“This is our favorite place. The food is awesome. The gnocchi is incredible. Sam is a great waiter. Wednesday wine night is perfect. Oh yeah forget your diet tonight. Get the bread then the donuts for dessert. Yeah donuts. You can trust me. I'm not like the others.“
“This place is exceptional! The drinks boast the ideal strength, and every menu item is a guaranteed win. The chicken is not merely an afterthought; it’s intricately cooked within the dish, offering a flawless texture and flavor. From mild to the spiciest, the dishes maintain their delicious taste. The vindaloo is truly extraordinary. My only lament is not being able to devour more!“
“A really cool and quaint place to come and relax, gather, and literally “chill”. They make the BEST Old Fashioned using delicious and good quality bourbon. They have a few bites- more of lite vittles. Their chicken salad sandwich was very good (not pictured) and the cheese dip was pretty decent. Their outdoor area is very spacious and there is even a lil ice cream shop near their outdoor area that sells soft serve ice cream.“
“Pretty good food. Fennel spice used in lasagna, which is a personal taste, and lasagna is fairly spicy. Pork dish is mostly dry and tough with mashed potatoes being slightly above average. Bread is fresh and very tasty with hints of yeast. Overall, our party preferred Carrabba's.“
“What a great neighborhood bar that Camp is lucky to have. The music is always on point, the dart room is awesome, they have a great outdoor area, plus they serve Old Style. Kiel is a stand-up dude and runs a fine establishment and gives back to the community. They're always having raffles or selling pull tabs for charity.Update: Anna is a great bartender too. She's friendly, attentive, and quite tactful at dealing with rude and/or condescending patrons.“
“Stopped in to visit this restaurant and I thought it was pretty good. I got the Cheddar scallion biscuits And calamari to off, those items were really good. I got the Clyborne Burger which was really tasty! If you are in the area be sure to check out this place. The service was good, the restaurant was clean and up to date. They had a very nice vibe in the restaurant.“
“You can't beat their prices. All the food is delicious. Can you get a lot. Bartender super attentiveParking: I would highly recommend it, the beers are tall and cold. Friendly staff. The food is plentiful, priced very reasonably. And a lot of it. Excellent place to visit. And the people that go there are very friendly“
“Gordos in the hole in the wall burger spot that you didn't know you needed. With thick, unique, and tasty burgers. Thick cut fries come standard. There are so many great burger combos to try, but you need to try either the GFat or the simple PBJ. Across their menu you'll find other sneaky good options like the tacos or the pear salad, but the burgers are the core of why you seek out Gordos. Service can be a little slow, especially when it gets busy, but you can often find this place to be fairly open unless it's a Xavier game day. Helpful to know: Park to the left side of the building in the odd looking lot. The right side of the building parking is owned by a different building/business. On nice days, see if you can sit in the back patio. It's a little oasis from the noisy of Norwoods main drag.“
“The food here is great – I've liked everything so far. But the lunch portions are pretty small. Typical American lunch sizes are bigger, so if you're really hungry or a larger person, you might need 2-3 of these lunch servings. The menu photos are spot on – think kid-sized quesadillas and single small tortillas. Personally, I'd be happy to pay a bit more for larger portions. If you're really hungry, consider the dinner menu even at lunch. Still, I'll keep coming back for the taste!Parking: Location only has roughly 10-15 spots shared among a number of businesses.“
“First time experiencing dinner there and we will definitely be going back! We were welcomed by Dara who was all smiles and waited on by Sierra. She was very pleasant and attentive! Food was perfectly prepared and the atmosphere was so nice especially because we sat by the fireplace. We all ordered the prime rib which was so good and we look forward to trying more of their menu!“
“This place is a hidden gem. Food was amazing. Great service. Wife got the main pho dish. I got the spicy beef soup (is not hot by itself, heat comes on the side). Both were the best pho meals we have had! We will be going back.I highly recommend the spicy beef soup!“
“Small family friendly bar. "Cheers" type atmosphere. Had days special..double cheeseburger and fries. Delicious and filling.Parking: Located close to an available public lot. This lot is where a business used to be and other surrounding business share the spaces. So I believe that although not specifically for public parking it is tolerated. Street parking..although limited is available also.“
“This was a great experience. I didn't have a brew that I didn't like at this place. I'm a stout guy and there was a healthy selection of those. There are a lot of places that go all-in on ipas, but this place has something for everyone. The staff is friendly and my glass was never empty for longer than it took me to decide my next beer. Would definitely come back when im in the area“
“It's been more than 4 years since I've been here. I wasn't impressed back then, which is why I hadn't returned until now. NOW, it is a fantastic place to chill. I loved our pizza. The staff was very friendly. Prices are reasonable. Plenty of parking. I'll be back soon. Thanks for the fantastic transformation. Somebody knows what they are doing. It reminds me of the Mount Adams Bar and Grill without lots of collectibles on the walls. (Hint, I like collectibles...imagine Newtown's history.)Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza was fantastic.Parking: Lots of parking in the back!“
“The gluten free pizza was amazing! Our server was really nice and recommended some amazing things.Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free pizza crust.Kid-friendliness: They provide a kid's menu and crayons, and have a fun atmosphere that kids enjoy.“
“Great atmosphere and music. This place is the perfect hole in the wall experience for excellent music. A+Parking: I took a Lyft and there was no issue at all. Driver was familiar with venue. Plenty of parking on Saturday night.Kid-friendliness: Bar tenders are very professional and very fast. I was impressed with the speed and quality of service despite it being busy.“
“My girlfriend and I look forward to going here every weekend. I was cautious about leaving a review because I didn’t want anyone to know how great this place was. It should be packed more often. Great beers, amazing food, and awesome people.“
“Had an incredible time at The Jester Bar & Cigar Patio in Cincinnati! The atmosphere was lively and inviting, perfect for celebrating the black Greek community. Lee, the bartender, mixed up the most delightful drinks, and Damon Jones, the manager, ensured everything ran seamlessly. The fusion of a vibrant ambiance, top-notch service, and a fantastic cigar selection made for an unforgettable evening. Whether you're looking for a relaxed hangout or a place to commemorate special occasions, The Jester Bar & Cigar Patio is a must-visit. Can't wait to return for more good times and great conversations!“
“The look of the eating area was very nice. It was very loud though. We got food from 3 different places and prices were not to where we could do this regularly. It's not that prices per meal were too high but we had to purchase 3 different meals to get enough food for 2 people. Service was good at each place and I liked the text system when the order was ready.“
“I came here for the first time last night and I like it! I like the atmosphere quite a bit, laid back but nice . Nice clean bathrooms as well. Can't say I loved the beer, it was very foamy which makes me think something was off. But I'll come back and try again.“
“Review wrote by my 12 year old son "We thought it was a run of the mill restaurant then we got the food at it was the best food the bathrooms are great and the waiting area benches have real truck backs 5 stars recommend if you come to Cincinnati"“
“Nice evening out with my cigar buddies. Everyone commented that the food was good, tacos, charcuterie and I enjoyed the kangaroo crustini...first time trying kangaroo tasted like steak. Good drinks, nicely priced. The raffle was fun as well. Very chilly inside, dress warmly...cold feet.“
“One of my favorite bars in the area! I loved the dim lighting and comfortable seating. They had plenty of space and the service was great! We got the charcuterie board which was cheap/pretty tasty. Definitely recommend for a chill night out.“
“I am only going to rate this 4 out of 5 stars because it entirely depends on the type of bar that you're looking for. If you are looking for a bar that is made up of people at the ages of 40 plus then this is your bar, pairing with the fact that it is kind of a dive makes it a great choice to get a cheap drink. There is some good atmosphere in banter among the people that visit this establishment.I will say The only reason I am rating it 4 out of 5 stars is because I have been given grief for being 30 years old and visiting this bar, like come on people.“
“A great warm inviting speakeasy lounge industrial hybrid of a bar right above Goodfellas pizza shop. Grab a slice of pizza and a giant breadstick from below and head upstairs where they have incredible craft cocktails for reasonable prices in a very relaxed and inviting atmosphere with seating anywhere from couches to a classy bar to regular tables that can be pushed together to accommodate larger groups and an outdoor space! The bartenders are always extremely kind, knowledgeable, and great at crafting serious drinks of any sort. We love coming here for low key quality drinks and a quiet warm atmosphere with a touch of leather and wood and class to the air!“
“Waitress was super nice and helpful when making recommendations. We got the K-pop and the trailer park hots dogs which were both delicious! The poutine was just as good as I remembered 6 years ago. We didn’t get the mussels but they looked really good, we will try next time! Great beer selection too!“
“Bottom line: good food, loud and understaffed. Leo the Wandering Magician was excellent. He turned our experience into a night that we still talk about. We went on a Saturday night, and it was packed! We sat at the bar for 20 mins to wait. Couldn't order a drink because there were only 2 bartenders. There's a DJ that makes an already loud restaurant even louder. Music was ok, but later the DJ cranked up the volume and walked around trying to sing. It was an assault on my ears. We couldn't get out there quick enough once that started. There were at least 10 birthdays which meant that the waitstaff banged on a hand held drum like their life depended on it. Again, way too loud & not needed. Side note- I attend concerts regularly, so I'm accustomed to loud but this place was unbearable. Don't get me wrong, we had fun and enjoyed our food, but we wouldn't go back on a weekend. We had to fight to find our waitress every time we needed her. We couldn't even hear her when she did come by. There was a young magician named Leo going table to table doing tricks if you wanted. He was very entertaining & an asset to the restaurant.Steak fajitas, beans & rice, guac, & flauntas were all excellent. The drinks were weak and overpriced, but tasty. We'd go back for lunch. If we ever go at night again, I'll be sure to bring my ear plugs & a bucket full of patience. Suggestion: there needs to some kind of barrier between the waiting/entrance area and the dining tables. We felt like we were on display with hungry people gawking at us bc we were seated right next to the entrance. There's only a small rail between the spaces. The cold air from the constant opening door was uncomfortable.“
“Stopped by Thursday afternoon and a pleasant experience (compared to the downtown which is garbage). Food tasted fresh and the staff were polite. Love all the artwork. Great vibes.I also doordash from this location frequently and never have issues!“
“This is such a fun and immersive place to hang out. Our bartender treated us like old friends and made some solid suggestions from the cocktail menu. Our spritzer flight was unique and amazing and the vibe really made us feel part of a 1970s ski lodge. Thanks Overlook!“
“The Pilot has been my local spot for years, It’s truly like an episode of Cheers! The staff, the owner and the regulars make you feel welcome! The Pilot Inn will always have a special place in my heart.Parking: Parking is never an issue. The pilot inn has their own parking lot and there is also plenty of parking next door at rookwood commons.“
“This is a great spot to have drinks and watch a game, as well as it looks like a good coffee house. Recently visited with my wife on one occasion to watch the FC game and with a friend on another. Both times service was great and on one of the nights they had live music. They serve a variety of local craft beers. Good looking outdoor patio in addition to retractable windows. Hard to find the FC games on tv anymore so this is a big plus and they have happy hour pricing which is another plus. Will be going back“
“Wow! Gorgeous, welcoming space with a touch of Northside architecture in tiny patches of exposed wall. IngeniousKendra, the bartender is personable, attentive & according to the guys next to me makes the best cocktail everKind of weird to comment on the restrooms but they are seriously nice & the hand soap smells amazing ❤️Vegetarian options: I had the beer cheese & pretzel yumminess … but they have salads & plenty of choicesParking: Free street parking after meters turn off. Plenty of paid parking lots & street parking. It’s a popular area on the weekends“
“First Time playing pickleball. It was really fun there's indoor courts and outdoor courts along with the kitchen. We actually didn't end up getting any food but the company was all we needed pickleball while it may seem not that athletic it is very competitive. There is fire-pits and a small dog park area. With it being in factory 52 if you didn't want food here there's places walking distance! Would def come back 5/5“
“As I am becoming a regular patron of Friendly Stop Bar and Grill in Glendale, Ohio, I can confidently say it's become more than just a dining spot for me—it's a home away from home. From the moment you walk in, you're enveloped in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a big, friendly hug. What truly sets Friendly Stop apart is the sense of community it fosters. It's a place where locals gather to unwind, share stories, and create lasting memories. Whether you're catching the game with friends or enjoying an after work drink. In essence, Friendly Stop Bar and Grill isn't just a restaurant—it's a haven of hospitality, where good food and good company come together to create unforgettable experiences. If you haven't paid them a visit yet, do yourself a favor and stop by. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.Parking: There is plenty of off street parking“
“Looove The Comet! Lots of non-alcoholic options and pretty good burritos. Any night of the week you might find a wide genre of music from hip hop to indie rock to noise, amazing comedy on Saturday, and Sunday the Comet Bluegrass All-stars.Sunday brunch is the BEST.“
“Everytime I've been here the waitresses or waiters have ALWAYS been so nice and helpful. The food was always fresh and is delicious ik. I love their Birrias specially, but everything there is delicious and packed with flavor. Their salsa verde is also delicious and not overly spicy. The atmosphere of the place is warm and welcoming, as well as beautifully decorated. I went for my 21st in august and I do not at all regret going there. Truly one of my favorite places. Thank you!“
“Welcoming experience provided by the staff and a sense of community among the patrons while we were there. Great beer selection from a variety of craft breweries. Pictured is a Cinderlands Beer Squish (hazy juicy New England IPA) from Pittsburgh. Pitchers are available. Fill up your growler here and bring it to the next gathering of friends. We did not have any food during our visit.“
“My brother and sister from Baltimore came down for the Cincinnati Bengals game.I want to thank everyone who was at the bar for showing them the good Cincinnati hospitality. They loved it so much considering this was their first time ever coming to Cincinnati, Ohio.“
“The beer selection here and the hipster dive bar vibe is very fun. I had this Lychee beer there and tbh if not for the draw of my friends to the ramen place nearby I'd probably have stayed until there was no more lychee beer to drink. Worth a visit, and I guarantee you'll find something on the menu that will make you want to order another... or three.“
“Neat bar and watering hole. This fun average size tavern serves beer and booze and has lots of cool colorful murals on the outside! Miamiville does an excellent and prized job of representing its own town and area. Newcomers, tourists as well as locals and townie hang-around a from the greater area are friendly and welcomed. They serve small bites and apps and burgers. For me it was a one-time stop in and check out the town kind of place. Modern digs. Review: 5“
“THE Xavier bar. Whether it's a casual beer, wanting to go somewhere for a sports game, or a nice afternoon to eat and drink on the large deck, this dive is tried and true for generations. If you're part of the Xavier community, you know this place well. If you're not, you should wander off Wasson way in a sunny afternoon and enjoy a drink out on the two tiered deck. Helpful to know: Try the Hershel Special.“
“I feel bad as I don't remember the specific name but it was a super tasty old fashioned. I stopped in with my BFF after ordering a sandwich at another location at Factory 52. I have been here before and got a yummy coffee. If in the area I would be happy to come here.“
“This bar has cheap drinks, but it's cash only (there's an ATM at the UDF a quarter block away tho). Real fun crowd and chill bartender. Even ran into friends I hadn't seen in awhile. They have various potato chips if you want a snack. They had a good DJ when I was there and people even danced (however, I can't guarantee it's an every Sunday night thing - if so, even better).“
“Solid sports bar with terrific food. Cheese coney is on point. Chili fries are dynamite. But the chicken tenders with sweet Thai chili dipping sauce are where it's at for us. Great drinks. Narraganasett on draft. Rotating selection of slushes. And we love their popcorn machine! Bartenders are amazing. Second Place is just a really solid neighborhood spot to watch a Reds game or FC|C match. It's one of our Northside favorites.“
“Absolutely love having Catch-a-Fire Pizza in Westwood and particularly at West Side Brewing. It is really great having a food option daily right in the taproom and the menu is great. The pizza, wings, Knotty Bread, and ranch are all delicious. We have eaten in the taproom and we have also taken our order across the street with DORA drinks to Town Hall Park.Convenient (open daily starting at noon—11a on Saturdays!), delicious, and very happy to have Catch-a-Fire in the neighborhood.“
“I really love the ambiance of this taproom, the food is yummy, especially the nacho's. Beer from local breweries, and a ton of mixed drink specials. The bartenders are great, and super helpful when you need information on the beers. I am so glad they opened, and the parking lot attached is great. Love going into Torn Light Records before or after the visit too. Great area in Clifton! So glad this place exists.“
“★★★★★ Food & drink quality★★★★★ Service★★★★★ Ambiance★★★★★ Value★★★★★ Menu selection★★☆☆☆ Location/AccessibilityDate visited: 12/14/2023I'm not particularly keen on drinking, but my friend MW is a nightlife queen. It was her idea to visit this establishment, and I must admit, it's one of the better bars in the area. My night began like any other with MW: a spontaneous invitation followed by my eager acceptance. We managed to secure a spot in the street parking lot, feeling fortunate amidst the sea of cars lining the streets. Before going all in for the drinks, we primed our bellies some curry at a nearby restaurant. The bar didn't immediately catch my eye, as its exterior blended in with the surrounding buildings. However, through the glass window, I caught a glimpse of the warm glow and familiar silhouettes inside. A small yet distinctive sign hung above the entrance, signaling our destination. Inside, dim light washed over the worn wooden counters, creating a warm, almost conspiratorial ambiance. Unlike the bar stereotypes in my head, here was a haven of hushed conversations and gentle murmurs. No blaring music, just the clinking of glasses and the occasional outburst of laughter – a symphony to my non-musical ears. We approached the counter, where a respected older lady with a voice like aged whiskey took our orders. MW, the drink expert, naturally handled this. The bar buzzed with activity, a mix of solo sippers and lively groups huddled around tables. Finding a large but unoccupied round table, we settled in, only to move deeper into the establishment seeking a different energy in a corner overlooking a mysterious back room rumored to host live music shortly thereafter. Music, however, was absent in the main bar. Instead, a unique soundscape emerged: the gentle clinking of ice, the low rumble of laughter, and the occasional dull thud of a pool cue. In this unexpected serenity, conversation flowed effortlessly, and connection mattered more than anything. As MW and I chatted, I couldn't shake the feeling of gratitude for her company, despite me being a Plain John. We departed the bar shortly after 9, just as a gentleman with long, flowing black hair entered with equipment.Overall, I would recommend Northside Tavern to any bar-goer out there, although its popularity is already well-established.“
“Happy St. Paddy's Day! Less insane the Hap's Irish Pub, but still a great place to toast our ancestors and the Emerald Isle. Apologies for the fish and chips, but they were a must for my husband! We did have an Irish mule and a Jamison.“
“Large overstuffed sandwiches & big plates. Chicken salad was stuffed with honey flavored, pulled white breast meat. Had to take half home. Sweet potato fries were fresh & flavorful. Tortilla chips were served warm with a large bowl of delicious salsa. Reubens had a generous portion of sauerkraut. The service was excellent! Can't say enough about our waitress!“
