back for those mussels any day, but not quite as excited to dig deeper into the menu. I wouldn't deter anybody from giving them a try, especially if out enjoying the park on a nice day.“

“I get my salad every week at Lucky Dog, Murphy my dog is always welcome, they are good people. everything in my salad is always fresh and reasonably priced. The salads have a-lot of filling protein and flavor. If you eat downtown regularly you know a fresh salad with enough filling protein is hard to find for $7. Lucky Dog makes my everyday work life bearable. Also they sell the biggest fountain drink for the lowest price. and cheesecake. 🏆😉They have my loyalty“

“This is an alright Five guys with good food and good service. I normally don’t do national chains much when I’m in Cincinnati, but when it’s the only option I usually go for this Five Guys. It’s definitely worth going to if you like Five Guys.

“I mean... It's Skyline Chili. If you live near one you already know the deal. This one does have particularly great staff that have never let me down in the last 10 years of this being my most local one.

For anyone not familiar with Cincinnati chili, is more of a sauce than a standalone meal. Food selection is mostly chili dogs, spaghetti, fries, with a few salad options and wraps.

Is it a 5 star meal? No. This is Cincinnati comfort food. But in terms of the quality of all the above grading points they have never done me wrong.“

“It’s a fast food place in a strip mall. Not sure how to rate atmosphere, it was clean and decent. I had chili dogs and tried the chili bowl. I like chili and chili hotdogs with cheese so I gave it 5 stars. Maybe not the best I’ve ever had the chili is a little sweet for what I usually have but it was still good. They had a drive through and takeout, optional sit down service was a surprise. The great attitude of the staff was nice and the complete opposite of restaurant staff here in California. “We never really had any issues here, but the last 2 out of 3 visits they have failed to put everything in the bag. One time we didn't get the cheese for the 4 way, I called to let them know, they said they would make a note of it, but then when I went up to get the cheese, they had no record of me calling. Tonight we didn't get the onion for either of the 4 ways. They charge extra for a 4 way and to not get what you paid for is quite disappointing. They need to do a better job on carryout, making sure they are putting everything in the bags. Customers depend on them to make sure they get what they paid for.“

Parking: If you go through the drive thru, it doesn't really connect to the parking lot. So, if you get your food at the drive thru and want to eat in your car like a heathen (how we do it), you have to go back on the road, make an immediate right back into the lot.Enjoy.“

“As a true Cincinnatian, Skyline Chili runs through my veins. Literally- Good/bad cholesterol is subjective in my opinion. Once a month, I bathe in a tub of Skyline Chili, topped with neon orange cheese, to clear my pores and improve my chakras. We are currently bottle feeding our newborn daughter Skyline chili. Our doctor said that it’s probably a bad idea, but she’s originally from Pittsburgh, so I don’t trust her. Anyways, I can’t wait to have her quinceañera and wedding at this location one day. It may be nostalgia, but the Oakley and Clifton locations are my favorite Skylines.“

“I'm giving this a 4 because I feel a little conflicted about this chili. I only visited this restaurant because my son insisted on trying it. I grew up in the south and for us chili was a hot hearty bowl of beans and beef not chili sauce with a little beef and spaghetti. So of course I can't say I enjoyed it very much but my son did so I split the baby and gave it a 4 star. The service in the drive thru was faster than most fast foods and the lady at the window was helpful and smiling. What more could you ask for. So while this chili was "not my cup of tea" the food was hot and my family enjoyed it.

“Skyline Chili is my favorite restaurant. My wife and I spent a few days sightseeing in Cincinnati. She has never been to Cincy. She has never had Skyline Chili. I told here that you haven't been Cincy until you have their chili. I ordered us Cheese Coney dogs & a 5-way chili. She loved it. Our server was the best. She treated my wife like royalty. She gave her a newbie bowl of their chili to try before we ordered and she put a bib on her.“

I only didn't give this a perfect score as sometimes it gets very busy and they seem to have trouble with managing the extended area during those periods. Still kinda miss the old building but this was a definitely welcome and needed upgrade!“
