“I will be honest, I haven’t eaten there yet but just had the greatest experience that restored my faith in humanity just a little bit. I was in the Akron area for training with TNVC and I assume my iPad was stolen. Today it pinged at someone’s house and then it pinged in the parking lot of the Basement a few hours after I locked it and left a message for the would be thief. I called and spoke with Stephanie, and after explaining what had happened she was king enough to walk to the parking lot while I pinged it. The thief had dumped my iPad in the dumpster, thankfully not too deep. I just wanted to say that Stephanie was amazing for being such a good person and helping someone with no expectation of receiving anything in return. Next time my family and I are in the Akron/waterloo area I will make sure I patronize The Basement if only to help repay a bit of the kindness shown! This is how a neighborhood restaurant does it!“

“Yesterday Oct. 11th I tried DeCheco's pizza for the first time. It was hands down the best pizza I think I have ever had. Also had their jojo's and garlic cheeses bread as well. I used to go to 2 other local pizza places but now This will be the only place I go to. They have them beat hands down. Looking for fast friendly excellent service? This place had that as well. “Came out for the first time this week after being told about the place by friends. I will definitely be back. Everything was incredible and so fresh. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Tried almost all the sauces, and there wasn't one I didn't like. The atmosphere was busy, fun and welcoming. I sat at the bar, and was a bit intimidated by the drink selections and menu, but Mike took the time to explain the choices and let me sample one before I made my decision while there was a line to the door. Everyone working was super engaging and looked like they were having a genuinely good time. Immaculate vibes, I'll be back!“

I know a couple of other folks you're in Akron that also love pizza and they Also gave honorable mention to Decheco's. I Head several different pizzas from locations around the area In which one or two Stands out and the rest are Good too above average; Anyway, I decided one evening on the way home to try these folks' pizza. No I have to say that it was the day before the holiday and an hour Before they closed but I ordered just a pepperoni and sausage pizza in which The service was Good but when I got home I wasn't very happy with the pizza Couple of different reason I Here as at this point it's not necessary. I did The need to leave a review because I was extremely disappointed Which to my surprise was met by very thoughtful response from the owner as well as a gesture for an amount off of my next purchase. I found that to be very respectable and given that there's nothing but good reviews and my lousy timing I decided to give it a go again. I even went back to the same shop that I got my first pie from And I have Extremely pleased that I did so. I can't yet say that I have a new favorite but I will say at this point I will be back as everything about your establishment from the way you handled a disappointed First time, pizza loving, customer On through follow up order which I have to say was fantastic. The pizza was cooked to perfection the toppings were on point & the ingredients are of quality origin. I Just want to say thank you once again to the owner and thank you to the folks in your S. “I think I found the best Pizza shop around. Great ingredients and full after a few pieces. Plenty for leftovers. Got the Detroit style. I recommend this place over others.“

“The chicken is prepared as Serbian style fried chicken (cooked in lard). The meat is very juicy. The coating is crisp and comes off in big pieces.
The hot rice is excellent 👌 (Thick, not soupy. The rice is dense, not mushy with just the right amount of "kick").
The fries are crispy.“

“Anything I've ever tried off the menu here has been delicious. They have specials for each day and I recommend trying the special of the day. Also they make great drinks ! I recommend the Jamaican Mule, I get it every time, it's delicious. Food wise you can't go wrong. The owner throws down in the kitchen, especially with the seafood and burgers. Talk about good seasoning, everything's seasoned delightfully. My favorites so far are the Shrimp Quesadillas (Tuesday is quesadilla day) , their Summit Lake fries and every Friday is fish Friday with a great deal on yellow tailed perch fried to perfection. This place is tastier than any sit down restaurant in the area trust me. 10/10“

“When you order over the phone it initially sends you to a call center, ask for the store and you wont regret it. Very exceptional customer service and well mannered and not to mention the food is good too. While placing my delivery order i jokingly said we need extra marinara for our cheese sticks because my girlfriend is pregnant and loves her red sauce. 30 mins later when we the order arrived there was a free cookie cake and written on it said “for the mom to be”.We greatly appreciated that and you! “My food was ready and the order was correct and it was good and hot. The woman who gave me the pizzas through the drive-thru was so friendly and helpful. I pulled up onto the curb and thought I was bottomed, out but the manager came out, and he figured out how to get me back up into the lane and I had no damage to my car.
Everybody was rooting for me and was so happy when I drove away safe and sound.
