“We ate at the Don Juan Mexican Bar & Grill - Maumee, 551 W Dussel Dr, Maumee, OH 43537 and had the best service I have had in a long time. Gina, our waitress, was very nice and offered to let me use her nail glue because my sandal broke. She helped me pick an amazing drink and made sure our party was happy with everything we got. It is nice to see people actually care about the people they are serving and not just the pay check they are getting. We will definitely be going back and hopefully Gina will be there with here bright smile!“

“I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. My wife and I have been to every Mexican cuisine restaurant around the MI/OH border in the Toledo vicinity. We have never had a bad meal. Always great, and as an added plus their margaritas are Best in Toledo. The staff is fantastic, and the food comes out hot and quick. We stopped in once again last night. It doesn't get better than this!“

“This Mexican Restaurant is in a nice location, close to one if the malls in toledo. If you are craving Mexican food, this is a good choice.

Large menu, plenty of different options that include traditional and Tex-Mex. And the atmosphere is like the traditional Pueblos.

I got the Enchiladas Surpreme, which gave you 4 different ones, only 2 had meat though which was slightly disappointing. Nonetheless the food tasted good. The queso blanco we ordered was good and the chips were large similar to On The Border.

Our server was very attentive and didn't rush us, even though it was after traditional dinner hour on a Sunday. The food was delicious, quickly prepared, and piping hot. “We were looking for a place to eat, and happened to drive past Palacio Maya Mexican Restaurant. We decided to try it, and we were not disappointed. The selection of food items for vegetarians was amazing with plenty of items to choose from. The staff were quick, efficient and friendly. We would definitely eat here again.

“Restaurant is across from the river and right by a trailhead for the Great Allegheny Passage trail. Wife had tacos and I have a big burrito. Both were very good. Restaurant was busy and limited staff were working hard to keep drinks and food moving (great job)! Great place to hike or bike a trail, grab a beer and a relaxing meal. Very dog friendly as well.“

“I think the majority of people who say this place is bad, or say the Sylvania stores are better - truly have no idea about the portions or how much the workers are ALLOWED to give. Some of the other customers are very incompetent unfortunately. I come here every day and they never disappoint! Will be back again soon too!☺️“
