Consistently delicious.
Today was the first time I ever tried Beet Jar. I have been nextvdoor so many times and never knew this place was even there. I am OBSESSED!! It is SO good and fresh and the toadted sour dough bread veggie sandwich...I mean I cannot wait to go back for one tomorrow! Love love love this place!! Thanks but wish I had known you were there a lot sooner than today! See ya tomorrow!!! Chefs kiss to this amazing place!! Please put a Beet Jar in Independence! Beet Jar...my star!!

the new location gets conceptually lost within the van aken district. i last got a hawt plaza sandwich and split a black metal smoothie. neither item was particularly remarkable. unlike the ohio city location, pastry offerings are more limited. there are no cafe drinks or specials. however, if you want to grab a pre-made drink and snack, they certainly offer that.
