“First time eating here and it was delicious! I had the ham steak, side salad, and cottage cheese. Husband had the patty melt with fresh-cut fries and brown gravy. Fresh made burger on the patty melt, fries dipped in the gravy were spectacular. Dinner was great! We then ordered dessert, I got a slice of lemon pie and my husband got the Ho-Ho cake. Not disappointed at all. Great service and great food.“

“If there were more stars than 5 to give, I would give 6! We’ve seasonally visited this establishment over the past 25 years and never have been disappointed. We arrived on a snowy morning when staff members couldn’t make it in, but were greeted warmly and accomodated. Ambiance was wonderful, they were still playing Christmas music instead of rushing to the next holiday. We were given special treatment for braving the snow. Prices are very reasonable and the food was delicious. Well worth the trip, even in snowy weather.“

“Drinks were great, The Mussels Diablo were delicious, the Seared Scallops with Asparagus and Risotta were amazing, and the Braised Lamb Shank just fell off the bone, so tender and delicious; and the Saffron Risotta was equally as delicious. Unfortunately we did not have room left for desserts...next time. Very nice atmosphere to enjoy each other's company.“

Tonight was Steak Night and you can’t beat $11 for a steak, potato, and salad. The staff are friendly and attentive. Food came out surprisingly fast. I don’t go here as often as I should!“

“First time I went to pickles, I went specifically to get their fried pickles. This was about a year and a half ago and the coating was very thick and I was highly disappointed. I thought how can you have a bar with that name and not have outstanding pickles??? My girlfriend talked me into going again the other day and I thought okay. I'll give them another chance. Oh my gosh! Whoever made them did a perfect job. The coatiing was thin. The pickles were large Spears. It was awesome! Awesome! awesome! Did I mention it was awesome? Lol Can't wait to go back!“

“This is the best Perkins around. The food is always exactly how you order it and so delicious. The service is perfect. Joyce is our favorite server, we absolutely love her! Highly recommend coming to this specific one, you won't regret it.“

“I took my family of four there after a friend recommended. Usually, when we go out to dinner at least one meal isn’t that good. I was amazed that everything was absolutely amazing. The steakhouse burger I ordered was hands down the best burger I’ve ever eaten. The poutine was great, the pretzel sticks with beer cheese was sublime. My wife and 17 year old daughter ordered chicken sandwiches and they raised the bar on chicken sandwiches. The salad was great. My younger daughter (picky eater) ordered a pizza from The 304 Wood Fired Pizza, it was the best pizza I’ve had in the Ohio Valley. In conclusion, this place is one of the best restaurants, if not the best restaurant in Wheeling. Definitely going to be a regular there. I’d have to give it a 15 out of 10 rating.“

“We are from out of town & saw the parking lot was busy but decided we’d try anyways! It was really really busy but Sara our waitress apologized - it looked like she was the only waitress. “We came into Wheeling for the Symphony and this place was in 5 minutes walking distance, and I’m so glad we came! The service was great, and we loved the meatloaf platter- the bacon gravy was to die for! Also get the apple crumble for dessert- so good! “Went here for Mother’s Day Dinner towards the end of the night, and even after what I’m sure was a long hard day, the staff were so welcoming and kind!! Many said goodbye as we were leaving and our waitress was attentive and friendly. Longhorn is by far the best chain restaurant around and the food is always so good. The service really stands out here.“

“These are some of the best wings on the map. First had them a few years ago when I worked in the area. Just stopped the other night and they were just like I remembered. “I chose this place because it was across the street from the hotel I was staying at, and it ended up being one of the best meals I have ever had. The Reuban burger was perfectly pink. The coleslaw was better than my grandma used to make, and I didn't think that was possible.

And let's talk about the strawberry shortcake...this cake was so good I am honestly planning a family vacation back here just to eat this freaking cake again.
