“Amazing food. Whether you eat in the restaurant, take out or catering it is the most amazing and consistent food. It is our family’s favorite take out and we just had them cater a large (30) family dinner. The food was delivered and it was perfect. Huge quantities and delicious. “Whatever you order is going to be cooked within an inch of its life, courtesy of Chef Torch. It's still better than average, but just barely. The service is much better than average, with a wait staff who know what they're doing. The atmosphere could be better, but it's generally reasonably quiet with adult customers. I'd recommend the Sylvania Diner to anyone.“

“Wish I could do 3.5. Food was fine, but don’t expect anything for free as just good service. Was charged $4 for extra veggies for our wings. Seems a bit insane of an up charge, especially if you don’t warn people. Other than that, great.“

“We came in and were seated at a 6-top in the bar area because there was a wait. Waitress/bartender was not tentative to refilling drinks. After our food came out, she didn’t even come over once to ask how it was (good thing the food was really good) the only time she was nice was when she brought the checks. Left 15% because of the lackluster service. Food was good.“

“On 12/19/25 was our first time ever eating here. It is a simple menu. We got the medium heat. The chicken and fries were delicious. The medium is a good flavor not too hot. The employees were helpful and friendly. The inside was clean and creative. The atmosphere was pleasant. If in the area again this place is a definite favorite to revisit.“

“Have been going here for along time. First time ordering pizza though. I ordered extra sauce which I did not get and only ate a few slices. I asked to get extra sauce to take home and the waitress said it would cost $2.00 more. But she wasn’t sure. We had to ask again about the sauce after we paid the bill. She said they would not give us extra sauce!! Hmmm!! Really? So for all you that like extra sauce on your pizza… they don’t do that! Also, the waitress never took any of our dirty dishes away.“

“Have visited Briarfield cafe, more than once, very reasonable prices and daily specials. Nice atmosphere and always a clean place to eat, staff is very nice. Wide menu variety for all times of the day. Hot roast beef sandwich platter is very good, burgers are very good, love their French fries. “We went to Shorty's after having issues at another restaurant. Shorty's really took care of us, both in terms of service and food quality. I had a half rack of ribs, and they were quite tasty without needing additional sauce. My wife had a pork stuffed potato, and it was quite satisfying, as well. It had the right balance of potato to toppings. We've been to Shorty's a few times now, and they have always done a good job.“

“Got the vegan heart attack, spicy California, and sweet potato roll to go. The heart attack was just the right level of spice, and the other two rolls were absolutely delicious, especially the sauces. The prices were reasonable ($5-6 for basic rolls and 10-15 for fancier ones, plus $12-15 for non sushi entrees). I love that there's a dedicated vegan menu too so you don't have to stress about hidden non vegan ingredients! Thursdays are vegan nights and it looks like they have great specials every Thursday.“

“I had your mead at ORF today and I need to find some to order. The cranberry-habanero was absolutely fantastic. The cardamom was also great, but that cranberry habanero is on a whole other level. Wonderful work.

Tried the two aforementioned and the french toast meads.

These are honey heavy meads, which are atypical in my experience for Ohio. The french toast one tasted a lot like pnacake syrup, not really my jam.

The cardamom was great - mild honey with a bold cardamom. I would love to try that with a spicy meal as I think it would pair wonderfully.

The cranberry habanero was slightly less sweet, and had not only a slight spiciness but also the gardeny-pepper quality of fresh chilis. This is a great mead and I'd gladly order from you if I could find a link to online.“

“We just moved to the Toledo area and I was thrilled to find a Korean restaurant. I got one of my favorite Korean dishes which is the Chap Chae. It was absolutely wonderful! My best friend was trying Korean cuisine for the first time and she got the Chicken Bibimbap. She said it was delicious. Always great, and as an added plus their margaritas are Best in Toledo. The staff is fantastic, and the food comes out hot and quick. We stopped in once again last night.
