We had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. Food was good. Shanta was awesome ! She was very friendly and cordial. She made our dining experience great. Her excellent customer service and professionalism should be recognized.
We saw this place online and were excited to try it out and The Broken Egg Cafe did not disappoint!!! The restaurant is super clean & inviting and so are the staff. Shanta was our server and she was warm, welcoming and had a wonderful smile. The food was beyond delicious, the portions were generous and well worth the price (which was also reasonable). We will definitely be eating here again on our next trip to Sandusky.

Truly disappointed ☹️- got the most expensive item on the menu - lobster and grits - it was very salty and the grits were not southern grits - they were bland - I’m used to having the dark gravy (made with coffee). Don’t good chefs taste their food - and I couldn’t enjoy any taste of the lobster! Waited so long to go there- wasted a very expensive meal!!
