“From someone out of town, based in Chicago, me and my partner had a great night at Tillie's. We went to a couple other gay bars in the area and this was, by far, our favorite. The owner was there and was super friendly. Service was quick and also very nice. The crowd at this bar beat the crowds at the other bars, more inviting and felt welcoming. Overall, five stars for the atmosphere at Tillie's!“
“such a nice shop and owner! Had a flat on my ebike, it was fixed in less than one day and very reasonable I thought! I tried to do myself but it was too complicated since it was the back wheel where all the main workings were. Highly recommend! Thank you for your prompt service!“
“When I arrived the very first time, everyone was nice. Smiles and hi's. I introduced myself and the guy I spoke with was very nice and found out we liked had a lot in common. Found out later he was the owner. U may think he did that for business, but he was genuine. The place is always open, and I made a lot of friends there. I want to move back here just to visit as much as possible. Sincerely, Larry Straub“

“I was in town and Agave & Rye was recommended to me. I stopped in on 9/10/22 talked with Emma the hostess and explained I was having a few friends to stop by not sure how many between five and ten. She accommodated me at the high rise table back by the windows which was perfect for my nine guest. Sarah was our excellent server, she continually checked in on us even thou I saw her working outside as well. Our drinks were awesome and our food was really good. Next time I am in town I will definitely return here.“

“I had dinner here last weekend and honestly, everything was phenomenal. The heirloom tomato salad was refreshing on a summer evening. Their cod was tender, and the accompanying chimichurri sauce was divine that I could've slurped it. If you love bananas, you must order the banana bliss for dessert.
Now on to the not so good, which was unfortunate, as the service overall from everyone was friendly. However, the evening was nearly ruined by the waiter who had an extremely offensive body odor. I understand that while serving, you may work up a sweat. But if you're larger, you have to take extra measures (besides a soapy shower), such as wearing an undershirt, anti-perspirant, and men's body powder.
I won't let that deter me and will definitely visit again because Alara is truly a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful aesthetic and food to match.“

“Transcendental empanadas, arepas bursting with fresh fillings, frosty beverages, and a little shop where you can scarf up South American comfort foods and ingredients. The Arepa Place is amazing. My first bite into the chicken empanada sent me on a long journey to a far away planet named Delicious Prime. I landed, mid chew, in a great battle of shredded chicken, buttery flaky fried crust, and an assortment of salsas. There was purple smoke, the screaming of my teeth, and a salty wave of energy that made me urinate my pants. Moments later my wife and daughter shook me awake and I found myself on the floor moaning like a cow in heat. "Are you okay?" they asked, frantically. My response, "more arepas. And some of that aguapanela." The EMT team, curious, ordered some as well. Then, with my EMT team, I transcended back into the fever dream of flavor. Dedicated gluten free. Cute wall decor.
Vegetarian options: Lots of bean and cheese
Dietary restrictions: All gluten free!
Parking: Front and side parking, dozens of spots.
Kid-friendliness: Good music and color. They have a bar but it's a nice place.“

“What a great find! We were looking for a place to take a bunch of kids after a birthday Zipline adventure. Decided to try this and it was perfect! The upstairs is amazing! So big and spacious with a bar and balcony and party room with games.
I don't think they want to be known as a place for kids parties, but they were accommodating nonetheless and it was a hit with the kids.
They even had pizzas ready for us when we got there (I called about 20 minutes before we arrived).“
“This establishment is top notch in every way! I recommend the “Kyle” and the “Yolanda Mai Tai” 😊“

“After a long day of shopping at IKEA, we stumbled upon this hidden gem, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming, with particular shoutout to Eduardo, who made our experience even more enjoyable.
The carne asada was hands down the best steak we’ve ever had. Its tenderness was beyond compare, easily surpassing any five-star steakhouse we’ve been to!
We also had some drinks, and I highly recommend trying the Horny Juanito; it was delicious and perfectly complemented our meal.
If you’re in the area, this restaurant is a must-try! You won’t regret it!“
“I have been a HUGE fan of "The Ferm" for a while now. I live in the neighborhood and it is my favorite spot to drop in on. Just when I didn't think I could love them more, they proved me wrong. I organized a corporate holiday party here, and Megan was such an amazing partner in the coordination from start to finish! The actual event exceeded ALL expectations! Megan, Emily and Jean Luc were an all star team! This is my third year organizing this event and this was absolutely THE BEST! THE Fermentorium checks ALL THE BOXES!!! I recommend them for a planned evening out, an impromptu quick drink, or to host a private event!!!!“

“Great place for music, coffee, and vegetarian bites!“
“Stopped on a Saturday afternoon just as they opened. The bartender was going couple of minutes late as he was helping in the liquor store in the front of the building but well worth those extra few minutes wait. It is a bit hard to find but well worth it. 24 taps and a wide selection of bourbon.Service was friendly and personable. Had the Rhinegeist Saber Tooth Tiger Imperial IPA. Very nice easy drinking IPA. Followed by a New Riff single barrel bourbon. Very smooth and tasty bourbon.“

“As someone born and raised in the south, I'm always a tiny bit nervous about Cajun style food this far north. But I was not disappointed at all. Ordered the fried catfish po-bowl and it was so good. The cornbread breading was so crispy and flavorful. And the homemade tartar sauce, wow.“

“Saturday is marketed as R&Brunch (nice play on words). A DJ is there playing R&B music. The DJ doesn’t talk or hype the audience, she just provides R&B not piped in from a prerecorded “mixtape” CD. The music creates a groove/atmosphere that I enjoy. It’s a grown folk feel. Though it would appeal to a nice range—college students and your parents would also enjoy. I was happy with my meal. It was really good! I enjoyed my dining experience. To be clear, I am one who can be NOT satisfied with ALL the little things and chock it up to an awful experience to which I would not return. I believe the cuisine is very well done. It’s not just mass-produced soul food or comfort food that no longer has the passion and love from the chef’s vision. I’ve experienced similar restaurants in other bigger cities and this is something Cincinnati just does NOT have enough of. I am excited the chef is investing in the restaurant and I cheer her and its success.“
